I've now been to all truck yards in DFW area and i would say this one is a close #1/#2 dependent. They have a lot of food trucks a very large bar and they do live music still which is great. The food i had was delicious and they have multiple bars with full bar service.

Although, I did not try the food there. This place is a nice place to chill and hangout. The scenery is very cool. I like how they have the place setup, the bathrooms were cool! They had a lot of fun stuff, and arts. Definitely a great place to hangout for some live music, fun, and drinks. Bartenders were great very attentive and easy to get a drink! I enjoyed it!

It's a wonderful day to celebrate life and the Truck Yard is the perfect place to start any birthday festivities. While we were waiting for our dog to get her dental cleaning at Banfield we went to Truck Yard. Perfect choice I selected the Philly Cheesesteak with a cold Blood and Honey Beer and wife selected a Steak Quesadillas and a happy hour special, yes Happy Hour starts at 12 - 7pm. The food truck servers were polite and kind and the food a chef kiss. Now the bartender Batman definitely knows how to make a drink and pour a proper shoot. This was a great way to start the afternoon. Oh the ambiance is fun and relaxing with tunes playing while you eat.

We went for the hula festival and it was packed! We have been to the colony one and is way bigger and better. This location did not have the old junk trucks etc is just regular tables and picking tables. We ate pretty good food a bit overpriced like always but as expected. I had a coconut and the amount of drink for the prices was laughable it was more for the experience and the souvenir. Bathrooms were clean even tho with the amount of people there. The great thing about this location is that they have a nice area for the dogs.

I enjoyed my visit to Truck Yard on a Friday night. There was a good assortment of Food Trucks, there was live music and there were so many activities to keep the kids entertained. I think that this is a great concept. I received wonderful customer service from all of the food trucks that I made a purchase from.

Omg you need to try this food truck. Kimora's the Mac and cheese is one of the best we've ever had

I decided to meet up with some girlfriends here on a Tuesday night. We arrived 15 minutes before happy hour ended. There were so many choices to select from. Thankfully, we were able to sample a few cocktails. My friend chose the Texas Mule, and I opted for the Margarita. Both drinks were delicious! $10 for a large cup? Thanks! We'll take two each. After one, I was feeling gooooooood. It was my first time at this location, so I assumed there would be more food trucks, but there are only two. None of them looked interesting to me, so no review for the food portion. The atmosphere is amazing. Sitting next to the campfire, listening to live music, sipping on a drink, and enjoying great company... what a way to end a long day! There's plenty of seating indoors and outdoors for both large and small groups. The service overall was mediocre. I felt like the bartender wasn't very friendly, or maybe it has been a long day for her. Oh well. I would definitely come back to unwind again.

Happy hour here is great and they let you sample the items they have on tap! All the drinks are yummy!

We've been threatening to hang out at Truck Yard since we moved to Fort Worth three years ago. We finally made it - AND I'M SO MAD WE WAITED SO LONG! The vibe is perfect! Casual outdoor seating (lawn chairs and Adirondacks), some shaded and some not, perfectly selected 'junk' (an old VW bug, vintage Ferris wheel, air stream camper, etc) and open air dining was beyond perfect. We didn't use it, but the bar actually has indoor, covered seating if needed. Because it was lunch, it was easy to grab our food and find a seat, but every table had a QR code from which you could order if the lines were too long. There are a few different live music venue options - and I can only imagine how that place is hopping on weekend evenings. They even have a small dog park included for the fur babies. Can't wait to go back! And let me be clear, I'd go back either way for Secret Agent BBQ. My goal is to go back at night, go back and try every single truck before the weather gets to hot, go back and take my dog. My goal is to JUST GO BACK!

I ordered the grilled salmon with the chard broccoli, coconut rice, and I added aside of the zucchini and squash. For the positives - the hostess and the bartender who took my order were both very professional and friendly. The bartender answered some questions that I had about the menu and she made some suggestions (the coconut rice being one of them). The restaurant is very clean, bright and open. Casual and welcoming ambience. The turnaround time for my food from being placed to receiving it was very quick. I was probably at the very beginning of what their dinner rush would be so that probably had something to do with it as well. Unfortunately, the quality of food I received was far less than what I had expected. I had asked for the salmon to be cooked well done and with salt and pepper only, not their seasoning blend. The temperature and texture of the salmon was good, but not only did they use their special house blend seasoning. It was so oversalted that it became an edible. I was able to scrape out a few pieces in between the chard top and bottom, but I had to throw the majority of it away. It was literally like eating a block of salt. The salmon at Luna Grill is 1000 times better cooked than what I had at this restaurant tonight. The coconut rice, while it smelled delicious, was severely undercooked - the first bite I took had raw rice pieces. Rice should not be crunchy. Had to throw that out. The zucchini and squash were OK but again on the over salted side. I was able to eat some of it but the rest also I had to throw out. The only item that I ordered - the charred broccoli - was cooked well and was seasoned properly. It's a little frustrating to spend 35 $40 on a meal only to have to throw 80% of it away because it's an edible. Extremely disappointed and will most likely not return.

Ethan was our server and we had lots of questions and he answered a lot of questions we had about the sauces and he answered them well. I had the tony's steak meatball with the Parmesan cream sauce and gnocchi and it was to DIE for. I also would like to try basil pesto or vodka sauce but the cream sauce was so insanely good with the pillowy gnocchi that I just don't think I could bear to not get it every time. I definitely would try the sausage meatballs, which my husband got and they were good. The steak meatballs were good but I really like steak-- I think it needs to be your thing. First thing we were told was that the Nonna's garlic bread was not available. Disappointing but we moved on. Ordered 2 of the Pentolino (Little Pot) meatball samplers. One with marinara one with bolognese. They weren't dry but they were all just okay. Mid at best. I also did not care for the bolognese. The Cibatta bread that came was also too charred for us. It had a strong charcoal taste that we didn't care for. They also no longer serve sliced steak. You can only get the meatballs. 4 of us ordered the Tony's steak meatball, truffle mushroom sauce with Gnocchi. We ordered it because that's what my son was raving about. I don't know what happened between visits but he took his bite first, made a face and apologized to us. Then I took a bite. First of all, the truffle flavor was waaaaay too much and tasted artificial (like commercially prepared truffle oil). But the biggest disappointment was the Gnocchi. I would bet a kidney that there was absolutely zero potato in that dense chewy "dumpling " whatsoever. It was hands down the worst Gnocchi I have ever eaten. It tasted and looked like folded over pappardelle with the consistency of super dense pasta. It was so bad my daughter in law asked for something different and I just didn't eat mine. Eventually she got the chicken parm meatball with spaghetti. We all tried a bite. Again, it was okay but I've tasted better at chain restaurants. And I'm Italian so that's saying something. I don't know if we got them on an off day or what but after spending over $200 for 4 people for lunch, none of us will be returning.

First, major credit to Avery and Nancy, who were incredibly kind and patient considering we arrived fairly close to the end of lunch service before the restaurant closed for its afternoon break. We never felt rushed, which I really appreciated. I started lunch by ordering another cocktail (which may or may not have had me buzzing a little by this point) along with the 12 oz. prime rib steak served with buttery herb mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables, and chimichurri sauce. I'll admit, the steak was thinner than I expected for Texas (I sort of anticipated a Flintstones-sized slab of beef) but honestly? It was fantastic. Juicy, flavorful, melt-in-your-mouth tender and cooked perfectly! The mashed potatoes were rich and even the vegetables were great! My dining companions ordered a bit lighter fare, I believe a salad and grilled cheese, but I was far too focused on my steak situation to pay close attention. I left absolutely stuffed and very, very, very happy about it. The atmosphere here is upscale without feeling pretentious. Between the Western inspired decor and the relaxed energy of the Stockyards area, it feels welcoming. Also worth noting: apparently bachelorette parties featuring men in cow-print overalls are welcome here too, so truly something for everyone. Great service, great food, and a really enjoyable dining experience overall. I'd happily come back the next time I find myself in Fort Worth!
