    fish and chips

Came across this food truck while passing through Gold Beach on a road trip. Best fish and chips I've ever had. They have some picnic tables in an open-air parking lot to eat. Very casual, yummy eatery with a friendly owner.

What a great little trailer turning out some delicious food, from delicious breakfast burritos and biscuits and gravy, The most outstanding crab melt! Can't wait to try the burger and pastrami sandwich. Deb is such a pleasure to see, always happy and working hard Tried a Cheeseburger today, perfect with all the trimmings and Debs secret sauce, fries done just the way I like, crispy outside and tender inside Only 8 bucks!

a meal in a styrofoam container

Went to Hunger Paynes for lunch today. The people inside seemed nice and cordial, and I ordered a grilled sandwich from the menu. It was ready without much of a wait at all! The sandwich was pretty good, a little greasy but tasty anyway. I didn't notice until I was almost through with the sandwich that the sandwich had melted the styrofoam box it was served in....to late to take it back, and I figured they must have already known about the styrofoam box problem; I'm sure I wasn't the first person to have a grilled sandwich delivered in a styrofoam box there. What a shame. I attached a picture of the inside of the styrofoam box with an arrow showing where the sandwich had actually melted through and left a hole. You can also see an impression from where the sandwich was in the box. Beware.....

    Seafood combo

Fresh seafood. Owner runs the place. Says she gets seafood fresh at local seafood market. It shows. Melts in your mouth. Fries were good simple with sea salt. Could take it to the next level with garlic or rosemary. It's worth the visit. Located on 101 downtown south of the harbor.

Fish and chips. Fish was nice and flaky. Tartar sauce was perfect. Fries were yummy. Coleslaw was great.

Amazing crab melt and delicious, flakey fish tacos. We loved the baked goods as well. We will be back!

Stopped by as we were passing through. We had the Gooey Shrimp Sandwich (she was out of crab) and it was delicious.

Don't eat anywhere else. Do yourself a favor. Stop reading this review, go there, eat anything, your stomach will thank you. Anything seafood related is a A+. Steak or prime rib also 2 thumbs up!! What? I can eat anything? Really? Yup. You're Welcome!

Upon arriving the parking lot everything smelled pretty good, which was great. We checked in and waited over 30 minutes to be seated, busy night no reservation totally understandable. Once seated we sat there for almost another 40 minutes before a waitress would even look our way. I understand things get busy but walking past a table that has been waiting without even an acknowledgment, offer for a drink, or even a comment of "we'll be right with you" was definitely disappointing. Like I mentioned earlier, I usually love supporting small restaurants. And the food smelled good so we stayed waiting. We finally order our food, by then another half hour has passed before we get our food, which was overall underwhelming. I ordered a filet mignon which honestly seemed more like a sirloin. The crust and cook on it was good, although the flavor was lacking. I enjoyed their vegetables and mash potatoes far more than the steak itself. My partner ordered a prime rib whose only saving grace was the au jus it was served with. Overall, we felt very disappointed with the service. The food was okay but I personally wouldn't return considering the price point.

So last night , we thought we would have burgers instead ( because we live low carb, we rarely get to have a bun and never get to have fries. The wagyu brisket burger at spinners is extraordinary. No matter what you get on it, the mouthfeel and the toothsome quality of every bite just makes you shut up. It's cooked to perfection. My husband had his with blue cheese. I had mine with grilled onions and regular cheese and it was a fantastic meal. For dessert, I had the tiramisu which was exceptional, Perfect balance of richness and decadence. The cocktails were fantastic as well. We really never considered how great it would be to have a burger at a fine dining restaurant until now, so we consider ourselves fortunate that we experienced this at Spinners. Oh I forgot to mention the wait staff is fantastic. Very attentive & knowledgeable. It's comfortable. Our table had an ocean view and the lighting was lovely.
