    Fried rice
    Adam C.

Food tasted fine but the problem is price point and quality control. When you order side of fried rice you expect it to have egg and vegetables.. 3 orders and all ours it was pretty much nonexistent. It was pretty much just rice. Pay 13 dollars for a side of shrimp. Get lucky if you have 6 pieces. This was pretty much the experience for all our orders. 3x side rice 3x side shrimp

    Love Boat for 2 (delivered)

Ordered a celebratory platter from here three times. The Love Boat for 2 (12 pcs. sushi, 15 pcs. sashimi, California roll and godzilla roll) and added on an unagi roll and Alaska roll. My husband does not really eat sushi so it was all for me! Two meals each time. This is not high end sushi nor do i expect it to be. But I was still pretty impressed with the quality each time. Good portions, good cuts, flavorful sushi rice. When I want to splurge and celebrate, it's a pretty great way to do it.

My husband and I tried this place on a Friday night. The Hibachi was busy, but they were able to seat us right away. We were squeezed between two other parties. The service was good and our Hibachi Chef was very entertaining! The food was delicious and the portions were huge!

Came here with a party of 9. Wait wasn't bad at all for a Friday. The hostesses refused to seat our party until everyone arrived. The hostesses were extremely rude & didn't seem like they wanted to be there. The waiter was forgetful and brought the wrong drink, then didn't want to bring the correct one. Besides the waiters and waitresses, the chef was amazing. He was fun and overall made it a great experience. The food was great (a bit salty though) and we all enjoyed the meal. We all got the Hibachi dinners, received big portions. I got the filet mignon. The white sauce they give you to dip was AMAZING. It also came with a soup & salad. Soup wasn't very flavorful, not the best. Very small bowl of salad. Overall fun experience but don't know if I'd recommend or come back.

Lunch Special 3 Sushi Rolls $18.

I'm reviewing this local spot low relative to other reviewers. We came for sushi only, not hibachi, which may be where the shine. But, our experience was quite meh. The atmosphere feels quite dark and dated. The front is designed to block light from coming, lending a sort of dreary energy to the room. Hibachis are along the back of the store, just over the half wall from the booths where we sat and were quite loud. We ordered a few rolls from the lunch special, 3 rolls for $16. These were not the fancy rolls, so perhaps our expectations should have been lower, but they were dry, small, and not super interesting. Service was adequate but the server seemed a little distracted. Hibachi was hopping, so maybe that's where they give most of their attention. With respect to those who love it, we just didn't.

    Half filled miso soup

Portions were smaller than described when asked about in store for take out. Soup half filled. Sushi was simply okay.

Open parking lot Reflexology next door. Such a great date night or day lol I'm doing an Elle Geraway snack before I go get my feet rubbed . I get the miso soup, guyoza, and chardonnay. I call it my #MomSnack here. Everything under $10The service is always great and I sit at the bar like a grown up. I love the soup and I like the guyoza. No matter how I want them cooked, they o ly fry the top. So if u like dumplings, these are for you. The meal goes well together and the chardonnay just matches. I just had a baby a few months ago, so sometimes I run away and do this. But sometimes I bring the family too. we were here for hibachi for my bday . both my kids love it. And they do the cutest birthday show.

Looks good but this is what made me so sick

I came here on Christmas day as it was one of the very few places open on the holidays. I ordered a virgin mojito and it was disgusting. Pure lime juice. I sent it back bc there was no way any human could drink that. It was like as if the whole cup was just lime juice. I had the rest of my party try it and we all agreed. Food was cooked fairly fast. Hibachi are one of my fav things to do but not the after math of this experience. I came home with so much nausea, then i had violent vomitting with ended with my stomach burning so much, not that this was bad enough but it also caused me to be on the toilet the other half the night. The food was so good at the moment but it ruined the ending of my night. On top of that, i understand its Christmas and you are working but our chef kept offering us "free sake" only because he could use the excuse to take his own shot. In total ...he took 4 shots mid cooking and goes "shot for you! Shot for me" . He also made a comment to us and said that he worked 12 hours, no break, and no lunch. Why would you say that to us? We had a table with kids and that was unacceptable behavior . Not in front of your customers. This was just plain old awkward. Never again.

We have been looking for an good Hibachi grill in Northern Ft Worth. We found a really good one at Kyushu. I had the Filet & Scallops, grilled to perfection. The grilled vegetables were delicious and they serve you fried rice AND noodles!! Now this is a noisy fun place. For birthdays they bring out the drums and singers so if you are looking for a quiet romantic dinner, it ain't happening. Service was on point and our Master Chef was entertaining and a fantastic cook!! 5 Stars.

We met some fam at Kyushu's for an early supper. Big ol' parking lot with a boba tea place and an Asian store just a few doors down. Pro's: Lots of hibachi stations Get both noodles and rice Sushi roll portions are plentiful Hibachi portions are plentiful Chef's are friendly, funny, & cool Con's: Seating is way too close Fried rice was bland, food ok Prices were on the expensive side Push to upsell This place is pretty far out of my way but I might go back at some point. Any hibachi is always loud which isn't my fave but I knew that going in. I am a pretty heavy tea drinker and my glass was always kept full! I can't complain about too much here!

Food was ok, the rice in the sushi could be better. My sushi with my bento lunch was mushy. The steak was perfectly cooked and the soup and salad was a great start. Ambiance was great. Overall, service was great.

Okay hold the phone! I thought Japan House was crunk and the pimpest sushi place in the DFW area…read more(yes I still use 1999-2001 slang still) but there is a new baller in town. We went to Takara on a whim and it was the bomb diggity! Unlike other AYCE sushi restaurants that serve small portion appetizers, Takara is serving medium-large size appetizers that are much better quality than their competitors. I mean, a whole soft shell crab? Unagi Don with 4 huge eel steaks? A full 12 pieces of chicken karaage instead of a 3-4 piece serving? Who does that? Takara does that. Hamachi Kama (tuna collar) was unbelievable. The soups were great too. Oh and the takoyaki (my personal favorite) will knock your socks off. This being our first time at Takara, we were not prepared for the size and quality of the appetizers so we filled up on them before we could order much sushi. But we did order a few different nigiri, sashimi, hand rolls, and maki rolls. They were all very good but I feel like Takara's strength lies in their appetizer menu. We used to go out of our way to a different AYCE restaurant on our way home from the casinos in Oklahoma, but I think we found our new spot! The booths were large and comfortable. They have little cushions to sit on because the booths are hard wood with no padding. That was a nice touch. Our server was great but a little too apologetic. She kept apologizing even though we had no issues with the speed of service. We left a nice tip even though the robot server did a good portion of the work bringing us our orders. Like I said, we stumbled across a real gem right off of I-35 for a reasonable price and unexpected high quality of food and service. We will be back again soon!

The atmosphere was very clean and well maintained. I have two cons: They clean the tables themselves so a couple of tables still had plates on the when we arrived and when we left they still weren't picked up. The only other con was the menu is a little difficult to follow so you will probably have lots of questions while your ordering if your not familiar with this type of food. Normally, that kind of thing would make me swear off a restaurant, but since we'd never had an issue before, and because mistakes do happen, I decided to give them another chance. I'm glad I did. The food is genuinely good. The Hoshi Ramen and Chicken Fried Rice are my go-tos, and both always taste fresh and satisfying. The interior feels clean. An Izakaya only spot in my favorite part of town? Hell yeah!…read more Ichiro Izakaya Yakitori is a new entrant into the burgeoning South Main/Magnolia food renaissance. For the uninitiated, Izakaya a type of Japanese bar/restaurant that specializes in small dishes, usually grilled over hot coals. Here in Fort Worth, we have several great Ramen spots that also feature quite a bit of Izakaya type dishes, but Ichiro is unique in that is all they serve. Another bonus is that it is currently in the space of one of my previous favorite spots on South Main, Black Cat Pizza (RIP). Walking in, it is exactly what you would expect from an Izakaya place, a narrow, bustling, and fun atmosphere with the delicious sound of sizzling meats being cooked over hot coals emanating in the background. So what did we order? Well damn near everything. We started with some dumplings , then ordered some Hatsu, Yellowtail collar, pan-seared scallops, Negima (Duck breast), Beef Tongue, and split a few dishes of fried rice. I may have forgotten a few. I meant to take more pictures but we ended up devouring some of the dishes too quickly. Everything was great. The yellowtail collar is popular there and is a must order. My other two favorites were, surprisingly, the Negima and Beef tongue. Great thing about Izakaya is that you get to try so much, you get to expand your horizons a bit without having to take in too much so order to your heart's content and don't be shy. We are definitely going to be back to explore more of this delicious menu and this awesome atmosphere.
