Husky installed the electric wiring harness for the engine block heater on my 2020 Ram with Cummins 2500 diesel, October 2024. Ram had included the engine block heater installed in the truck when it was manufactured, but it was not prewired because i bought in a warm climate. Husky did a fantastic job in performing all the necessary work as promised on the date and time quoted, dud all work correctly, promptly and at the same price as quoted. They preordered and had the right parts on hand at the scheduled time of my appointment. The estimator, installer and work coordinator did excellent work and they are all friendly! I recommend Husky electric for vehicle electric service and parts. OS they were recommended by Commercial Tire in Meridian Idaho near the KOA who also are great for tires lubrication and oil changes. read more

Took our truck and trailer in because the electric brakes were not working. Charged us $950 and they still did not work. Took it back to them and told them to let me know what it was going to cost before they did more work. Had the truck a week and when we picked it up, the bill was $2600 additional. read more

I bought a car and the previous owner did a horrible job with the wiring for the lights. I went to 3 other shops and they couldn't help me. I didn't have headlights off and on for about 3 months. not worth the time. took car in told them I had a problem with a/c not working. had already fixed a/c condenser and told them I thought it was a wiring issue. 6 hours to fix a wire issue and over $700 labor cost. what ever happened to giving customers an estimate or calling before doing the job. old business out of date still hand written receipts but charging like the dealer shops. I won't ever be going back felt like I was robbed. read more

Huskey Auto Electric used to be my go to place for auto electric. We started using them when were farming years ago. They are probably still good as far as rebuilding alternators,and generators etc. Today I went out to start my pickup. The battery is dead. I took it in a while back and was charged a little over $100 and told my latch on my glove box is broken allowing my glove box light to stay on and that was draining my battery. New battery, new alternator, my battery is dead again. Wind back to March. I took my pick up in with my camper on it and asked them to install a battery, a battery isolator and a plug for the camper. I stated If it is going to cost over $550 to email me and gave them my email address. I told them I will be out of country and will not have phone service, make sure you annotate this on the work order I will be able to check my email daily and will contact them if they had questions. My directions were annotated on the work order, I checked with my own eyes that my email was on there. I returned home and called on my pickup and camper. I was told the total was $1116.00 I received no emails. They were very friendly and apologetic, but would not discount anything, or give me a break on the price. I will no longer send anyone to them for automotive electric work, and will never go to them for work. read more

These guys tried to charge me $500 for what should have been a 15 minute fix. Taking the dash off and re-aligning a heater knob that had fallen in. No parts needed, I just didn't want the hassle of taking the dash off again so I took it in to Husky. I was expecting a call with an estimate of $80-$120 at the max, but I never got a call at all - until they called and said it was ready to be picked up and my bill was $500 WTF? I would have NEVER approved that kind of baloney. I have taken the dash off myself and not knowing what I was doing it took me 45 minutes to get it off and back on. I filed a complaint with the BBB and they absolutely lied on the response and said they called and I approved. Lying SCAMMERS. read more

We have always appreciated their service. However, last time we scheduled service, our Jeep was left without any oil. We could not figure out why the oil light was coming on since it was not ready for an oil change. We assume when we took our Jeep in, they thought it was for an oil change and drained the oil and then realized it was not in for an oil change. The Mechanics did what was needed which we appreciate. If I remember correctly, around $800.00 worth of needed repair to pass DEQ. When I phoned, they let me know they did not have anything to do with the oil, and would no take any responsibility. My husband had to put in 3 quarts of oil and it has not decreased a bit over time. The only explanation is the fact they accidentally removed our oil. However, our engine light is now coming on. We have serviced it twice in the past for this engine light and now I will have to phone again. Hopefully, running with no oil did not do any engine damage. read more

Once again, I got terrific service at Huskey. I went in looking for a louder horn than is on my Subaru, after confirming it wouldn't void my warranty. Eric helped me and suggested two construction horns, which would have a combined db of 262. Most auto horns are only 105 db. Just yesterday I finally had the chance to use that LOUD horn when someone pulled out right in front of me. I honked my horn and concurrently applied the brakes and avoided hitting her. This review is for one reason only, I would like to spare some unsuspecting vehicle owner the frustration and bad service I experienced with this business. The "gentleman" at the desk in service, really needs to hone his people skills. He was completely rude when I had the nerve to call ,the next day after his shop worked on my truck, to let them know that two of the three problems I asked them to address were still not working. When I took it back in they found a reason for the problem, and wanted to charge me labor to fix it......I have no problem paying for parts to put on my truck, but why should I have to pay labor for their mistake? In the end what I got was a $725 ignition ( $100 in parts and $625 in labor ) and now I have to have someone else fix the shoddy job they did putting my window control panels back on. This was a thoroughly unsatisfactory repair, and I hope that whoever reads this is spared the trouble! NO STARS..... read more
