2 taco plate with brisket and carnitas
    Lora B.

This spot has an awesome location. We were originally going to the pizza spot next door, but with their shared dining room it felt like it was meant to be. Great beer selection with a lot of great local picks, which we were even able to take some to go for later. As a tourist, I loved this option. Tacos have like a fried cheese tortilla on the outside to give it more crunch and little extra flavor. Brisket was tender and delicious, and the carnitas had great options that were bursting with flavor. Service was fast and friendly, area is clean, and plenty of seating. This spot was a win for us.

Really love the tacos here. Great crispy taco shell. Quite a variety of choices. They just go back their brisket taco. Quite good. Fabulous selection of cold beers.

This place has been on my radar for a while and we finally stopped in. Should have done it a long time ago. Wife had a Tacosaurus bowl which looked good and she confirmed it indeed was. I got the Brisket Bomb burrito. All the fillings were very tasty but the brisket was amazing. I asked the guy where they got it from expecting a local BBQ place. But no! They have a tiny cabinet smoker right there. It was as good as any of the best barbecue places in town. It's not the prettiest inside or out but the service was fast and friendly and the prices were good for what you get. There's a pizza place connected next door that I need to check out. I'm regretting not getting here sooner.

Haven't been in a while. Stopped in for a salad. Decided to get the El Compadre with the salad base. Held the tomatoes and jalapeños but added guacamole. The food was delicious. The salad didn't disappoint and delivered on the great taste and flavor that I have come to love. Service was reasonable and the staff was friendly.

Friendly service. Environment - decorations are nice and for the most part, it's clean. The food was good. We split the nachos because in the pic, you can see it's massive. The price is decent for the amount of food you get.

This is more about the service than anything. It was outstanding. I stopped for a quick bite on my own and was made to feel very welcome. The gentleman behind the register recommended two different tacos to try and also a great beer selection. There are lots of different beers to try the Al Pastor taco was amazing. Staff checked in with me without being intrusive while I was eating. The place is clean, which is nice. Definitely will go back.

Finally came to my second location of Tin & Taco with some friends. I loved my original location, so I came into this with high hopes. The location is super cool. It's inside the same building as and shares a dining room with SoDough, another banging restaurant. So it's actually perfect for friend groups who are in the mood for different foods. Service was good. It's purely counter service, but the employees helped me build the perfect meal out of my complicated desires. I started off simple, though, with the chips and dip platter. This was a giant serving of chips and three giant cups of dips, salsa, queso, and some guac. The chips were perfectly crisp and seasoned. The dips were delicious. A very good app for the table. I went on to order two three-packs of tacos. I will say, some of their tacos are like, barely different from each other. So after decoding what ingredients were the most bang for our buck in each taco category, we build the perfect combo. Looking back, I don't have any idea of what I ordered, but I remember they were delicious. The tortilla was soft, yet strong. They had to be strong, because they weren't exactly skimpy on the fillings. The fillings were all cooked well, well-seasoned, and each of the fillings played their roles in the overall taste of the taco. Very well done. So overall, this is a very good taco joint. They may be my favorite tacos in town. I'll have to do some more research, though.

Most unique tacos in Orlando! Whenever we are in the Orlando area we love to drop by this place to get unique and fresh tacos. We love the outside the box craft tacos and large craft beer selection. Fresh ingredients and fast service make this place a huge hit for anyone looking for tacos in the area. Don't forget to try the tacosaurus taco that was our favorite with Doritos ontop of it paired with the cheese tortilla shells it's a 10/10

Pros: This is in a very cool spot, sharing a dining room with a SoDough, like a tiny little food hall. Service was great. I always love it when the employees help me strategize the best things to eat. The food itself was great. It's always great. We got like six tacos and split them between us two. Cons: No cons. Tips: If you like chips and dips, get the chip app. Huge servings of queso and guac and salsa. You might fill up just with this. If you don't usually like tacos, give these a chance. The tortillas are very unique, unlike any other ones out there right now.

I visited Tin and Taco in SoDo, Orlando, with a friend, and it was an awesome experience. I tried the Mac Attack and the Taco Bomb, and both were packed with flavor. The Mac Attack taco was amazing! It featured Angus ground beef, creamy craft beer mac and cheese, crispy applewood smoked bacon, and green onions. The mac and cheese was rich and comforting, while the bacon added a smoky crunch. The beef was perfectly seasoned, and the green onions added just the right freshness. It was indulgent but still well-balanced, and I loved every bite. The Taco Bomb was another winner. It had Angus ground beef, shredded lettuce, craft beer queso, white cheddar, pico de gallo, sour cream, and crunchy potato sticks. The beef was flavorful, and the queso and white cheddar made it extra cheesy and creamy. The pico de gallo added a fresh kick, while the potato sticks brought a satisfying crunch. It all came together perfectly. I don't remember exactly which taco my friend ordered (it's in the middle of my picture!), but we both left full and happy. The portions were generous, and at around $5-$6 per taco, the prices were fair for the quality. The atmosphere was lively, and the service was friendly. If you're in the SoDo area, definitely check out Tin and Taco--especially the Mac Attack and Taco Bomb. You won't be disappointed! The best tacos in Orlando! This was an exceptional visit! I ordered a buffalo taco and a chick magnet taco, which are my favorites. I paid for my food and before I even had a chance to fill up my cup, the tacos were ready. It took less than 2 minutes to get my food! My friend ordered a burrito and instead of having us walk back up to the counter, they brought it to our table. The dining room was clean and it was an overall great experience!

Disclaimer: this review is for the lunch buffet only…read more I went with my family to try the $18.49 all you can eat lunch buffet. This was my first time experiencing a buffet for hispanic food and for this price point in Orlando, this is an amazing value deal. The server regularly brought us out silverware, napkins, and refilled our water. The place is decorated very fun and plays latin music which was lovely Not only was there an unlimited assortment of lunch foods, but an entire bar of fresh toppings for tacos (or rice bowls) and made to order desserts which were included for free! Not everything on the buffet line was the best but given the amount of options, price, and how good the great items are this is still worth a five star rating. I unfortunately did not take pictures of the food before I began devouring everything in sight to the point of near-collapse, but I will do a quick rundown of the buffet highlights: The best meats were the fajita steak, chicken, and shrimp made fresh in cast iron skillets, as well as the chicken lengua which was super flavorful and tender. The mexican rice, beans, fajitas, plantains, and street corn were also excellent. Fresh quesadillas, chips, and corn tortillas on standby with homemade queso and salsas. The flan and mini churros were the best I've ever had. Super rich, decadent Carmel flan. Mini churros hot and crisp on the outside, filled with a gooey soft milk chocolate center. They were delicious. Items that were disappointing: the tamales, mini chicken flautas, and beef chimichangas were just okay, lacking the seasoning and flavor that other dishes had. The beef barbacoa was not as tender or flavorful as the shredded chicken surprisingly. The mixed seafood was itself a mixed bag with some shrimps / scallops overcooked to much while others were perfectly cooked. The chicken mole and beef tri tip were room temperature despite sitting on hot plates. The tri tip also varied widely in doneness throughout the slices and not super tender. The rice pudding was pretty standard, and the tres leches cake was weird as they crumbled the cake into pieces before soaking it.

When I sat down, I ordered the frozen Margarita flight, which came with a watermelon, mango, and strawberry Margarita. All of them were pretty good, but by far the mango was my favorite. It tasted just like you were drinking mango nectar. For my entrée, I ordered the Carne Asada tacos. They had such a great taste, and the portion size was quite generous. I ordered it with rice and beans, and it all left me feeling quite full. The atmosphere is also quite nice. With it being in the heart of downtown orlando, I thought it might be loud and busy in there, but it was actually quite quiet and relaxing. The service was also very quick and prompt to get all of our food. Our waitress made sure to check in with us throughout service to see what we needed!

When we arrived, the restaurant was practically empty, there was no hostess, and we had to wait to be acknowledged. Our server (a Hispanic woman with heavy goth-style makeup--I didn't catch her name) was polite enough, but there were several missed opportunities to improve the experience. The biggest issue was that they were out of multiple menu items we specifically came to try. We had also planned on ordering the duck-themed cocktail that was pictured online, only to be told, "We don't do that anymore." If that's the case, the menu and promotional photos should really be updated. Food: * Chicken Nachos - 3/10: Mostly burnt chips with hard, unmelted cheese. There was barely any chicken, and they lacked flavor. * Watermelon Margarita - 0/10: It was extremely sour. I sent it back and ordered a frozen margarita instead. * Frozen Margarita - Average at best. What was frustrating is that happy hour started about seven minutes later, and our server never mentioned that nearly everything we ordered would have been half-price. A heads-up would have been appreciated. * Street Corn - 6/10: The tableside presentation of cutting it off the cob was nice, but that's really what you're paying for. It could have used much more seasoning, and only two small pieces of corn were served. * Shrimp Tacos - 2/10 * Fish Tacos - 2/10: Both were soggy and lacked flavor. * Spanish Rice - 1/10: Bland and disappointing. Overall, the food was underwhelming, several advertised menu items and drinks weren't available, and the service missed opportunities to enhance the experience. For the prices, I expected much better quality, better communication about happy hour, and a menu that matched what was actually being offered. Unfortunately, I don't see myself returning.
