We went to a record fair recently and stopped Hurricane Grill & Wings in Neptune Beach afterward, which is probably our favorite Hurricane location. They're located at 628-6 Atlantic Blvd. We started Old Bay Kettle Chips & Queso, which is a go-to for us. It's exactly what it sounds like by the name. Just a solid appetizer with more than enough to share between several people. I had the Mushroom Swiss Burger with fries but the burger patty was so big, I barely touched the fries. I liked the burger and was surprised that the bun held up. Sometimes mushroom & swiss is more of a mess than it's worth but this held together well. Lauren had 5 Boneless Wings. She is in a hot honey phase right now so she got that sauce and liked it a lot! I'm a bone-in wings person but she prefers boneless and she likes theirs a lot, so she was happy. Like I said, we like this location a lot. The first reason is they have a dog friendly patio followed by the service always being good. Feeling like I needed some wings in my life, we ordered 2 10 pc wings via UberEats. He got the boneless variety with the Boss (tangy garlic parm blend). Fire and Ice (buffalo, horseradish). I got the GridIron wings (crispy skinned from Cajun and jerk seasonings and caramelized). These were really good and I'd get them again. read more

We stopped over there the other night to watch the WBC US v Canada - hadn't been in a few months and it looks like new ownership. Asked multiple members of staff if they showed the game and where we could sit to watch it. They didn't know what baseball was but they got the remote to try and help - couldn't find Fox to show the game. They were more interested in making us sit and order, didn't understand the game was the priority so we left. Prices looked like they went up and we didn't recognize a single face. Not sure we'll be going back with service like that - very sad :( read more

A super cute little bar. The inside is not the biggest so I can imagine it getting busy, and there was some outdoor seating. Tons of regulars here, it seemed like everyone sitting at the bar knew each other. They have daily deals and tons of food and drink options. Well I had lunch here today with my husband. We had the tacos lunch special 3 tacos for $10. We ordered the steak and avocado tacos. They were delicious! Our server destiny was amazing! The reason I did not give a five star review is because we probably heard the F bomb from the bartender while we were eating lunch at least 40 times plus other curse words. read more

Tiffany Tuesdays is the best! She should have been begged to stay on all week. She fills the bar, always gets our complicated order correct and entertains all of us as well. The customer service received from Piper was exceptional. She also made our Shirley temples which were the best I've ever tasted. We got the Perfect Storm which was so good my partner almost missed it. We sat outside since we just left the beach which was perfect. Plenty of tables which also had heat lamps beside the table for cold days. read more

This place is honestly a hit or miss. And I don't mean that in a bad way. Some days you have AMAZING service, delicious food and yummy drinks! Flavors all on point! On another day, you'll get mediocre food with ingredients missing (like how do you serve me a chimichurri steak without the chimichurri and THEN tell me you ran out of the sauce?! The point of the dish is IN the name! Hahaha) and the drinks were all juice (too sweet or sour) or just totally watered down. But, I'm not mad at them. Everyone has off days. Hopefully, more good than bad. And this place has that. I don't care what other people say, I like them. Close to home. Chill environment. Not bad! Down on vacation I ate here with my family. I ordered some fish and chips and margaritas. The drinks were tasty and not too strong. The fish was a good size and very crispy and not too greasy. Everything came out pretty quick too. The service from our waitresses was great! We checked on regularly and she was funny with a great personality too! A bit sarcastic but it was the good kind of sarcasm that made for a good time. The restaurant clean and has a good vibe to it. It was a little loud at first and we were initially seated near a rowdy group but happily reseated upon request and the five of us had a great time and meal. read more

Food was amazing! My lunch special burger was too much to eat. . Broccoli and street corn was delicious . Our server from Vegas (Desiree) was funny and helpful. I'd post pictures of their food, but we ate it all. Only negative that I could say is that the portion of the fried pickles was small. Definitely a place to visit. And we will definitely be back!!!! Been here twice already within 3 days. Their customer service was great, as soon as I enter their establishment. The first visit was a large family order. They got everything right! The second visit was just as good! Both times, they provided good customer service. They answered any questions we had. The manager checked on me while they prepared the orders and after. The food was good and it was plenty. The orders included wings, tenders, fries, salads and beverages. I will definitely visit them again, when I come back next year. read more

For 10 + years Hurricanes (this location) has been messing up orders. Went today after having not been in a year. Luckily I remembered to check my takeout order before I left. Ordered a pretzel appetizer with beer cheese, entree salad with extra dressing, and chicken tenders with 2 sauces for myself & a friend to share. Opened the pan the pretzel came in and sauce the container cup of cheese in the middle... but no other sauce or salad dressing anywhere in the bag. Went back inside & waited a bit for the to-go server to come back. She apologized sent someone else in the kitchen to grab the missing sauces (I handed them the receipt). Then a few minutes later she came out with the sauces for the chicken tenders and 1 salad dressing. I did ask for the second salad dressing which she went back & got. I get home, open my order and apparently I should have looked closer at my order. The pretzel was missing the beer cheese dip, the cup that I thought was the cheese was my salad dressing in with the pretzel appetizer. If this was a first time or every once in a while thing I wouldn't care. But the only consistent thing about this place is how often they f up. Even having dined in before, I have often been given the wrong sides, etc. People who work there are nice, but more is needed than just "nice". read more

We had a really fun time here after work on Friday! Our waitress was so quick, friendly, and helpful. All of the staff was working well as a team and the manager was really funny! My friend and I split the nachos and they were delicious! My son got the kids boneless wings and loved them! I got my husband wings Togo. Chicken wings are my favorite food and I've had them almost everywhere. These wings were some of the best I've ever had! We split the garlic Parmesan Hot and lemon pepper. I will say the garlic parm were very good but the garlic was a tad bit strong for me it lingered on my mouth after brushing my teeth twice lol. (Nothing wrong with that. Just not for me) They were crispy, good size, and on special 20 for $20. I also had the Cabernet and it was $4. GREAT pricing. The staff at this location really make this bar/restaurant. Cierah, our favorite bartender, knows everyone by name and you never have to wait on a drink. The variety of sauces for the wings is off the charts. The Parmesan fries are to die for so I always opt for those! Great addition to Atlantic Beach. When I pointed this out to the cashier, a kitchen worker named "Anthony" began screaming aggressive insults from the back, shouting that "people are always looking for free food"--even though my transaction was already completed. The situation escalated dramatically when a second worker wearing a ski mask came out of the kitchen to physically interject himself into the conflict. I felt so unsafe and threatened by their hostile behavior that I abandoned the counter immediately, leaving behind a $5.00 partial cash tip I had already laid down because I didn't want to risk reaching back over the counter. Deplorable customer service, hidden credit card upcharges, and a genuinely dangerous environment. Management needs to answer for this immediately.

iv been going to Hurricans for 11 years because I know what to expect every time I go which is usually onc or twice a week. one of the only reasons I go is because the customer service from Tiffany at the bar. she's kind, funny and an all round genuine person. she managing the restaurant a lot of the time but still keeps my glass full and prompt with my orders. I was brought here for the first time in 2021 by those I work with when I started a new job. I now look forward to coming here on Thursdays for lunch, they do burgers to order and the service is amazing. Tiffany is great, she always gets the order correct and I'm never waiting for a refill. We have been coming here for several years for lunch on Thursdays. Generally 7 to 12 people at a time. Like clock work Tiffany takes care of everything.
