    Lemon Pasta

Ate inside. It was clean and comfortable. The service was good. Our server was very nice. The food is good. Nothing spectacular. Could use a bit stronger taste. We tried the spinach dip and tuna over crispy rice. Pretty solid. Most of us had the lemon pasta and I assumed it was creamy but was a garlic oil base. Again. Solid.

Came here to eat on a Saturday when the weather was lovely with our dogs! The patio was so nice! We walked right in around 1pm and had no wait which was a blessing they brought little bowls for water for our boys! My husband got the bacon & cheddar omelet , he said the potatoes were incredible ! I got the ahi tuna poke it was fresh and delicious just like I like

We ordered the Tenderloin Kabobs, a Margarita Pizza, and a Beef Tenderloin Steak Sandwich....wow, all were great, presented well, and reasonably priced. Service was outstanding (Lauren) - super nice, charming & great humor! Venue is super nice, great ambiance, cool looking outdoor venue, elevator, bar area... we'll be back again! Thanks Hungry's!

Today it's packed!!! Bustling energy like at a train station. Private room upstairs and downstairs both booked. I grabbed a seat at the bar and about to enjoy a good burger. Service is timely considering. Bo (Manager) is helping out behind the bar. Checked on me from time to time to see if I needed anything. I. Really appreciate him showing teamwork. He also shared there will be specials running during FIFA. Matches showing on all TV's.

Hungry's is a pretty modernized restaurant nestled in the Rice Village community. It's a pretty casual restaurant that offers lots of different food options so they have something for everyone and an item for whatever you're in the mood for. There's valet services offered outside because self parking options are limited. The staff is very friendly and they have great customer service.

Hungry's is located walking distance from us so we normally walk to allow our toddler to bike in. There's a bike rack out front so we just leave his little bike and ask to be seated on the patio. The outdoor patio is nice and modern, and very pleasant lately with the nice night time weather in Houston lately! I can see how it'll be hot once it warms up! There's plenty of TVs on the patio to catch any games, and makes for a casual experience. Both times we came, service was fantastic! They give the kiddos these origami sheets so they can fold up little birds! They have a decent kids menu - mine loves the spaghetti and meatballs, but it only comes with 3 meatballs. He's more of a meatball kid and less interested in the carbs/noodles. It comes with a kids drink - he usually wants milk, and a cookie - red velvet was the only option he had both times. Hubby loves the ceviche and I always go back to the honey salmon and french green beans. The portions are small but they allowed me to just get green beans and omit the rice! We enjoy ourselves here and always devour all the food! Glad to have this option in the village.

This was my first time here and it definitely won't be the last ! Came for a lunch with a friend! Sat on the outdoor patio and it was very nice. Wait staff were very kind, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu! I had the gyro pita and fries and the gyro pita was so flavorful and a great portion. Before our entrees came out we started with the fire roasted Brussels which were also amazing and super flavorful!! Will definitely be back!

Hungry's killed it yet again with food and service today! Enjoyed some iced mint tea on the beautiful patio. We ordered the Anaheim chicken and the fried chicken version. Chicken was cooked perfectly on both, made potatoes were creamy and tasty, and Anaheim sauce was on point. Pita bread...always the highlight of the meal! Service was friendly, attentive, packed up our food at the end of our meal. We will be back for some other tasty dishes very soon!

Hungry's is one of my favorite spots for happy hour in Rice Village. It's every day from 3-6pm. They have a large selection of appetizers and drinks to choose from, and everything is at a great price! The drinks are good, but the appetizers are better. Their baked goat cheese & cashew queso is savory and delicious. Even though I'm not vegan, the cashew queso is a must try! The service is attentive and there are a couple pleasant outdoor seating options. The upper balcony is my favorite spot to unwind with friends on an any afternoon!

Amazing food, and great service, the guy who served us was very nice and recommended us this two dishes for me and my wife, we loved it. There was a football game in the near stadium so we could see from the balcony all the fans walking by. Very fun atmosphere. Can't wait to go back and try lite food

I was here for a large business dinner. The staff handled our group of 20 plus well. The menu was prearranged by our planner but there were plenty of entree choices to make everyone happy. Everyone had hummus with pita and veggie sticks as an appetizer and then there was a wedge salad course. I liked the jalapeno feta dressing more than I expected. The perfect amount of salty and heat. As an entree I had the fettucine bianca with grilled shrimp. The shrimp were perfect and the fettucine was tasty. For dessert, I had the butterscotch pudding which was yummy. Service was great and they got us all fed and happy quickly. Oh and btw the Cuban cocktail? perfection!

Always enjoy Brunch here. Great service, good food, and awesome vibe for brunch... especially before the Texans game !

    Beautiful and incredibly tasty--pear martini...

Creative and beautifully crafted cocktails! Upstairs with Joey... The upstairs patio is perfect year-round.

Thankfully, Mark was there and initially was told a 35 minute wait but seemed intent by quicker. Ambiance: 4/5 It was breakfast time so of course it was a busy time. For my visit, it was crowded but not to where you couldn't hear your table. Dress is casual, good for friends, solo, or pit stop. Service: 5/5 Our waitress was very knowledgeable and friendly. Since it was our first visit there, she gave us some background that it was a Pappa's owned restaurant and food is made from scratch. Food: 3/5 They offer mimosas and I was tempted to order, but was driving and it was 9AM so forewent that option. There are food options for every tastebud. Mark ordered the fried cheese sticks, they were one of the items that I found worthwhile to return for. I opted for the Waffle feast. It included a waffle, that I added pecans on top to, two strips of bacon, eggs your way and hash browns. To say that I needed to add salt and pepper to the eggs and hash browns because they tasted bland and flavorless was unfortunate. It also was served at room temperature, because it was made from scratch, would think it be warmer to hot. The waffle was savory and had good mix and topped with the pecans made it even better. If you're on this side of town and want a change up from the "other breakfast diners" DOT would be where I stop. Fast, friendly service. Depending the food you get, it gets the job done for some sustenance to hold you over when you're not sure when your next meal is because you'll be in Galveston for 7 hours riding a float in the Mardi Gras parade.

I wanted to start with one biscuit, but the biscuits come in pairs. The waitress said I could order just one anyway, but the order ended up being two. I meant to save the second one for breakfast, but that was not to be. It did not survive long enough to make it out the door. My actual meal was a bacon swiss and mushroom burger, which was excellent. Between the biscuits and the burger, I am forced to acknowledge that it was entirely too much food. Sadly, that did not prevent me from eating all of it anyway. Delicious! The restaurant, which is a diner with very basic decor, is on an approach road to IAH, and is open 24/7. When I arrived in the evening, the place was empty. By the time I left, there were a whole bunch of customers. I noticed in other reviews that people were saying they did not receive checks for their meal and felt they were over-charged at the register. I did not receive a check either, but the amount I was charged at the register seemed accurate -- and I was paying attention because I had read the other reviews first.

Mr. Picky ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp while I opted for Veal Parmigiana, and we each stole a bite from the other's plate. We reached consensus immediately that both dishes were well-seasoned and quite delicious, meaning we would return for more good food in the future. Seriously, we hadn't expected much when walking in and looking around, but were pleasantly surprised at the kitchen's efforts. We finished lunch with an order of homemade bread pudding and tiramisu, the latter of which in 2012 won a chamber of commerce epicurean competition 1st place ribbon. I wasn't there to judge that competition and have had better, but sincerely appreciated the moistness of the bread pudding. While the majority of diners were older and a more mature crowd, there's a lot to be said for value, and we thought the menu price was better than reasonable and I think a lot of people will discover this as a value destination, something we all appreciate.
