Louisiana Catfish and Grits. 10/10 I regret not ordering another one to-go.

Food was amazing. Everyone there was extremely nice and accommodating. The restaurant has a very nice ambiance that makes it perfect for a brunch date or family outing.

My cousin and I went here for a quick brunch. Waitress came over to I struct us to us the QR code to place our food and drink orders. Everything thing came out quickly and was delicious. The dining area is intimate and comfy with the warmers to keep you nice and toasty.

The food was alright, but don't order anything with lobster. It's imitation crab and crawfish. You have to order online from your phone once you're seated at the table. You also have to pay before you even get your drinks and there is an automatic $15 gratuity that can't be removed or changed. There are no servers, only a host who is also running food. Drinks aren't included, even just a soda is $4+ and nothing comes with refills. Seating is outdoor only and the music is played at a loud volume. After we ordered, we waited about 45 minutes for our food, which would have been fine but there were only 4 other tables sat. They were not busy. Like I mentioned, the food was alright, but given the rest of the experience we probably won't be returning.

The food is good. I ordered via Uber Eats and it just arrived. However, there is NO SYRUP!!! In my opinion, the worst thing a restaurant can do is not be considerate with their delivery orders. How can you sell pancakes and not send any syrup????? It's so irritating!!! And the pancakes are thick and need syrup. It ruins the entire meal. So maybe go in to eat, don't trust delivery!!! I thought about typing a message bc I thought this may happen, but they don't allow notes on their Uber Eats orders.

10/10 every time. We ordered on our phone and everything came out quick. It's a joke in the wall type of place but cozy. This was my second time visiting. My friend and I shared all of our food. We had bacon, eggs, blueberry pancakes, brisket, & shrimp and grits. My niece devoured her kids meal pancakes. I don't remember them having drinks last time so, naturally, we got a few rum punches. Had us feeling like we were on an island. I can't wait to bring my other family members.

I've been wanting to try this place for a while and it turned out to be everything I imagined. My wife and I finally got to visit Huskey's for a weekend brunch. They only had outside covered/patio seating, but they have fans for hot days and heaters for colder weather. The weather was beautiful and the music was great. It really reminded us of the amazing experiences we shared in Jamaica. I had the jerk chicken omelette and the pancakes with fresh fruit and pecans(that were too good to make the picture). My wife had the hamburger and loved it. The omelette was amazing and one of the most unique ones I've ever had. The jerk sauce was the perfect amount of sweet/spicy and the potatoes were crispy despite looking a bit oily. The servers were kind and it was nice to prepay on your phone and be able to leave whenever you like. We will be back for sure!!

The food was great. The Jam Rock omelette was really well put together and I ordered a side of Cajun shrimp and grits, which were fantastic. The menu is a digital QR code and the staff is very friendly.

Found this restaurant when I was searching Black owned restaurants in the area. We didn't know what to expect because we didn't see many recent pictures online. This is parking on both sides of the building. One side has more spots than the other. There are seats outside that are covered and then seats inside. You seat yourself and scan the QR code on your table to place your order. You tip when you place your order and there isn't a way to update your tip after your meal or after you place your order. The server brings out your drinks then your food once it's ready. I ordered a pineapple ginger juice and it came without any ices. By the time I got my food it was room temperature. I enjoyed the juice, but it would have been better with ice. The server was attentive and helpful. I ordered a banana pancake and a grits bowl with grits, eggs, bacon, and cheese. Everything I ordered was flavorful and it came out piping hot. The wait was right at 10 minutes from the time my order was placed to the food being placed on the table. We enjoyed our fast service and good food. The seating area was well-organized and clean. There was a lot of space and a lot of seating.

Best Pancakes I've ever had! Competency was an issue though. My daughter and I were greeted outside and it wasn't busy at the time which was great. I ordered orange juice and water. Received water and soda. They eventually brought orange juice. We had three glasses on the table for two people. I ordered her a plain pancake and me a pancake with fruit. I wanted turkey bacon also. My daughter received a pancake with a bunch of fruit on there that she did not eat. And I received ham or Canadian bacon. Again, the food was delicious, but we just got things that we didn't ask for.

It was good. Just wished they would Have put the pumpkin spice butter on it.

I saw the reviews, liked the pictures and decided to come try this place out. It's more of a "self service" type restaurant where you order the food AND pay, with tip before getting your meal but the staff that brought the food and explained their process was very nice. The restaurant itself was quaint. It wasn't packed which is preferred for me but I definitely think folks should check it out. I had the Harlem chicken and waffles with a side of shrimp and grits and my boyfriend had a pancake breakfast with eggs and bacon. As I said, I highly recommend. I accompanied my food with a hot chocolate which was also good. They do their own twist of chicken and waffles, putting their chicken on a skewer and dipping it in waffle batter. Now as for the shrimp and grits, I'm not a huge grits person unless done right, and these were definitely done right. It was a side but enough for a taste. I let my bf try and he almost ate off all my grits. Looking forward to going back and trying something else!

The food was delicious. I had the pancake and Parmesan dreads they were delicious. My grandchildren who are 4 and 15 months couldn't stop eating. We love it very much!!!! We would definitely be back for more breakfast and lunch. It's the Hidden Gem on 2nd Avenue that people have to check out. read more

If you have not tried this place you are missing out. The food is CONSISTENTLY PHENOMENAL. They have never missed. The sampler is chef's kiss. The brisket is flavorful and tender. The Harlem chicken and waffles is outstanding. You cannot go wrong with anything on this menu. The outdoor seating is a vibe great atmosphere. I have eaten here so much I've lost count . Between Uber Eats and actually physically visiting the restaurant it's fantastic. 10/10. read more

This spot is DEFINITELY a hidden jewel!!! Be patient; well worth the wait! You won't be disappointed! The food was amazing! The shrimp and grits were creamy and well seasoned. The Husky sampler gave me a little bit of everything and the jerk brisket was super tender. The lobster and shrimp omelette was flavorful. The pancakes were light, fluffy, and sweet. My husband gave the greatest compliment I've ever heard in almost 29 years of knowing him. That the chicken at Husky's is better than the chicken at a certain BBQ restaurant he has raved about since I met him. THAT'S how good the food is at Husky's. We sat on the enclosed deck with the fall breeze coming in through the open door. Really nice. We got great service from Lawrence (I hope I remembered his name right!) who was attentive to our every need and was NICE. We briefly met Husky and he was nice, too. Nice makes things pleasant, and that goes a long way towards the enjoyment we get from a restaurant. We will be back! It's in our neighborhood and we couldn't believe it took this long for us to try it. We wish we had tried it sooner! read more

The food was sooooooo mmm hmm mmm delicious. I tried the Harlem chicken and waffles which came with a super delicious side of shrimp and grits and it was banging!! I went to Huskey's this morning. Normally, we have a great time, but not today. I got attitude when i thought I ordered a drink, when I asked about it. No problem, it wasn't on the ticket so I purchased it. We were a party of 4, so when my son did not get his food ( I did look on the receipt) and it was on there. I had to go request the meal. At that time we were halfway through our meals. Normally, this place does not dissapoint, but today........lf I ever go back, it will be a while. read more

This was my first and last time here . Had to ask someone how to order my food as they don't come to your table and let you know what the deal is . You scan the menu then go over to the cashier to place your order.!The chicken and waffles are in a stick , like a corn dog ! The side of shrimp and grits is just some kind of shrimp gravy over mediocre grits for $17.00 , no real shrimp to be found . I'd like to patronize local businesses but this one was really disappointing. read more

We visited the restaurant on our way to Emory University. Would come here again if I was in the area. The food was good. The staff was friendly. The dining area was converted from outdoors to indoor dining with heat lamps and somewhat flimsy walls. Temps were comfortable in mid-Feb with the heat lamps on. It's a counter service restaurant where you order and pay first, and the waitress brings out your food when ready. read more

After reading reviews and seeing the pictures of the food, I knew I wanted to try this place out. I came in for breakfast and ordered the jam rock omelet. It took a long time for the food to come out but I wasn't worried because I just knew that it would be worth it. Ummm....no!. The omelet tasted old and it for some strange reason, I felt it was already precooked and reheated. The toast was cols and the potatoes were bland. The only positive was my server was really nice. I won't be back! read more

This is a promising restaurant in East Atlanta, but I ordered lunch and they can do better. The blue cheese burger was fine, but it wasn't seasoned. The blue cheese was slapped on with no cohesion -overall, it was ok. The fries seemed to be processed and bought from a different store. I also ordered the macaroni and cheese with shrimp. The cheese was processed. The shrimp were fresh and tasty,but overcooked. I would have been fine with these issues, but the bill was $37. I'd never pay that much for possibly processed and underrepresented food again. I can cook better on my own. The outdoor environment and service were great, but I'd probably not visit again. read more

Shout out Lawrence, he made every effort to check on all the diners and make sure we were doing fine. In a time when many restaurants are short staffed and long waits are the norm, he did his best to make sure we weren't forgotten. Great food too! read more

This place is definitely worth a visit!. We went on a Wednesday for lunch not busy. Personalized service by the chef Ali and server Lawrence. The burgers are so juicy the fries are tasty. Husky sauce amazing ...I think I would dip anything in that sauce . As for the wings I'm on the fence but they tasted good. I'm definitely looking to go back read more

Our server came over quickly to take our drink orders, and afterward she came back to answer any questions. Most of the food was ready at the same time. We appreciated that it came out as it was ready and wasn't left sitting. And everyone enjoyed the food! The only "complaint" one of my friends had was that she thought there was a little too much sauce in her shrimp and grits dish. She felt that the sauce, while it tasted great, overpowered the dish and she would've liked to taste more of the grits flavor. All in all, I'd say we'll likely be back to try something else on the menu.

The skin was crispy. It was a decent sized fillet and the sauce was a good pairing. Overall, lovely experience. I'm giving it four stars instead of five stars because there are multiple shells in a couple of the oysters.

Love this place !!! The menu was big and full of great options. The shrimp and grits were so yummy. Beef sausage was a fav which they sautéed in peppers and onions. The food portions are pretty decent given the price which was fair for Metro- Atlanta dining. The staff was very attentive. And a bonus the bathrooms were very clean.
