As a fairly new resident to Keego Harbor we received a coupon in the mail from Hungry Howie's Pizza. 9/21/24 I called in a carry out order mentioning my 50%off coupon and the guy who took my order was super friendly and welcomed me to KH. Hungry Howie's is not on the West Coast so I was not familiar with flavored crust and he explained all the flavors on options to order. I arrived 20 minutes after placing my order and our pizza was ready as promised. Our local restaurant was really cleaned, well stocked coolers with drinks and the staff friendly and professional. We liked out choice it was flavorful, hot and well prepared. We will be back to try some of the other food items and would recommend this location if you are in the pizza mood. read more

I usually like this Hungry Howies. Tonight, however, I was very disappointed. My husband and I were ready to have a fully loaded pepperoni pizza, and I saw the '73 classic' on the website, and on posters throughout the restaurant. It was described as a pizza with 73 pieces of classic cupped pepperoni. Well, what I saw when I arrived home with our pepperoni pizza, was just that. A pepperoni pizza. There was no wow factor. As a matter of fact, the toppings seemed awfully light, even for a normal pizza! I ended up counting the pepperoni, and on our large pizza, there were 32 pieces. That is not even half of what was described. I was very disappointed! I could have ordered our standard double cheese, double pepperoni, and had a better meal. With that being said, the place was hopping. The person who served me was very pleasant, if not confused. He initially couldn't find my order. Thankfully, it was right there, and the second time he looked, he found it. The ambiance was fine. I love the smell when I walk in the door of this place. I don't recommend the special pizza. My boyfriend and I often order here via Hungry Howies app. The pizza, breadsticks, and boneless wings are always delicious and hot. We recently tried the Asian pizza. It was soo good but so sticky lol wet wipes should be provided. But the Hawaiian pizza is by far my favorite. The Asian wings aren't spicy at all but they have a nice flavor to them. I also enjoy the Cajun breadsticks but my boyfriend thought there was way too much seasoning on them, making it too spicy lol. read more

Every time I have Hungry Howie's, it's... just Hungry Howie's. Predictable, easy, safe. I avoid returning, but it's convenient and generally crowd-pleasing. This past week while in quarantine, my partner and I were really craving pizza. What's the nearest pizza place to us that was open and cheap-ish? Hungry Howie's. Let me tell you, this particular location did something different. The pizza was absolutely delicious, well-balanced, and they actually listened to my special requests! We could tell the pizza was fresh out of the oven, piping hot and smothered in lots of delicious cheese. The sauce tasted better than I remembered, less sweet and didn't overpower the flavor of the pizza. I slapped on some hot sauce and my pizza cravings were officially satisfied! We ordered the thin crust pizza with cupped pepperoni and it was very good! We also ordered a garden salad and it was very fresh and they didn't skimp on the toppings. They said 40 minutes for delivery but it only took about 25 minutes. Recommend highly! read more

This place is just poorly managed. The staff and drivers are unprofessional. The pizza is never consistent and the management doesn't seem to take any ownership when things aren't right. I gave this place multiple chances to redeem themselves, and it just keeps getting worse. Try a different location or jets. This place is just bad all around. read more

Allison and staff are absolutely rockstars! I called at 8:25 pm in hopes of 12 pizzas and 6 orders of bread for Orchard Lake St Marys lacrosse team that just won regional championships. Allison didn't hesitate and had the order ready within 30 minutes. She was personable and professional and served up hot pizza for 30 boys on totally short notice. Every time, I mean every time i order delivery it's late. I order the pizza, I watch the tracker. I literally live 5 minutes from the location. Tracker says, "On the Road", I call, they say, "Oh, he'll be there within a couple minutes." On average, my order is 30+ minutes late. I pay a delivery fee, plus I give a good tip. I have no idea if it's the driver, the cook, or just the overall location. Why do you keep ordering from them, you ask? Just hoping they will get it right the next time. Had a similar experience to those who already left reviews. Extremely slow delivery and the pizza and breadsticks delivered to us were wrong. Pizza was missing the topping ordered and is very overdone/burnt and everything was cold - including the boneless wings ordered. The manager tried to pass off the mistakes but only after my husband reiterated that almost everything we ordered was wrong did the manager offer to have a new pizza and breadsticks delivered, in 1.5-2 hours (it was 8PM when our food was delivered). We will not be ordering from this location again. Update: The replacement pizza and breadsticks were delivered to us at 8:34. I have adjusted my review from 1 star to 3. read more

All I can say is that they do deliver. Half the time when I order a topping or "extra" of said topping, it's not there. When I call to let them know, they could care less. No offer for a future credit or discount. They just don't seem to care. Ive spent a small fortune at this store and the mgmt/employess are beyond apathetic. Very disappointing. Food OK. Always ask for well done...50/50 chance that it will be prepared that way. Its a shame. read more

This place is so hit and miss it's not funny... You literally never know what to expect... wrong toppings, burnt pizza/bread, attitude from help. Once in a while they get it right. My son & daughter in law moved into the area on Wednesday. I called for pizza & the recording said "hang up & order online and get free Bowie bread". I did exactly that but when I picked up our $50 order, I was told that I had to put in a coupon code. I guess they get enough $50 orders on Wednesday afternoon because the employee was unwilling to budge & did not give us bread. He was rude & we will not be back. read more
