I have eaten here a few times. Food is ok. Today I gave it another try. My daughter and I came in around 12 PM, no line. I ordered my food and coffee to go while my daughter ate her food there with friends. She got her food within 5 minutes. Yet, it took 30 minutes for me to get my to go order, including coffee. The 20 plus people that showed up after me got their food before me. So I should have just ordered my food to eat there and then put it in a to go box. Today was absolutely unacceptable. read more

HBB has been disappointing as of late with their delivery orders. I always get the hot mess, which is delicious -- not so much, when part of it is always missing. So freaking delicious! We live on the east side of Edmond and really don't get over to the west side much, but Hunny Bunny will make us frequent visitors of the area. Breakfast for 1 - first visit here. Nice newer venue, I like the tile leading to the counter to order. Having reviewed the menu on line, I ordered the Croque Madame and an order of Biscuits and Sausage Gravy. Ice water to drink. - already had enough coffee at home. The croque madame was SHORT on Mornay sauce, SHORT on Gruyère cheese, although the ham was juicy and flavorful, and the over-easy egg was as "HARD AS AN egg McMuffin. This needs work!! It had all the right ingredients l, just fell short on all counts! The Biscuits and Gravy (sausage gravy, not the Mushroom version) was thick and tasty with maybe some red pepper flakes added (a little zing!) This was by far the better choice. I'm more of a traditional country Sunday Breakfast guy - give me sausage, eggs and hash browns and I'll smile all the way to lunch. I'd go again, and order something different. read more

The service is excellent. Friendly staff. The cinnamon roll is ooey gooey and hot. However, the biscuits are thick and heavy. I got the bacon egg and cheese bicuit and was disappointed. The egg tasted great, the bacon was cooked perfectly and the biscuit was cold! The sandwich was not warm enough to melt the cheese. I may have set my expectations too high but when you call your self a biscuit company, you should serve HOT biscuits. If the biscuit were hot, maybe it would not seemed so thick and heavy. It's quiet and the staff is friendly. Coffee is good and so is the food. First time I went with the classic biscuit sandwich with bacon...delicious. 2nd time I had the Truck Stop and that was really good. My wife has had the Benny and that was good too. Didn't have the highest hopes for this breakfast spot...but the inviting exterior and beautifully contrasted interior blew my expectations away & was perfectly complimented with good southern hospitality. ALL of the employees were in assistance with a consistent smile on their face! I played it safe and ordered the bacon, egg and cheese biscuit and it was soooo yum! I also paired it with an iced caramel latte which was...(dare I say, as a coffee connoisseur) Starbucks level!!! My breakfast left me totally satisfied, the sunrise fruit bowl looked enjoyable as well! I'm a big fan!! Prices are fair for the service & quality received. Atmosphere is lovely! LOVE the food. We have been here a few times now and we absolutely enjoy our meals every time. My daughters split the Biscuit French Toast and the Sunrise Bowl and were super happy. My oldest would eat the French toast every day if allowed. I tried a Cannonball which was good too. Two challenges with this place that cause me to pause going. First, it really could benefit from some sound baffling throughout. It is simply far too loud to carry on a conversation at times, it was super frustrating. The other is minor, the tables near the coffee refill station are far too close so no one can get past you to get to the rest of the counter while you are filling your coffee cup. Make those two changes and it would greatly increase the pleasure of eating here. DO GIVE IT A Try though, maybe try sitting out on the patio if sound is important to you...
