We made a decision to stop for lunch at Hush while running errands, because I had it bookmarked and it has such good reviews. Those reviews are accurate. It was a very good decision to have lunch here. Tong was our waiter. He was wonderful. We hope we have the pleasure of having him as our waiter again. The Gyoza was delicious as our appetizer. My husband had the sushi lunch special and got the California and Spicy Tuna rolls which were both very good. So we could also try the hibachi, I got the chicken teriyaki lunch special. It was delicious. I loved that there were green beans included. The only thing that could have made it even better was mushrooms. The sauce was yummy. It was lunch so my husband did not have an alcoholic drink and I had a light cocktail. The Panty Hoes cocktail was delicious, light and refreshing. So I want to start off with the atmosphere of the place . It was great but my fear is the prices were over the top compared to other local sushi sites in the ft worth area . My wife and I went to a birthday event in the back . The service was great and professional but at the end when discussion of getting the check we were told about splitting the check of the whole group more than four it would cause issue with the restaurant . Hush is a nice sushi spot. I agree with the majority the decor is nice, we went for dinner and it's a dark restaurant in a good, keep your voice down, kinda way. We were seated quickly and our server was great. Parking is a mess. The parking lot wraps around the building in an L shape but the L bend is also a dead end so I'd avoid going back there as you will certainly deal with having to backup and getting stuck should someone be on your heals. Ok so for the food, I'm mixed here. Some was worth the money but other items I'd definitely skip. The calamari appetizer wasn't the best I've had, the onions and light breading is nice but it's nothing special, I'd skip next time. The sushi rolls are good, really nice fish, fresh ginger and ingredients. The sushi rolls are priced just right and I'd return to try something else. The side soups, we ordered miso and a beef broth but they weren't great, although they we're served hot like a soup should be. I'd skip the soups and save your money for the entire. Lastly, while the drinks are good, they are small. My cocktail was $16 before tax/tip so your paying $20 for 6-8 oz of liquid. $20 adds to the bill quickly. I didn't see a happy hour and if it doesn't exist Is highly encourage for patrons to try these pricey cocktails at an affordable rate. So yes, nice place for sushi rolls, I'll return to try another entree but will skip the extra sides and hope for a drink special next trip. read more

This is a bit more unique than your standard Japanese restaurant. If you're a foodie, or just bored of Keller's usual offerings, want to try something new, and are interested in Japanese or Asian inspired food then this is an absolute must! Keller is very lucky to have Hush. The owners are geniuses to open their restaurant here, because the town has been ready for something new and exciting like this. The decor/ambiance is very on trend, modern, classy, and sexy. Perfect for a date, business lunch/dinner, special occasion, etc. However, it's not overly fancy, and I'd still feel comfortable taking my kids/toddler here. They even have a kids menu, and a diaper changing table in the restrooms! So, bonus for being family friendly. We came here for lunch on a weekday. The parking lot was full! We had to circle around a few times to find a spot. Service was very welcoming and friendly. I get the vibe that most staff are still pretty new. Maybe even still training. But I have no complaints, and everything was excellent. The sushi is legit! We are transplants from bigger cities (LA, SF, NY, etc). We've had our share of sushi around the world. Hush sushi chefs are absolutely legit. The menu also offers several unique maki I have never heard of. Whoever designed the menu must have had a lot of fun with it, you can see the creativity, and hard work they put into it. This is definitely something to be appreciated. The bar is stunning! I'm not much of a drinker or bar patron, but that bar is calling me. I've already decided that for my next visit I want to sit either at the bar or sushi bar. Whoever designed the space did an amazing job. Lots of different styled tables to choose from. Some booths, some smaller more intimate tables, larger tables, some window seats with a view, bar height tables, and even patio dining! It's obvious a lot of work went into the finer details of this restaurant. Not something you see often in Keller. Try the bao bao! It's a steamed bun with delicious pork belly, hoisin sauce and scallions. Very similar to what the Chinese traditionally serve as 'Peking duck', but this variation has pork belly instead. I also just want to add that no one from Hush asked me to write this review. My review is 100% genuine. Definitely my favorite restaurant in Keller, and probably Southlake too. read more
