If I had dollar for every time Hungry Howie's came in clutch, I would've retired my mom by now. #1 The Best pizza you can get in the city of Sunrise for the price (9.99$ for a large!) . #2 It's actually pretty good pizza too. I originally would get cheese but now the pepperoni is my favorite. Their pizzas aren't too thick nor too thin/crispy - it's just right. I typically do pickup orders and everything is super easy. The only complaint I have is that they're not open 24/7! Because it's totally worth it. Having a BBQ/ Pool party with some friends and are in the area? - a few hungry Howies pizza will set the mood - trust me. If I'm being extremely critical about the taste not taking the price into consideration, it's a solid 7/10. Taking the price into consideration an easy 8.5 / 10!! Back home Hungry Howies is the ish! There's not many in FL so I was excited when I saw there was one near my Office. This is my 2nd time giving them a try. The 1st time the pizza was just "ok." I know all restaurants have bad nights, so I tried tonight. MISTAKE!!! My bread, wings and sandwich are all burned on the bottom. The wings are dry and have no flavor. The sandwich tastes decent but looks nothing like the pictures or what I'm used to back home. The sandwich was the only thing not burned on the bottom. Honestly Little Caesar's tastes much better and is cheaper. I think this was my last time giving them a try. read more

They have a very delicious No dough bowl that is great because I could order this and it still tasted like a pizza. Be diabetic we all know the dough is brutal on your sugar. The price posted was $8.99 with up to four toppings. That was a misprint. Ok I can deal but now they are charging almost $12.99 for it. It's cheaper to buy a pizza. Small place that can not open their lobby due to covid but that has not hindered them from giving outstanding service. This is my first time here. I was directed to go to the side window. Was met by a very nice man that gave me the menu and suggestions as to what they had. I decided on the hot ham and cheese. He explained how it comes. Man oh man was it delicious. Hungry Howie's is my go-to, nearby, single serving, take-out pizza stop. It's quick, convenient, and tasty. Plus, where else can I get an individual pizza with two toppings and a flavored crust for $4.99? I think a large pizza with 2 toppings is $6.99. Super affordable. For the price, I thought it would probably resemble cardboard. I was wrong. HH's pizza is a pan pizza, not thin crust New York style. They have all the regular toppings to choose from and a mild, but good, pizza sauce. You can choose to flavor your crust, or not. Same price. I tend to order the small pizza with extra cheese and pepperoni on half, with the garlic herb crust. It's always super cheesy and hot. I like the flavor variation that the flavored crust gives. Kicks it up a notch. I always get at least 2 meals out of the small pizza, and still feel like I pigged out. I've had nothing but good experiences with Hungry Howie's. Whether I walk in to place my order and wait 10 minutes while it cooks, or call it in, the staff has always been courteous, friendly, and efficient. Yes, I've had to wait my turn to order, but it's a busy place. Overall, Hungry Howie's is a great value for more than decent pizza. read more

The small 10" pizza looked liked a doctored up mama celeste frozen pizza, and tasted just about the same. The "sub" steak and mushroom did not look at all like the image on the website. Most under-whelming pizza not out of a cardboard box I've ever experienced. Dry, tasteless, and cheap cheap cheap ingredients. It was raining so I waited until about 25 minutes so it would be ready and I could grab and go but instead I stood outside the pickup window and stared at two associates pretend I was not there for almost 6 minutes. I am EXTREMELY disappointed in the customer service I received today from Xavier. One of the main reason my friends and family even started going to Howie's was because of this location. Today I was placing an order for pickup and tending to a crying toddler at the same time. I accidentally used this location (because mys sister lives in Plantation and the last time we order it was from this location) I made an honest mistake and ordered at the wrong location! Seriously an HONEST mistake that was not realized until I went to the correct Howie's by my home. I immediately contact this store to inform them of this and the RUDE man was giving me such a hard time to cancel. Screaming at me. Telling me about the Pandemic and all the stuff happening. It was 2 pepperoni pizzas that probably can sell in 5 mins. I apologized profusely and informed him how sorry I was but that I needed him to cancel as I had promised the kids pizza and this was the only money we had available. Long story short I WILL NEVER be back to this location. He mad us feel TERRIBLE when EVERYONE is having a hard time as it is! you should feel ashamed of yourself sir! This is decent pizza for the price. Definitely no artisanal place, but it's good for quick pizza every once in a while when you feel like it. I have ordered a number of times from here. Never had a problem, and it was always piping hot. Usually it's ready within 15 minutes of you placing the call. If you want to have decent pizza pick it up right after it comes out of the oven and get it home ASAP. If you let it sit there, it might get soggy, and you might get a lukewarm pizza. 80% relative humidity tends to do that to something that is made out of dough. I'm comparing this place to similar class restaurants, and not a high end pizzeria. So compared to Pizza Hut, or Dominoes this is a pretty decent pizza. Don't compare it to a Zagat rated, three Michelin star joint. It won't be fair :) P.S. This place has VERY limited seating. It's best to take your pizza and eat at home :) read more

We leave around the corner .. Literately 4 blocks away. No respect to their service or clients.. Lying to you on the phone over and over wife and kid waiting and waiting and not a single apology. STAY AWAY!!! The owner of the franchise is a crook and tried to steal my money. I had the worst experience there. I wish I could leave no stars at all. He falsely advertises Cajun crust as a flavor, but only uses butter i told them I didn't like butter so they took the order and receipt back and told me there was nothing else they can do for me. I was told to leave the store with nothing in hand going against store policy to provide a refund. He allows his employees to conduct disrespectful and unprofessional behavior and treat the customers rudely. I was refused my refund because they stated I waisted product and I had to make a police report to get my refund back. HORRIBLE LOCATION!! read more

When I got home it had only pineapple and said he charged me only 8.99 dollars for one-topping pizza.
