This place is down the street from my house and I passed it so many times since it's been opened recently and today I decided to go in for breakfast. Literally best decision I've made this week LOL! Their creamy stuff French toast comes topped with fresh fruits and a bananas Foster like topping and when I tell you it is one of the most delicious bites I've ever had I cannot lie! I've had many different types of French toast but this is literally my favorite they are going to get sick of seeing my face! I also tried the shrimp and grits side dish and it was delicious and surprising. The grits are perfect and cheesy but not overly done! Absolutely delicious everything was super fresh and cooked with love I can tell! Third visit, better than I remembered. I had lunch prior and it was pretty good. On Sunday, I decided to try something different. Their take on chicken and waffles is pure decadence. Three chicken skewers DIPPED in lightly sweet batter, accompanied with berries, and lightly dusted with powdered sugar. It's so right in its wrongness. Oh, and you get a side of Cajun shrimp and grits, or something else. Honestly, once I saw that option, I didn't see anything else. It was all SO good. The side and 1 skewer was enough for brunch. The other two were great the next day. Not crispy like the first day, but not dry upon reheating. Just yummy. Tip: consider pre-ordering for pick up. It can take about 30 mins to prepare the food. The chef and the owner came out and greeted everyone . The waitresses still seem a bit new and a little confused. They kept forgetting things and bringing the wrong food out. But I think once they get use to everything they will be fine. We ordered the pancake breakfast. The pancakes are extremely thick like a pound cake, owner said they are called pound cake pancakes. So if you're not a fan of extremely thick pancakes then just request for them to be made normal. There's also an up charge to substitute items if you get the breakfast. We waited in (what we believed) was the line where everyone was ordering, but were told we had to stand outside the restaurant and wait for a table. Okay, no biggie. Except there were 4 dirty tables, empty, and it took over 30 minutes for us to be seated. There was no one else waiting. There was no urgency to get us seated which was extremely aggravating. There seemed to only be 1 or 2 service members, which was sufficient given the small seating area. After you are seated, then you can go up to the line we were originally in to place your order and pay. The food did take a really long time to come out. Maybe 35 minutes? But the food was certainly good. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Just wish the service was better. Will probably give them another shot and hope for a better experience. read more

We had a nice time here. I loved the decor. It was a whole vibe and the music was on point. They were playing some 2000's R&B. We visited on a Saturday for brunch. It was pretty busy, but the server was very pleasant. She let us know that the wait would be over an hour for food, but we should go ahead and order 1st and then just sit at the bar and she would get us a table when one became available. We ordered the jam rock omelet, which is a jerk chicken omelet served with potatoes and toast. We also got a side of banana pancakes. I ordered the blueberry pancake meal that is served with with eggs and your choice of meat. I loved that they had turkey bacon. The pancakes were huge and tasty, I could barely finish 1 . My boyfriend and I just moved into the neighborhood and wanted to grab lunch as a moving break. I'm so so SO glad he had us try Huskey's. The croissant beignets were one of the greatest sweet treats I've ever had. My Cajun shrimp and grits were phenomenal. My boyfriend's jerk chicken was very very good too. It wasn't as spicy as I personally prefer but the flavor was still so amazing. The plantains were cooked to perfection, and the side of jerk pasta/beans/peppers were also fantastic. The music and inside are very warm and welcoming. The service was also great! For a lunch, it was a little pricey, but it was more than worth it. I can't wait to come back. Passed them a few days ago and was intrigued when I saw the Jamaican flag and told myself I needed to stop by soon, so I was excited when my friend happened to suggest them from google yesterday! Perfect to visit during good weather, not sure how it works during inclement weather since it's outdoor seating (covered though). Visited on a Saturday afternoon and they handled the good amount of people pretty well. Service was very friendly. QR menus (which I'm sick of but I get it) and you go inside to order and food is brought out. Food was very good! I got the "chicken and waffles", which is basically fried tenders on skewers (three) dipped in batter (tasted similar to funnel cake, yum). Loved my dish, my friend enjoyed hers as well. It has remarkable potential to be a cool spot and I'm putting the disclaimer out there that it's a new joint, so I'm sure it had a few kinks to iron out. We were blessed with a beautiful day with the weather shining from clear skies and a pleasant climate. We showed up for breakfast food and to support a new business. The ambiance is cool with covered outdoor seating and a cross between island vibes and an old mechanic shop, unique place. We were greeted and seated by a polite hostess. We QR'd the menu, and we're required to manually order & pay inside which is 'different'. The food is pricy for the the portions and quality in my opinion. Stack of blueberry pancakes was $15, side of jerk chicken $6. We ordered Shrimp & Grits and green beans but after 35 minutes of waiting they advised us they ran out. Mmm, not sure how comfortable I was with that since we PREPAID for the food. We decided to exchange the order to the Alaskan Salmon. There was a price difference, we had to pay more, and in my opinion, new restaurants should make the experience great for new customers. With that, I don't feel we should've been charged the difference. Not a big deal but, again, trying to support a new business. The total wait time was one hour for food and we got hours before others who were already waiting upon arrival. The staff is West Indian, and my WI fam would be rocking the place but ...the music selection was sleepy. Personally, I feel like a culture reggae vibe would've been more appropriate. Or some upbeat tunes for the culture. But the vibe and the food was definitely more "Americanized" compared to how I grew up. Overall, an average experience because everything was average. Vibe, service, and food... although I will admit the pancakes and green beans were delicious. The rice & peas, average. Jerk chicken, average. Salmon, salty and average. For the price point, the food and service needs to be on point to justify. Went with my family on a Sunday morning for brunch. It's a smaller place than I expected but it was cute. I liked that it was kinda like sitting on a patio. I had the chicken and waffles. Someone sent me this on tic tok so I saved it to my collections. Today seem like the perfect day to try. I love the set up. The patio was a nice unexpected surprise. Especially with the covid numbers. The menu look good. I am pescatarian and I has my mind set on crab omelet. At the register I was told it's out of stock and has been for awhile. I was offer the shrimp omelet instead. I think I s aw 3 small shrimp and sauce but had to taste to verify that it was crawfish. Definitely not worth the price of the crab omelet. The creamy grits..are not creamy but since I had to send my plate back for something else I seasoned them up and ate them. I ended up with the Mac n cheese w/shrimp. Although it was spicy once I got home and put some season on it(sprinkle some Tony's) on it. It was better. My friend enjoyed her pancakes. She also got jerk chicken to go. Today I am really conflicted about my review. My daughter found this place on TikTok. It had great reviews. It's about 40 min from our house but we thought what they heck let's check it out. When we arrived, I thought the place was really cute and the customer service was great. You go to the kitchen area to place your order and pay at that time. It wasn't crowded when we arrived at 10:25am. We placed our order. Waited for a little bit. About 10 min later we received our coffee. I was thinking since it took a while to get the coffee, maybe they served it when the food arrived. Well, another 10 min had passed and we still hadn't gotten our order of banana pancakes, eggs and bacon. None of which take long to make. We started noticing that people who arrived after us had received their food and we needed to leave soon to drop my daughter off for work. We asked the server about the status. She came back and said it would be a few more min. They made regular pancakes instead of banana pancakes. At 11:10, we received our order and I feel like it would have been better if it hadn't been rushed. My eggs were not cooked well as requested. The pancakes were ok. The coffee was ok but that a preference thing on the roast. The server says the manager is going to come out to talk to me. I kind of wished she hadn't after she talked to us. The manager says, I didn't put your order in and I apologize. So if I hadn't asked for my food, you would have taken my money and tip and I would have been without food. She apologized. ok. my first time here. we didnt know what to expect. it's like this is a restaurant, but not full service. you sit outside, then go to the inside to place your order and pay before your food comes. we love trying g new places. weren't really thrilled about the chicken and waffles being chicken breast on a skewer dipped in waffle batter...it was different and tasty but when i think chicken and waffles..thats what i want. lol not the IDEA of them. breakfast sampler was really good. it was definitely the brisket for me. and everything else. p the salmon was OK. it's like they put all the seasoning on the green beans and forgot about the fish. speaking of which....the green beans were AMAZING on our first plate but we sent it back bc we order blackened salmon(wouldn't recommend) and received the herb crusted. so we ordered double green beans but when the plate returned they weren't as good. anywho, nice atmosphere food overall tasty and really nice and accommodating staff. read more

Took about 2 hrs to finish everyones meal which is WAY too long. You have to order online and they won't let you substitute things/sides in your meal. This was our first time here and we will definitely be coming back with friends. As far as I could see, it is only outside seating but there is some covered and uncovered areas. It was a warm day and I felt perfectly fine under the covered area. They have big booths perfect for a big party. The atmosphere is great. Even better is the food!!!! Omg was this food amazing. This is definitely in my top places in Atlanta. We got the shrimp Mac n cheese and chicken po boy. It was hot, flavorful, and amazing! Staff was great, accommodating, and wore masks.
