Pros: I love Hunger Street, and I love that there's a location cozily nestled here in the Plant Street Market. I also love the simplicity of the toppings. A few items of veg, one or two sauces, and maybe some cheese, and boom, a wonderful taco. The counter staff was very friendly and was quick to make recommendations for us. Cons: There aren't many cons. Just that I don't have one anywhere near Oviedo. Lol. Tips: Get one of each. We only had two, and we had regrets.

Honestly the tacos weren't necessarily bad but they weren't necessarily good, especially given the price tag. The tacos are not big whatsoever so I was still hungry after dropping almost $20 on three tacos whereas I could pay almost half that and have a full plate of tacos, rice & beans, etc at a Mexican cuisine establishment. Staff was friendly and food came out a decent time, but just wish they were cheaper for the quality and size of them.

It's in a market aisle area. There is a lot of options for your taste. The birria soup/dip for your taco is thick and a tad on the salty side for my taste. The "machete" taco was cheesy and stuffed with meat. Very delicious I enjoyed it a lot. I would come back and try something else on their menu. I was able to order online and pick so interaction with staff was minimal but they were polite and courteous. You definitely have to search where to sit. But their area is clean and put together.

I love the Fairbanks location and was excited to hear that they were coming to Winter Garden. Hunger Street Tacos boast that they use the highest quality ingredients and that their recipes represent traditional Mexican cooking and I believe that they deliver. On my last visit I ordered the carnitas and chicken tacos. The chicken taco is made with pulled chicken, cilantro, onion, lime and avocado salsa. The carnitas have braised pork, cilantro, onion, lime and guajillo salsa. Street tacos are small but loaded with meat. Their corn tortillas are delicious and they have great tasting salsa.

One of the best bang for your buck options at Plant Street Market. I've tried most of their tacos, which are in the $4 price range, and their nachos, which are about $10 for a plate that it is easily shareable. They were all decent-sized portions that come with protein and have good, balanced flavors. The food comes relatively quickly and warm, and the staff was always patient/friendly with me each time I ordered at this location.

What a great lunch spot! The staff was so nice and patient while we chose. The tacos and food is all fresh. He got three tacos and I ordered the chicken nachos and in ten minutes the food came out hot and was so yummy!! Take your tacos outside and enjoy the sun or shade.

There's a lot of places to choose from in Plant Street Market but one of my favorites is Hunger Street Tacos! I always get the cheese quesadilla which is a steal at only $3 bucks and some change and some tacos with corn tortillas. It's a great pairing with crooked can beer

It's a very unassuming place. No inside dining. You order at the counter and you sit outside. It is covered seating. The food was good. I had the brisket taco on fried cheese. Next time I would order on a regular tortilla. The cucumber salad was refreshing. They have hibiscus tea made in house and it was very nice but may be too strong for some people. The mushroom quesadilla was full of mushrooms and quite good. I had expected it to be much bigger but it was on the smaller side. The elote was also very flavorful. The fried avocado taco was the highlight and surprise of the meal. How does one fry an avocado and not have it greasy tasting and mushy. Definitely order multiple tacos and/or quesadillas since they're more tapas style.

I came by plant street market on Sunday to check out the new vendors and was presently surprised to see hunger street tacos open and ready for business. I wasn't too hungry so I started with two carne asada tacos and an order of potatoes. The tacos were good. The potatoes were my favorite, the sauce it comes with.....let's just say, I can drink it. Overall, the food was ok. A prices were a little steep for what I ordered. Plant street is always busy and exciting. Let's see what Hunger Street Tacos has in store for us.

This is a tough one. Two visits now. First one the food was excellent even tho the prices are sky high. Today on Mexico's Independence Day we stopped by and were disappointed. The tacos, elote & quesadilla was average. Pork was dry. Asada was good. But the price!!!!! So expensive for what you get. 3 street sized tacos (small), 1 small quesadilla and elote (corn) with crema & cojita cheese. $28. I'd come more often if the prices come down. If they don't, the value just isn't there for me.

It's always exciting when a new vendor arrives in the Plant Street Market. Plant Street's newest food vendor, Hunger Street Tacos, fits right in! Family owned and inspired by traditional Mexican street food, these tacos are legit! We tried the suadero (brisket), chicken and mushroom tacos with a side of chips and freshly made salsa. The tacos were very flavorful as was the salsa. Pair them with a beer from Crooked Can and you are good to go!

(3/25/2023) delicious array of taco fillings and selected garnishes. The Grilled Cheese (haloumi) was substantial for a vegetarian taco, with savory, well-seasoned black beans. Tacos we're very "juicy" that is, a lot of liquid exuded, making them extra messy, but very tasty. Also had steak and brisket tacos. Def get the El Mananero (brisket with egg, black beans and avocado sauce).

I was coming…read morefrom Disney Springs and heading to do some shopping up on Sand Lake Road so this was the perfect area to stop in. There are quite a few places in this complex to dying and so far I've had good food from all that I've been to. This area has really been built up in recent years. So he stopped in here during lunch and I was able to walk right up to the counter. I did have to wait a couple minutes before someone offered to take my order and then they had to step away quickly because the alarm was going off for the deep fryer and the taco shells were done. The other gentlemen working stepped over and took my order. I picked the General Tso's tacos which is kind of a fusion of Hispanic and Asian food. Then the website they come with a choice of crunchy chicken or extra crunchy chicken and then it's tossed in the sauce which is fairly mild and they add some of their lime rice along with cilantro, jalapeños and lettuce. It also comes with some chips. I asked for extra jalapeños. I realized later I should've asked for extra sauce. My food was prepared quickly and set up for me to dine in because I told them I was eating there. I did get a drink to go with my meal and I found myself a seat to enjoy my tacos. The jalapeños are very unevenly sliced, and there were some very large pieces in these. I probably got more than I intended, but I did like them. My problem was that the chicken itself just needed more sauce. I tried to piece on its own and was able to confirm this. The chips were good and helped balance the burn from the jalapeños. My meal was filling and enjoyable. When I was done, I went to refill my drink and grab a lid and a straw to take with me. I went over and filled it up and grabbed a straw, and I couldn't find any lids. I turned around and saw some lives on the counter, but when I walked over and looked, I realized they were only for larger cups. One of the employees walked over to see if they could help me and when I asked about a lid they said "oh sorry we don't have any lids for that size cup". I kind of felt that it would've been nice if they had offered me a cup that I could put a lid on, but I just took my soda with me and drank a bit so it wouldn't spill in the car on my drive. The surprise was that I got a text from Bubbakoos asking me to answer a few questions survey about my visit when I was in the car. So I filled out the survey and explained about my meal and that I enjoyed it, but they had no lids and I should've gotten more sauce for my tacos. Part of that is really on me. They were very busy once I was seated and I did not want to bother them. Someone from management sent me a message later thanking me for my review and apologizing for the issue I had and gave me a gift card towards my next meal. I was not expecting that, but I will put it to good use because I do like Bubbakoos.

The other girl, who was preparing the food, was the opposite in her demeanor. She did not seem to want to be there that day. We ordered one birria quesadilla with Fajita veggies and the other had extra queso instead of veggies. They were huge and stuffed with meat, which we loved. What I didn't like was that the quesadillas did not have a lot of cheese on the outside and they were not crispy. It seemed it wasn't on the grill long enough to crisp up the cheese. The flavor was good and the inside contents were generous. They also give guacamole at no extra charge, unlike their competitors. I would likely try it again and maybe order in person vs. the app so that I can specifically request a crispy cheese-crusted quesdailla.

The food wasn't awful, but it also wasn't amazing. The chicken was bland and dry, and a lot of the ingredients seemed very pre-packaged. We watched staff refill the cheese and guac directly from bags and even dump it from the bag onto someone's plate, which took away from the overall experience.
