He came back after asking and told me there isn't any soup. So I said fine I'll do a salad. I asked for no tomatoes or onions. I then had to say could I have French dressing? A few minutes later I explained to the waiter how the soup and salad offering works, that it comes out before the meal. He said he understands now. He comes back with a bowl of lettuce with a few cucumbers. Nothing else, not even the French dressing. We asked for that and he said, "I don't what that is." So that's when we left.
