Came by here for lunch the other day and it was outta this world good! Great service also! Thanks for a great meal!!!

Pho King Good Broth! From the very first spoonful to the last, the flavor hit just right. I had the Pho King Special, and everything in the bowl was spot-on -- tender meat, rich bone marrow, clean and balanced broth, and super fresh herbs. Nothing greasy or heavy, just pure comfort in a bowl. The service was excellent -- friendly, attentive, and fast without feeling rushed. The restaurant itself is spotless, bright, and welcoming. You can tell they care about both the food and the experience.

They made out order super quick. You can tell they use fresh ingredients because the herbs were crisp. I got a seafood pho and the seafood didn't taste fishy and had a great texture. The noodles were a little soft and broth lacked a little flavor, but still very good. Also, their Vietnamese coffee was strong and delicious.

Nice little place with pretty good customer service. Unfortunately, the food is decent at best. There are about 5 solid Vietnamese spots near our place in San Diego. This place needs to up their food game for sure. We got a good sized order to go. 3 pho's, a Bahn Mi, and some stir fried noodles. The lemongrass beef Banh Mi was a disappointing sandwich. The beef had a decent flavor but the veggies were weak. Normally, Banh Mi come with bold flavored pickled daikon and carrot. That gives a good compliment to any meat. This sandwich had a tiny amount, didn't even realize it was there. Lastly, it should be on a French baguette. It did seem to be a French bread thing but something just wasn't right. It seemed to be more like a hoggie bead or something. The pho Viet 101 Special and seafood pho were decent, nothing special. It comes with the broth separate from the rest so the noodles don't get soggy. The stir fry egg noodles with seafood didn't look great and the taste was just OK. Vietnamese coffee was delicious! To be honest, we probably won't be back. But it's a decent option.

The best veggie pho and fried shrimp! Clean and simple flavors. This is our favorite pho spot. Everything is delicious

3.5 stars but I'm holding off from giving them a 3. I want to give it another shot. Especially because the owner seems so nice. They have potential but a few things need to be changed... I'm so excited they brought sandwiches back. The owner doesn't speak English much so I couldn't really chat with him about it. But he did say the menu was new when I asked. The lemongrass beef had an authentic flavor according to hubs. However the bread was too dry. :( if they can get better bread maybe this would be a new staple. I'm on the mission to find my go to fresno Vietnamese sandwich that doesn't break the bank and still searching lol. The pho was good, soup wise. Meat was fine. Something about the noodles they used I didn't really like. It may have been because I got it to go so the noodles didn't cook the way I would've liked. They did package the to go bag very nicely and brought it outside to me and the restaurant looked super clean to my surprise. I can tell they've worked on it and there is new decor. It's next to Rare tea ;)

The food is lousy and so is the service. Side of sauce is 2.00 and it's the smallest of sauce I have ever seen.

Located in the Barnyard shopping center this Vietnamese restaurant is a little dated, but don't let the decor deter you. The food is in incredible! I ordered a large bowl with thin sliced meat balls along with spring rolls for the table. First off, I should've gotten a small bowl of pho, the large bowls here are massive. I had plenty of leftover for the next day and the day after! The broth was delicious with deep rich flavors and the noodles were slightly al dente, which I loved. I couldn't help myself and active point picked up my bowl and just started sipping the broth. My wife ordered the same thing as I, minus the meatballs and she too, could not get over how much flavor the broth had, almost like they had been slow cooking this for the past three days straight. The spring rolls were 100% handmade and the filling inside was delicious. We did bring our kids with us and we're definitely nervous because they are very picky eaters. They do offer a kids menu, but there isn't much to it. It's basically rice broth and your choice of meat. We ordered my 4-year-old daughter a small bowl of rice with broth and chicken; she loved this and kept asking for more! My son (7) went big and ordered pho with squid... he inhaled everything! Even asking if we could order more squid on the side to which we did and he ate that as well. This was huge win for mom and dad, now we can do pho to the family dining out rotation. This is a family own restaurant and the staff here is incredibly friendly and helpful. Branden, our server, help to answer any questions and was very attentive to make sure we had everything we needed!

I love the peacefulness of the interior, the quick ordering process to receiving of food, and I love the flavor of the different broths I have tried. The reason for 3 stars: We have been here a few times, and were told by a server that seating was self-serve. We have practiced this each time coming in, but today after sitting at the only clean table(with some to be cleared off) a couple came over to the empty table and stared at us pretty weirdly before a server rushed over and told us to move because its for them. Not sure what happened before us coming in, but that energy was incredibly off putting. I hope we feel comfortable enough to come back.

You can taste the depth, richness, and care that goes into it. It's incredibly flavorful without being overpowering, comforting without feeling heavy, and perfectly balanced every single time. Seriously, this is the kind of pho you crave constantly after trying it once. Their pork belly banh mi is honestly my favorite in the world!!! The pork belly is perfectly tender with just the right amount of crispiness, the bread is fresh and crunchy, and all the flavors come together perfectly. I've tried banh mi from so many places and nothing compares to this one. The dipping sauce ! Are you kidding me?!! And the ban xeo? Absolutely to die for. Crispy, savory, packed with flavor, and paired with fresh herbs and dipping sauce that take it to another level. Every bite is perfection. On top of the incredible food, the atmosphere is modern, welcoming, and comfortable. The staff is always friendly, attentive, and genuinely makes you feel taken care of. The owner walks around and greets all the guests, like who does that! They make you feel like family. They also have a full bar, which is such a great bonus, and their lychee drink is my personal favorite! It's refreshing, delicious, and the perfect pairing with the meal. Phoever is easily one of my favorite restaurants in the Fresno area and I recommend it to everyone I know.

Noticed a fellow yelper and old friend who made a stop here as well a few yrs ago. So cant say no to that! Food was delicious and authentic! It is limited to what Im used to but completely understands due to the area and preferences of the community. Most important is the main items are good. Let say it was good enough I wished I had more. Almost ordered for seconds! Got #1 plus bone marrow and #41 pork chop with eggs rice plate. Then topped it off with Vietnamese coffee for the long drive home. I barely drank half and feel the jitters already so drink in sips, people! Then again I recently cut back on coffee which doesn't help but you have been warned if you don't drink coffee routinely. What stood out extra was the amazing customer service. My memory is shot. I don't want to be handing out 5 stars so easily but I think they deserve it. The restaurant is very clean, and I love the little Asian lanterns they have, all different, above each table. Plenty of seating. When we got there (a little after 5), there was only one other table occupied... by the time we left (6:30), every table was nearly taken. Our waitress, as well as the other on the floor, were both very welcoming and friendly. They handled the service remarkably as a team. The fact that they were a packed house and still were very attentive with us, checking how we're doing, checking on our water refills... these are the little things I appreciate most (and, of course, good food). I got the Pho with the Fatty Brisket, my friend got just the Steak Pho. They have a bar against the wall with all garnishes you may need to grab what you'd like. This is pretty smart... It saves them from waste. Instead of giving people items they may not use-- they would just grab what they'd like themselves. My friend grabbed her goodies, I prefer mine as is. To me, if your broth is good and doesn't require me to flavor it... I'll eat it just like that (unless I feel like adding spice). I've only ever been to a few other Pho places where I had to season up the broth myself...definite no no for them. All my friends who have gone out to eat Pho with me know I eat it just how I get it. Pho from my Mama is a different story though... I put the works (not because it's not flavorful) but, it's just different. Moving on... They also have a Teazona in their establishment. I've tried a few different drinks in the past but came to regularly deciding on the Tiramisu Milk Tea (no flan for me, light boba). Make sure to shake it well. You can also let them know your preference on the level of sweetness. We both got this tonight and it nearly tipped me over on the full scale. Couldn't finish it. Everything was really good though. Pho was the perfect choice for this weird, gloomy weather we've been having. The price is a bit up there but that seems to be the norm everywhere nowadays. But-- for the portion, the quality, and the service? Worth it.
