First in the door on a Monday service was great. They run lunch specials 11-3 so no complaints a little bit of everything for everyone. The ambiance was cute and tropical feels. What a night! From the moment we walked in, the service at Hacienda Bar and Grill was absolutely top-notch. Our server Terica made us feel welcome, attentive, and genuinely excited for our meal. The table-side guac was pure perfection -- fresh, flavorful, and just the right amount of flair. I ordered the organic margarita and it showed up like a work of art: gourmet presentation with dried fruit and rosemary, like something you'd expect from a specialty cocktail bar. My carne asada steak entrée was cooked just right and came with beans that I'm pretty sure were those delicious arroyo-style beans (with bacon) -- smoky, hearty, and so satisfying. All in all, an A+ evening. If you're looking for great food, fancy drinks, and warm, stellar service -- Hacienda Bar and Grill should definitely be on your must-try list. Absolute negative 10 stars! Great location, decent service from the waiter but not the manager --and you can't hear crap. Came in Friday 8 pm and there is a DJ who is playing music too loud there is no dance floor this is a restaurant. You can't even talk and be heard. I asked if they can please turn it down they turned it down for a minute then the manager went behind me and told the guy to turn it back up louder. Lots of tvs and a bar which is cool. Food is mediocre and prices are exhorbitant. If you want to pay for loud music so you can't converse with your company then this is the place for you! Not again for me!! read more

The carne asada was unbelievably tender, truly melt-in-your-mouth good. It was heaven the moment it hit the taste buds. My friend & I decided to give the new location a try, bcuz we always visit the McDonough location, & we enjoyed it! We will definitely return & bring our group with us. Our server Kathryn was very nice & knowledgeable of the menu. We were too, bcuz we frequent Hacienda Mcdonough, but Kathryn answered questions to a few things we were not sure about. The food was great!! I placed my usual Hacienda order & the appearance was different (I liked it though) & the taste was top tier! The freshness of the veggies, seafood, & meat made this dish pure perfection! I tried the Jalapeños margarita for the first time & it was SPICY!!! It literally came out on fire. It was so spicy I couldn't enjoy it. I will NOT order that one again. But if you like spice, you'll love it! My friend ordered her usual coconut margarita & she said it tasted better than the McDonough location. Maybe I'll try that next time. The only downside to this location, for our initial visit, is that it was hot & muggy inside. It was also hot outside but it felt the same inside. I don't know why it felt like that inside but it made for a slightly uncomfortable dining experience. I hope that's fixed before we return. The esthetics of the restaurant is cute. It is not a large space but you also don't feel cramped inside. Overall, we'll be back! read more

First let me say that this is a NEW LOCATION In McDonough. This is off the Jodeco Road exit #222. It sits in between the Chick-fil-A and the Costco. My party of 21 loved it! We dinned here on Feb. 9, 2025 for my birthday. Everyone had a wonderful time. And it did not hurt that some of the people who previously worked at the location near Dave and Busters are now here like the Bartender Manager and some of the Wait staff. They were all so kind and helpful! I appreciate that after starting off 2025 with some issues. Anyway. You can't go wrong with this location. Every meal served to my table was delicious. We had ZERO COMPLAINTS and that is unusual for a big party. But also the tables around us were all pleased with their meals and drinks as well. A couple well party of three at the bar told us to try the 4 J's shot. It has Jameson, Johnnie Walker, Jim Beam, and Jack Daniels, I believe are in the shot. It's got a kick to it but it wasn't too bad for a semi- professional drinker like me! I hope you will try this new open and festive location. They have ample parking, a large area outside to eat, the bar was lengthy, bathrooms were clean. Five Stars for a job done excellently! read more

Thanks for the crappy dining experience inside and the dumpster fire to-go order on 3/18/25. Inside Order: Got it wrong twice. Third time is the charm, right? Did get a free drink so at least had something to do while waiting 45 minutes. To Go Order: No salad. No Pico. Just meat, big *ss bones, and half-full bowl of bean juice, and some tortillas. Shorted on pretty much everything. One bone was so big that it barely fit into the to-go container. I don't have a problem with bones, I've just never had them show up with more bone than meat. Your funny-fun-fun atmosphere does does not make up for the state of incompetence. read more

Placed a to go order. They didn't put the tamale in the order, charged us for it and didn't bother to tell us they were out of that item. When we got back to the house and realized it wasn't in there we called the restaurant. After some talking in the back ground they just hung up the phone. We did get a replacement item after having to come back in person but there wasn't even as much as a verbal apology for the error. With over to top prices like these you would think the service would at least be decent. Won't ever bother coming back here again. read more

The food deserves more, but the service issues make this a 3-star experience overall. We're new to Mexican cuisine and have been trying it out, and while we like the food here, our server has been horrible. We've visited three times, and she served us twice. The first time, we asked about a dish, and she simply said she didn't like it. The second time, we asked for appetizer recommendations, and she said she didn't like any of them. On our last visit, my husband ordered the Chipotle Ribs, but about 20 minutes later she came back to say they didn't have that dish that day--probably because she forgot to put in the order. He switched to the house special, which oddly came out very quickly, even before my meal. When it was time to pay, we were distracted by our toddler, and my husband didn't notice that we were charged for the Chipotle Ribs, which cost $4-$5 more than the house special. On top of all this, while we waited those 20 minutes, she came to our table every 5-7 minutes with the exact same question: "Is everything ok?" It felt annoying and insincere. read more

Said they're the same as McDonough, but my burrito bowl was not. At first Fernanda told me I could not get the pork but went to ask and came back with a yes. It was not seasoned like the bowl I had in McDonough. I had to order grilled pineapples. She insisted my queso was in the bowl,but it wasn't. It's hard to tell when everything is hot, but once it cools, you know. No cheese! Enrique was nice and engaged with me while I waited for my food. Service was great but food was subpar due to lack of flavor. I may have to stick with McDonough. It was clean, smelled like Fabuloso at the door and decor was nice. Prices are high and portions of food much smaller than other Mexican restaurants we frequent. My wife paid $21 for carnet aside tacos and there was very little steak. I paid $20 for grilled chicken/chorizo tacos and the portion was very small also. I also asked for extra cheese, they barely put any cheese on them at all. Our friends shrimp and salmon came out wrong and had to be sent back to the kitchen. When 2 couples spend $125 between them, we expect better food. I had 2 orders of birria tacos and by far the saddest presentation of the dish that I have ever had. The Consume was probably the worst that I've ever had, it was just so watery and tasteless. The tacos were literally tacos. The tortilla just looked regular not dipped in the broth. Nothing about it was "Birria". And the audacity of them to charge $24, probably the most in the area. The experience was great I came with my family and we are from Mexico and expected a TexMex restaurant but were pleasantly surprised by the quality and authenticity of the food. The table side guacamole that was made by the owner was amazing the steak in the fajitas and the molcajete was tender, the margarita was great. The overall service from Mia was excellent, it was the best service we had had at any restaurant in a long time! I went to this restaurant on a Friday night. The music was so loud that the waitress and I couldn't hear one another. It took an extremely long time to get my food, and when it finally arrived the shrimp tacos and beans were cold. I was missing the rice, so the waitress had to go back to get it. I opted NOT to have my food remade bc I work in the food industry and I don't send food back. I spoke to the manager and he could care less about the food being cold.
