First time trying this new restaurant. The decor is beautiful and the restaurant is nice and spacious.....love the rotating sushi. But the customer service and food need work. Ordered chicken teriyaki plate and instead of using chicken cubes they used the same sliced chicken that they use for chicken with broccoli or chicken fried rice. Teriyaki sauce was so light that I could not taste it at all. Ordered a shrimp tempura sushi roll.....it never made it to the table. Had to ask the Asian woman server what happened to my sushi order. Beverages don't get refilled unless you ask. Overall the menu is underwhelming. Ordered the shrimp gyoza....arrived to the table full of grease because they didn't bother to drain it after they took it out of the oil. Too many of the same dishes on the menu and honestly this area already has way too many Asian restaurants....if your a new restaurant please bring something different to the area. read more

Hungry Station gets points for the novelty of being a revolving sushi restaurant. It has an interesting decor, lots of technology with tableside ordering, and robots bringing drinks etc. The fried rice options were not very flavorful, and the sushi portions were very tiny for the price. It's worth stopping in for the experience of that type of restaurant, but the food is meh. read more

It's a new place that just opened up on Monday, September 16th. We went on Sunday, September 22th. They have really nice decor. You can choose to be seated at the conveyor belt or a regular table. Our party(8) was too big to be seated at the conveyor belt. You can still order sushi to the table. The menu had a good variety of items. From sushi, ramen, tonkatsu, curry, fried rice, and Mongolian grill. I got the Mongolian grill dinner. You choose noodles/rice, up to 3 proteins, veggies, sauces. I got the lo mein sauce. It came out darker than what I expected. It was also a little salty but overall really good. TNT roll was good. It tasted fresh. Good filling to rice ratio. The service needs work. It's completely new, so be patient with your server. They're still learning the menu. They also have cute robots bringing your food. Sometimes, they cause a little traffic jam. I'm looking forward to coming again. As of writing 09/22/24, they are waiting on their liquor license. No bar option available atm. read more

Hungry station is great! I've only sat to eat once and you can tell the servers are still learning their way around but it's nothing to be upset about. I've ordered to go at least 3/4 times and my order is always correct, hot and fresh. I love their egg noodles and their sushi! read more

I want to start with this business was beyond fun and exciting to experience! Two of my favorite parts were the rotating belt of sushi and the ambiance. They have smart robots that serve you along with the amazing staff making sure you have everything you need. I loved that they had pictures of the food because I eat with my eyes and I need to see what the food looks like (thank God for Yelp!), they also include all the ingredients with the photos for anyone interested or with dietary restrictions (like me!) The rotating belt is optional, you may also choose a regular table. There was no wait at all and the servers was fast and didn't miss a beat. The prices weren't bad at all, very reasonable considering how much food you get and the quality. Now the only reason I gave a 4 instead of a 5 is because my soup was room temperature despite having steam from it. I'm sure they would've assisted if I'd asked but I was too hungry to wait. A minimum of 3 staff members (outside of our server) came to check on us, I think one was the chef, one was the owner, and one was the manager (I think.) Regardless outside of my not so hot soup, it was a 5 experience! read more

now this is not your average sushi restaurant. I mean from the conveyor belts that brings your food to the decor. The atmosphere is amazing here. Their menu is very large and its all on a tablet or you can scan the QR code to pull up the menu on your phone. I don't recall the name of the sushi that I had but it was great and it was fresh. The lemon drop was also very good. If you are in this area, you must try this place. read more

Stopped in on a whim because nearby pho restaurant was closed. What a great experience. Really fresh sushi on the conveyor belt. All the same price, Big bowl of hot ramen. I added a kick of chili oil. Ordered a bubble tea too. I've had better ramen at Jinya. Will definitely go back. A bit pricey. Calm setting you are asked where you prefer to be seated. I sat at the sushi belt. Each sushi you decide to get is $3 and change. I chose 3 different options. I ordered the teriyaki shrimp with fried rice for an additional $1. My daughter ordered the grilled chicken ramen and my gf ordered teriyaki chicken. The food was good but not great. The sushi taste was very good but the fried shrimp in the sushi was over cooked and rice was dry. The wasabi was also dried out. Our server did a great job. The restaurant itself which I think is only a year and a half old looked a little shabby and needed cleaning. The tray on the table with the soy sauce needed washing, the booths were missing plexiglass that separate each booth, the stainless panels across the back wall where they assemble sushi was streaked and dirty looking and the bathroom had a broom and dust pan with dirt in it. If this were Japanese owned it would be spotless. read more

This is the Dollar General of sushi restaurants. It had all the flair of a much more expensive restaurant with the rotating bar and robot waiters, but the place lacked attention to detail. Floors and countertops dirty and the rotating bar was very limited. K-pop is right across the parking lot and a much better choice. read more

I was just dining in the restaurant today with my daughter with food allergies the manager Julie literally just gets mad and tells me not to return to the restaurant. Mind you I have spent well over a thousand dollars in there since they opened. My daughter always orders a ramen bowl with a 3 to 4 roll of the bagel roll (that doesnt contain avocados that she is highly allergic to). I was told be Julie we couldn't do this we had to order a full bagel roll that costs $8 that simply could be made the half size and the other half could be sold on the belt. This is the kind of place you go to for the experience of it. You can get better food in a number of other places. Go to this place if you want a fun experience and decent food (none of the food we had was bad, but it wasn't memorable). Food: (B) We enjoyed the sushi we tried from the conveyor belt. We ordered fried rice (decent), egg rolls (average), and chicken katsu (decent). Nothing was bad but I've had better. Service: (A-) We had excellent service. There were lots of servers standing around and were fine being flagged over when you needed something. Ours came to check on us enough times that I didn't have to ask her to come over. Ambiance: (A) It's just cool to get your food from a robot! This is the reason to come. It's fun to get other dishes from the train or conveyor belt. Just a fun experience. The restaurant is very spacious and inviting. Beautiful decor and perfect for dining with a partner ,family, or friends. I enjoyed the sushi and fried rice. The server was helpful and the manager came by to check k on us. The robots were cute and it was a great experience sitting in the conveyor belt of food. The menu has lots of options. My best friend and I love and frequent this place because it's just such a fun spot to eat at. The sushi is very tasty and it's one of the only places you can get good authentic ramen without having to drive all the way to Atlanta. The ambiance is a huge plus as well your appetizers are served by little robot cars and the main dish is served by another friendly robot that travels the isles between booths. It's the kind of place that you really want to rate because the concept and decor is cool, but the food just doesn't cut it. The sushi is just ok. Nothing to write home about and I'd probably pass on a second visit. The rotating sushi boat is pretty neat, but once you start to eat the appeal goes away. You'll be pressed to get a "membership" to the place, which gives you 5% on all you future visits.. which is a bit odd. Extra sauces such as yum yum do not come with your meal and come at a charge of $1. It's not a big charge, but enough to be annoying at this price point. read more

The vibe of the place is SURREAL it's giving dark aesthetic and there is lots of blue! The sushi is actually so so so good and the ramen is to DIE FOR! This is a new spot in McDonough and was so excited to try it. The experience is so fun. From the moment you walk in the decor ambiance makes you feel like you're somewhere else. They had robots that brought out your food and you were able to order your food through a tablet at any time didn't need to wait on your server. The sushi conveyor belt was also pretty cool. There was no wait and they had a lot of seating. There were options not at the conveyor belt if you wanted. I definitely would go again. The sushi was good and a decent price. we go to this restaurant a lot but this one night change our opinion on it we ordered a side of udon noodles the tab next to us ordered egg noodles well the robot was programmed to go to the wrong table the people next to us took it a proceeded to eat it I told them that they were our noodles the guy mean mugged me and still continued to eat them then he said these are not our noodles that we ordered the waiter took the noodles and put them on a different robot and did not know how to program it so then he brought the noodles to us even though they had been eaten also we ordered chicken and that tasted bad this was the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant read more
