I've been to Truck Yard before, but this time it was way more fun, prolly as the World Cup is going on and the vibe just felt different. I already love this place because I can bring my dogs, and that's always a big plus for me. I just wish their dog park was a little bigger and maybe had a few more things in there. I just want the best for my dogs. Other than that, everything was nice. The drinks were really good and they have so many different options to choose from. The staff working there were also really nice, especially the one helping us out. I forgot to catch his name, but you'll probably spot him in one of the pictures. He was super sweet and helped us decide what drinks to get. All of my dogs really enjoyed it too. I didn't ask, but I do wish they had some kind of dog menu so they could enjoy something too. They do have cold water for the dogs though, which was really nice. It was pretty hot when we went, but they had fans going all around, and if you want, they also have indoor seating. I always enjoy myself when I've been with friends but this night I was alone! It was a decent night grabbed some food from a food truck from New Orleans, it wasn't my favorite. It's a wonderful day to celebrate life and the Truck Yard is the perfect place to start any birthday festivities. While we were waiting for our dog to get her dental cleaning at Banfield we went to Truck Yard. Perfect choice I selected the Philly Cheesesteak with a cold Blood and Honey Beer and wife selected a Steak Quesadillas and a happy hour special, yes Happy Hour starts at 12 - 7pm. The food truck servers were polite and kind and the food a chef kiss. Now the bartender Batman definitely knows how to make a drink and pour a proper shoot. I already was served 1 drink, but when I went up to the bar for my second the manager insisted my valid Colorado ID was fake! Was informed that because they were showing the FIFA game, 18% gratuity was already added to our check. I was a bit disappointed, should have been told this right away. We went for the hula festival and it was packed! We have been to the colony one and is way bigger and better. This location did not have the old junk trucks etc is just regular tables and picking tables. We ate pretty good food a bit overpriced like always but as expected. I had a coconut and the amount of drink for the prices was laughable it was more for the experience and the souvenir. Bathrooms were clean even tho with the amount of people there. I decided to meet up with some girlfriends here on a Tuesday night. We arrived 15 minutes before happy hour ended. There were so many choices to select from. Unforgettable music, forgettable everything else. Stopped into Truck Yard Fort Worth on a random evening and unexpectedly had one of the best live music experiences in recent memory. A Nashville recording artist named Justin Myers was performing, and he had the crowd singing in unison within minutes. Our group of 14 was completely hooked after his first set, we asked him to come over and say hi, and he actually did. Genuine guy with real talent. He absolutely made the night for all of us. If you ever get the chance to catch him around the Metroplex, do not miss it. Now, for the not-so-great parts... The bar service was slow and rude, which is frustrating when you're trying to keep the good vibes going. When we finally got our drinks, they were watered down and overly sweet, tasting more like cheap Kool-Aid than anything you'd expect from a $12 cocktail. As for the food trucks, they were overpriced and served sub-par food, definitely not worth the wait or the cost. Insider tip: Eat before you arrive, bring your own drinks (if you can), and go for the music, not the food or the service. Truck Yard has potential, it's a fun atmosphere with live music, outdoor seating, and room for a good time. Without artists like Justin Myers, this night would've been a bust. There's lots of pros and few cons about the Truck Yard Cons (like aforementioned) the eating or sitting outside is the bottom of my summer things to do list considering summer's sweltering temps. We've been threatening to hang out at Truck Yard since we moved to Fort Worth three years ago. We finally made it - AND I'M SO MAD WE WAITED SO LONG! The vibe is perfect! Casual outdoor seating (lawn chairs and Adirondacks), some shaded and some not, perfectly selected 'junk' (an old VW bug, vintage Ferris wheel, air stream camper, etc) and open air dining was beyond perfect. We didn't use it, but the bar actually has indoor, covered seating if needed. Because it was lunch, it was easy to grab our food and find a seat, but every table had a QR code from which you could order if the lines were too long. There are a few different live music venue options - and I can only imagine how that place is hopping on weekend evenings. They even have a small dog park included for the fur babies. Can't wait to go back! And let me be clear, I'd go back either way for Secret Agent BBQ. Families had children with them who appeared to really enjoy the yard games. We had a group of 9 people and 3 dogs who were easily accommodated around a covered picnic table. There was a stage area where live music would soon be played. You have the option to have food and drinks delivered to your table by ordered off a code at your table. There are additional food trucks where you can order the items directly. Bathrooms were clean and spacious. It is very loud. Lots of families with kids running around, dogs parking and music being played through speakers. We would definitely return. read more

Pros: the vibe/look is awesome, the Ferris wheel (my daughter LOVES it), the drinks, the staff (SUPER friendly and get great service), pet friendly (only dog friendly bar in alliance), happy hour, the musicians (always great) Cons (in this order): 1.) even inside it's unbearably hot in the summer (I'd be there 3x more if you could at least be cool inside - my wife basically refuses to go) 2.) food trucks - over priced and food sucks. This was an unacceptable failure in basic guest comfort and decision-making. Wind gusts dropped to roughly 39°F, yet staff repeatedly refused to close the cold-weather awnings after multiple polite requests. The explanation given that the system "couldn't handle the wind" is deeply concerning. If awnings advertised and installed for cold weather cannot be safely used in windy conditions, that is a serious operational and safety issue that should be addressed before guests are seated underneath them. Instead, customers were left exposed, freezing, and ignored. What made this worse was not the weather, but the complete lack of accountability or alternative solutions. No effort to relocate guests, no escalation to management, just repeated refusal. This reflects poor planning and even worse customer care. Management should take this seriously. I would expect someone to reach out, because this experience alone is enough to keep us and others from returning. read more

When a friend flew in to visit and wanted places with live music to go to, of course the Truck Yard was first in the list. There is seating. Under cover in the bar area (pole like building), but most of the seating is out doors on both sides of the building. On one, the seating yard offers truck bed sitting, swing bench and table sitting, lawn chair sitting around fire pits, sitting around round barrel style tables, and one covered picnic bench/table sitting. The yard is lined with variety food trucks. There is a stage for live music in the yard that is a converted airstream trailer. There is also another covered live music stage at the end of the bar structure. There is also another covered ferris wheel that sets behind the stage. The other yard also offers similar sitting and at least one food trucks, but has several outdoor games to play, such as cornhole. Going for live music, we sat in the yard with the stage. You can order drinks at the bar or by app that you scan at your table. You order food directly with food trucks. I decided to try Distrito Taco truck this time. Man oh man! Great choice. All fresh and homemade foods. We had the Nachos... so good! Layered with homemade, perfectly seasoned refried pinto beans. Thin beef strips, perfectly seasoned, tender, and didn't bite into any gristle. Fresh pico de gallo. Cheese. Sliced jalapeños. We also had their street tacos. One of the most simplest tacos, but my favorite. Freshly made corn tortillas. Light and perfect seasoned chicken with cilantro. The Verda sauce was medium heat, one of my favorite sauces. As good as the street tacos are, the nachos are definitely my over all favorite. One person in our group got a steak quesadilla from another food trucks... the pink one, didn't get the name. It is in the shape of a heart. He loved it! With our food, we had drinks and listened to a one man band and then a four man band. Enjoyed both so much. Talented artist. Great staff -- truly. Everyone was dialed in and ready to help, and I don't think I waited more than two minutes for a drink all night. Big props there. The outdoor area is also a winner: gas fire pits, great vibe, really well done. But... no Titos. In Fort Worth. That's insane. You'd think the place was run out of LA with that kind of decision. Then came the real problem: a fight broke out, and the response was rough. We had kids and family with us, it was early in the evening, and the whole thing turned into an awkward spectacle. The staff just stood around with no plan, no direction, and no urgency. It dragged on way too long and totally tanked the experience. We hosted my son's birthday party at Truck Yard and it was absolutely fantastic! The entire event staff was incredibly accommodating from start to finish. They even helped us move to a different spot that worked better for the games we had planned for the kids, which made a huge difference for the flow of the party. I also loved that they allowed us to decorate the space so it really felt like a special celebration for him. The team was kind, professional, and genuinely helpful the entire time. What made it even better was how perfect the venue is for a party with both kids and parents. The kids had plenty of space to run around and play while the adults could relax and enjoy the atmosphere. It truly ended up being a fun event for everyone who came. During our trip to Texas we went to a few areas that were recommended by other people both local or prior visitors to Texas and this was one from the locals and it was a winner, great place to come and just hangout with friends or even unwind after a long day! They have a bar area and lunch trucks inside the fenced in area! We tried the SOKAH food truck and it didn't disappoint at all, we had the Jerk burger, doubles ( a Trinidad street food) jerk roti tacos and asked the cook to try something new and he made me a Goat curry tacos that was amazing! Definitely recommend and will for sure return for the food and overall service, environment, and friendly people in Texas read more

I really enjoyed the large outdoor seating area, and the variety of drinks they offer. however, as this place grows in popularity, i feel as if its growing victim of its own success. I'm stoked this place is so close to home. Great vibes, good food, and dog friendly! Here are the deets: There's plenty of parking. You can park in the large gravel parking lot, or on the side of the place. I love the sitting space. You have the option of sitting inside, or enjoying the beautiful weather with their numerous dining table benches and chairs around wooden tables. Each table has a QR code for you to easily scan the menu and order drinks. We brought our furry friends, and they were very happy to explore the new environment. They have a mini dog park with poop bags on site. Outside the dog park where people are hanging out, you can find dog bowls to fill up water for your pups. We really appreciated a nice worker, giving our boys some treats to make their day. Many young children were very excited to say hi to our fur babies as well. Of course, we're getting to the food part. Remember to check the food truck schedule online. They have different food trucks rotating day to day. I love the variety of food available. This place... c'mon now... I cannot believe how much fun this place is! Talk about "all that ya need" in one place. First, let's talk the bar area. Fun and festive inside, where you can have some locally made whiskeys and enjoy some incredible combination drinks! The Honey Cinnamon whiskey is perfect, love the Coconut Rum, but our favorite is the frozen drink in a cowboy boot. I think it's called the BBC (Bananas Baileys Colada). All I'm hearing right now is Gwen Stefani busting out " B-a-n-a-n-a-s" The outdoor vibe and atmosphere is unreal! Family, kid, and pet friendly for starters, and then all of the various seating arrangements placed throughout the yard. Fire pits line the interior edge, and some scattered covered areas, open seatings, and this kick ass concept of truck beds turned into outdoor bench style seating areas. Love it! There are some Air streams that are made into stages for live music, and a rail car for the same thing. Music has always been great every time! What is super unique are the food trucks that line the outside edge of the yard. You have different selections of food, and man they don't disappoint! Love it! We've had so much fun there, and judging by the looks on everyone else's faces, I'd say we ain't the only ones who love this place!
