Very friendly awesome atmosphere second best breakfast place in Branson definitely will be back

When we arrived into town we tried to eat here and the wait was about two hours long. We knew that was a good sign that during our trip we needed to return. On the last day of our trip we went back to eat here on a Friday morning. The service was good and the food was wonderful. Good home cooked food. The biscuits were so fluffy and had a homemade feel to them. The portion sizes were huge, so go prepared to eat! read more

Just had the best breakfast! This place is a must-stop when in Branson. Service was great, super friendly and helpful staff. A little bit of a wait but worth it. And they have plenty of seats outside to make your wait comfortable. The breakfast special was a hand breaded pork tenderloin with 3 eggs, hash browns and a biscuit. Everything was done just right. Holy smokes - everything, bread included is home made. Place was packed. The portions rival Billy Gail's. The loaded hashbrowns aren't what you'd expect by loaded. They were over the top - stuffed with sweet peppers, onions, sour cream, mushrooms! You got a ginormous amount. Husband and I split breakfast and he got a side of French toast made with their home made bread. Breakfast was a giant, big as the plate - chicken fried steak, a mountain of hashbrowns, 3 eggs our way, a biscuit w/gravy on the side. Was $15, not kidding. I forgot the cost of the French toast - was 6 half slices. We took a go box home that was full. They have a daily special and close at 1 pm. You might call before you go. We waited 15 min for a table but some said you might wait a long time. Worth the wait! read more

The brunch here was so delicious. The sausage, bacon, and homemade sausage gravy tasted like something you could find in your mother's kitchen. The cinnamon rolls are probably the best in the U.S. The egg baskets are amazing and can be customized. I added sausage patties and was glad that the bacon was crispy, but not too greasy. Excellent food in very generous servings. Worth the short drive out of Branson. Food was excellent, we had the chicken fried steak and split the meal. Take the upcharged hash browns, they are almost a meal in itself. All biscuits and cinnamon rolls are homemade as is the gravy. The only negative is there are only 10 tables so go early or expect to wait. Once seated they are fast and very responsive. read more

I love home cooked meals and this place offers just that! While the space is small and tables arranged a little tight, I enjoyed the cozy "at home" feel. I ordered what I guess you could call a traditional breakfast plate with eggs, ham, and hashbrowns. My plate also came with toast which I found out they make each day. Everything was so delicious! We shared a homemade cinnamon roll that was okay. It was giant, so perfect to share, but also a little tough around the edges. One of the girls I was with ordered a pancake that could feed a family; it was so big! I didn't try it, but the size itself is worth noting. We were so hungry and everything smelled so good. Could hardly wait to eat but there was a long wait, our fault, but well worth the wait. Lori, our waitress was warm, welcoming and friendly, made suggestions to help us make selections, and we didn't feel rushed. The 1/2 order of biscuits, hash browns and gravy, which I order was just right. Everyone else had omelets and the pork tenderloin that looked so good. My hubby and daughter had the upgrade to Bob's Hash Brown and said the upgrade was well worth it. The cinnamon roll was to die for! Perfectly delectable, large, ooeygooey sweetness. I'm an earlier review the owner said you can give you number so you can sit in your car while you wait. Well that's not true. We drove 20 minutes from where we were staying in Branson in a Misty morning to be told they don't do that and will yell your name out the front door. Remember I said it was misting rain so we were not going to stand in it for 30-45 minutes. Please get your facts straight before customers drive there. We don't mind waiting, but we are not standing outside on the rain. And the ONLY reason we drove there is because the owners response to another reviewer saying they will take your number so you can sit in your car while you wait since waiting space is limited . I have wanted to try this place for years but we aren't big morning people and this location is a little far from where we usually stay. We stayed in a new location this time and Hungry Hunter was the closes breakfast spot, so we called in an order to go. The menu is online but no online ordering, but they seemed very comfortable with phoned in orders. Having never been there, I didn't know what to expect. We ordered a tall stack of pancakes for each of my girls, my husband wanted something light so he got the english muffin breakfast sandwich, and I ordered the kids meal breakfast with one egg, bacon, hash browns and toast. Holy portion overload! The pancakes were huge! One pancake was way too big for one person and I ordered 2 stacks of 3. We had leftover pancakes every day of our trip and we only managed about a quarter of a pancake per person per breakfast. My daughter said they tasted a little "eggy" but they were really good and even good cold as a snack! My kids meal was more than enough for an adult and I couldn't finish the hash browns. The bacon was really thick, chewy, and good, big pieces. I think it was maple bacon or something because it tasted extra delicious. When I opened the egg sandwich container, I thought it was a mistake and they had given us an omelet instead of an egg muffin, but I found the muffin halves under the massive mound of scrambled egg and sausage drenched in cheese. We cut the egg in quarters and put one quarter of the egg and sausage on the muffin and ate the rest over the next couple of days. I would guess there were no less than 4 eggs in that scramble for one sandwich, and a huge amount of sausage. The hash browns were tasty and we're still working on them 4 days later. My husband said the place was packed at pickup but his order was ready and waiting. They included handy packets of syrup, jelly, butter, ketchup, and utensils. The packets were great for the leftovers because I didn't have any messy sauces to store in the fridge. I will definitely order again when in the area, and I will definitely do carry out. I will also be way more careful with my ordering and plan for every single item to be able to be shared with 2 - 3 people. read more

Gave this place a try and found our go-to breakfast spot in Branson! I got a classics breakfast -2 eggs, has browns, biscuit with a side of sausage gravy (extra cost), and bacon. I ordered my eggs medium - great, has browns - perfectly cooked, biscuit - warm, soft, fluffy, bacon - 4 slices of thick cut bacon. Plenty full afterwards of course and this wasn't even one of their " big boy breakfasts". Everything is home made. Will definitely be back again...tomorrow in fact!! read more

You feel like you are in someone's home - super friendly, warm and personable. The inside is small, but there is a decent amount of tables.
