Broccoli with Garlic Sauce (after I ate over half of it, couldn't wait)
    Kristen M.

If you are looking for a good, classic Chinese takeout place with delicious and hot food this is for you!! I was very surprised that it was pretty empty, the crab Rangoons were 10/10, very crispy and fresh. My partner loved the egg drop soup. We got broccoli garlic, fried rice, and combination lo mein and were not disappointed!!!!!! Highly highly recommend!

Well there is not much I need to say about that place! There is nothing special or unique to go there or to crave for but if you're in this area and craving for Chinese American food then this is your Go To Place!! (If you can go to Eden Center then of course there are greater places over there A very nice Chinese American restaurant with a very big menu full of huge selection of different noodles types , rice , different recipes and all kind of meats (pork , beef, chicken , shrimp or seafood). It was clean and nice. They had a TV with the Sunday football games on. The food was made pretty fast , tasty and came in big portions!!

The best Chinese delivery I've had in awhile and we ordered via Grubhub. The Mongolian beef was enough for two meals and was fresh and hot without being greasy. Delivery was fast and friendly, most importantly they got the order correct. Too bad they don't offer brown rice as a side option but maybe they'll add it sometime.

The prices are quite good and the portions are generous. I had a full second meal the next day without trying. I got the Yangzhou fried rice and it was very well executed. The meat inside was excellent, with what tasted like lap cheong or a similar Chinese sausage. The egg was fluffy, not burnt, nicely moist, and evenly distributed. Everything tasted fresh and balanced, with real depth of flavor. This is fried rice done properly. The other dish was listed as spicy fried chicken or something, though it was basically a la zi ji. It was excellent. I loved the peppers, and the spices were very aromatic. The frying was done well, clearly cooked in plenty of oil, so not exactly light food, but extremely satisfying. The chicken was crisp and flavorful, and the overall execution was strong. The food came out fast, the prices were low, and the quality was high, and service was good. This is an authentic Hong Kong-style place, not fancy or polished, but clearly focused on getting the food right. Five stars. I definitely want to come back.

Use to not be able to get a reservation on weekend but no longer the case anymore. What went wrong? I feel like ever since the pandemic, they started to go south. The price of the duck has reached a point that is no longer affordable. All other dishes prices continued to increase even though they are always just subpar. On this most recent trip, the duck was good, the Joe-yen shrimp portion is a bit less but the price has increased. The Shiitake with baby bok choy was good but not enough Shiitake. The usually dependable Shrimp fried rice was horrible. Not stir fried completely and no wok taste. Just bland like I can cook it at home. Sadly, that will be my last visit to this institution. Their answer to slower traffic seems to be raising the price and decreasing portions. 6 fried dumplings cost $16. Almost $3 a dumpling. That is price of an entree for 6 dumplings. One last note, I tried to eat my left over duck today and they did not even pack any hoisin sauce for me! How does one eat a Peking duck with no hoisin sauces?

My friend is craving dim sum after being in the country, visiting from Hong Kong for 3 weeks. My friend is quite tan, his mom is Filipino, but he grew up in HK and speaks mostly canto and Tagalog. We tried speaking Cantonese to the staff who are speaking it to each other, so they clearly can. My friend has perfect Cantonese. Mine is ok but I am also very clearly Chinese. They replied in broken English instead. One waitress looked at my friend and handed us forks. So clearly, some racism/colorism in the staff. Context: lots of Filipinos in HK are maids and generally looked down on, so not surprised this happened here. The food was mushy and gross. The shrimp in the cheung fan was grayish. It felt like they had this ready early in the morning and reheated it for later. Siu mai was falling apart. Cha siu bao was good but how do you mess that one up? I've gotten take out from this place before in the past and I always forget why I try to not come here, they forget something every time. At this point I'm sure they're doing it on purpose, like little thieves. Anyway, this place has the advantage of being close, with so little dim sum options in the area, unless you want to make the trip to Tysons or Vienna. Or Maryland. One staff member was laying down on a bunch of chairs nearby loudly watching something on her phone. Any other day, I wouldn't complain about that, everyone deserves a break. But given the food quality and the clear racism in the staff, they should be called out for everything. As with any Asian restaurant, feel free to treat me like trash if the food is good. But this place fails in both places.

I was super excited to eat here again since they had been closed for renovations for a while, but honestly... every dish was disappointing. I'm not sure if they changed the recipes or got a new chef, but the food just didn't taste the same. The salty fish fried rice was way too salty. I know it's salted fish fried rice, but it tasted more like straight salt than actual flavor!! The deep-fried seafood came out soggy, and the beef chow fun was just okay. There is plenty of seating that is spacious and well setup, tables are not squished together where you feel as though you have no space to eat. The restaurant is located in a shopping center with many other retailers, so parking is a non issue. I always appreciate good food that is easily accessible without struggling to find parking while out and about with two young kids. We ordered various items from the menu: - Chicken Leg Noodle Soup - My kids loved this. The soup is flavorful and portions are large so perfect to split among two kids. - Pork Soup Dumplings - Solid option, soup broth inside the dumplings was delicious. - Scallion Pancakes - Deliciously fried to perfection. The menu hits two lanes perfectly: bold, soul-warming noodle soups and dry noodles loaded with zesty mix-ins that slap just as hard. The flounder with sour pickled cabbage noodle soup is the move if you want something that's simultaneously bright, funky, and deeply comforting. The spicy beef brisket in golden soup is pure richness -- the kind of broth you'd drink straight if no one was watching. On the dry noodle side, the Chongqing dry noodles bring the heat and the complexity you want from that style. Don't sleep on the small eats.
