So good. My go-to local pizza place. It's always so good. Every once in a while it comes out a little soft for my taste, but I put it in the oven to crisp it up and it's great. The lasagna pizza is awesome, but so is a regular pepperoni. The employees are super friendly and my order always finished when they say it will be done. Just a heads up, there's no where to sit and eat there, it's take-out only. It gets a little packed and hectic in the parking lot some nights, but that's how you know it's good. read more

This was our first time here. I have driven by this place for years and finally decided to stop. We had tried to order on line, which goes through Grub hub, (even if we are picking it up) and it does cost more. I was annoyed to see that it cost $4.00 + more ordering through them. When I called to order, the person was very nice on the phone, and repeated everything back to me. We had ordered 2 , one large and 1 medium and when we got there , the owner said they had made a mistake on the large and would make again. He insisted that I take the other one home as well. What customer service! I never expected that. When we got home, we all opened our pizzas and they looked great! We have been looking for a new pizza place as the last few have not been very good. We were happy to say we all enjoyed our pizza and will definitely go there again. It is a takeout place only, there is no area to sit, but the prices were good. Medium cheese was $11.95 and each topping was $1.00. The large was $14.95 and $1.50 per extra toppings. Best Italian catering I've ever done. And I've catered Italian food for many years from several different places including Mimi in Hollywood. And this was the best! Everything we had was excellent the chicken Parmesan, the meatballs, the stuffed shells, the garlic rolls. It was all amazing. They only use the highest quality freshest ingredients. Pete's a place uses a delivery service on their website called slice. It took 45 minutes to delivery pizza from Pete's a place to my house which is 1 mile away. I called Petes a place and spoke to the manager who was very nice but basically could not do anything about the delivery service that Petes a place uses on their webpage. Still waiting for my pizza not sure if it will be delivered. I will use uber eats from now on and I will also not order from a restaurant that advertises a delivery service that can't deliver literally ! read more

As promised, here is the updated review now that I've tried their pizza. I've actually been back a couple of times, so this update is seriously overdue and for that, I apologize. I'm not sure to whom I am apologizing, but it makes me sound so darned humble that I had to do it. Now, on with the review. Their pizza is good. I had the cheese pizza and the sausage pizza and both were good. Personally, I'm not a fan of plain cheese but I was in a hurry and I was hungry. The crust is crisp and crunchy, which a lot of people like for reasons I truly don't understand. It's like eating a cracker but whatever. If that's your preference, you'll probably rate them higher than I did. The guys at the window are awesome. They have always been friendly and patient if you don't know what you want. And they keep the place clean and looking good. All-in-all, a good experience. The next time my sister and I have a pizza night, I'm going to pick up a large pepperoni (her choice, not mine) and surprise her with it. I'm sure she'll be in heaven. Was driving down Davie Boulevard with my in Fort Lauderdale, FL when I noticed a really awesome looking sign for this pizza place it was a cartoon character of an Italian guy and the place was called Pete's A Place which I thought was a really good play on words. My wife and I got a 12 inch medium pie half pepperoni and half cheese and it was so freakin delicious I would put it on my list of best pizza I have ever had. I especially loved the customer service we got from the owner's son I forgot to get his name and he told us the story of the place how the logo was of his dad. Delivery was a no show and the customer service was non existent. Ordered delivery to a nearby hotel through this businesses website (large pizza, salad, and soda), and received a text confirmation from an app called Slice that the order would be delivered within a certain time frame. As the time approached, I received a second text message that it was out for delivery. Well, after 15 minutes I decided to wait in front of the hotel for the delivery so the pizza would not be too cold by the time we got it, but the driver was nowhere to be found. After waiting another 10 minutes I decided to call the restaurant as it had already been 30 minutes since the order was out for delivery, and was told that they use an independent delivery service and there is nothing that they can do besides, give me another phone number to call to follow up on the order. I called that other number, which was for Slice, and was told that the driver is in the vicinity and given her phone number. I tried calling and texting that number, but received an automatic text message back from DoorDash saying that the message would be relayed. Another 15 minutes passed and still no delivery. I called the restaurant back and they said I had to go through Slice for a refund on my order. Overall, this experience was very frustrating and my review has nothing to do with the food itself, but the poor delivery and customer service I received. Meanwhile, I'm still hungry and lost an hour out of my Saturday night. read more
