I have had good experiences and bad at this HH. The good experiences come from picking up food as opposed to delivery. The delivery here is all of 50 minutes, if not more. I've never been surprised by them showing up early i'll put it that way. Otherwise the food is what you would expect at any chain HH, good flavored crust, and OK pizza. There are other more "premium" venues I would suggest if looking for "higher class pizza". read more

This place is terrible. Was delivered a partial cooked pizza and could not get a refund because I ordered through Door dash. Like they had no responsibility for a shit meal. The attitude of the "whatever she was" was very confrontational. I'm sure they're used to being shit and then dealing with annoyed customers. But why? I'm sure the people that work at HH's expect to get what they pay for in other places in the world, why is this place different? Don't go here they don't want customers. Paid in full for and online order 2 hours nothing. Called one time said didn't have address. Then tells my address and never told them what it was. Said it will be there in another 20 to 30 minutes. Never came .can't make an on line order and pay without an address and name. Have proof of order and name and address and time ordered. When calling the last time because it was over 30 minutes said they tried to call 3 times. They never did call. Liars! They canceled the order said they would refund the money 3 to 5 days. Pizza was good, but it was missing the drizzle we asked for. Salad was subpar and missing the toppings we requested. Paid extra for the additional items but didn't receive them. Tried to put in complaint and get small refund for the items we paid extra for but didn't receive (which came late because our driver went to the wrong side of town) however the app wouldn't let us put in any comments to the store. I used to love this place, must be new ownership and it shows. From incorrect orders, incorrect charges and incorrect given wait times. 25 minutes of said wait time quickly turns into 35 on a pick up order no less!!!! I won't be back till this mess gets better if it does? Well, the wife talked me into tying this Howies again.... it got worse! Me and my Sister, order 2 large Pizzas and a antipasto salad to be delivered to our Swartz Creek MI Apt. The food arrived fast, pizzas was nice and hot. They were so good we even at the crust, which was parm cheese and butter crust. The salad was equally delish and fresh. We will be ordering from this Hungry Howie's Grand Blanc again. I would recommend anyone living here in the Swartz Creek area, off of Torrey rd, or Grand Blanc area to give them some business. read more

We ordered 4 large pizzas last night (8/12/22) to be delivered to Genesys. I left specific instructions to the person taking the order, asking that the delivery person call me on my cell phone upon arrival. Over an hour later, I called the store to inquire about my order, only to be told that the pizza had been left, unattended, in the breezeway. When I asked why the driver did not call me, I was told they did and 'no one answered'. I never received a call. Upon examination of the receipt, I observed that my cell phone number was no where to be seen. I'd like to congratulate our local Hungry Howie's on disappointing my fellow nurses, surgical techs, and clerks last night. We spent $73 on this order, provided a generous tip and prepaid by credit card. Needless to say, I won't be doing that again, if we order from you again at all. Do better and thanks for starving us after a busy, brutal week. read more

Ordered online and that was basically quick and easy. I got the Leap 29 deal, so after getting a regular large pizza at menu price, I got another regular large pizza at 29 cents. HH is like Pizza Hut in that you'll only find one good thing about it. For PH it was the toppings (or topping, as I only had ham). For HH, it's the crust. The pepperoni pizza had italian herbs, the ham pizza had garlic.The garlic was good, the italian herb was awesome. The rest of the pizza is bland, much like Pizza Hut. Bland sauce and bland toppings and bland cheese. It doesn't have the soggy mush mouthfeel that Pizza Hut had, probably because the cheese is different or because there is less of it. The total came to at least $14, with the first pizza making up most of the cost. This is the primary problem with HH. It's only a step or two above Little Caesar's but will charge you TWICE as much on average. The only reason to get it is when you get special deals (like a 29 cent large), but LC will always be cheaper overall. Someone in my apartment complex likes it, as I see a HH delivery vehicle around from time to time. As for me, I'll keep Jet's as my reliable go to. PS: Maybe their side items are better. There is something wrong with the food at this place. Every time we order pizza here it is SO BLAND!! I've never had that happen with pizza before except for here. It was crazy because my husband And I thought it was just us or our tastebuds before when it happened. This time, we didn't have time to go to our normal Lorenzo's on Hill Rd so we had to do HH. When they gave me the total my husband about had a heart attack - $35.40 for two pizzas and a salad. What?!? Then it happened again tonight but my inlaws noticed the wilted green peppers and bland pizza and salad. What is going on ? HH was always my favorite when we lived downstate :( read more

They wanted to charge me $16.70 for a $5.88 pizza. They said they made a mistake on their computer, but would not fix it. The staff lied and did not delivery pizza and claimed the had the wrong street. I gave the street name three times. Then when I called to ask when I would receive delivery with the correct address given they said they would resend the driver and comp the order. One and half hours no pizza and another call. Said the driver had to delivery three other orders that were late and would be back shortly to deliver ours. 2 hours and 15 minutes and no order and called again. Ordered a party platter for our entire floor and the delivery driver never showed up!! Called the store and they said their driver claimed that he waited to deliver for 15 minutes and no-one ever showed up. This was definitely not the case, as we were in the lobby when we were told to be. Normally, we order from Cottage Inn Pizza and we have never had any problems with delivery. Decided to give Hungry Howie's a try and they were a complete disappointment!! To make matters worse, they refused to come back with our pizza!
