The BEST! Brought my damaged car in to Hustead's concord because Lexus Concord (where we bought our car) recommended them. Joel the manager was so nice, looked at the car when the shop was just about to close and gave me an estimate. He actually told that he would not recommend getting our car fixed at his shop and instead to take it to paintless dent repair in Pleasanton. Since our car is new, he said if it were his car, he wouldn't recommend redoing the factory paint. We took it in to paintless dent repair yesterday and the car is almost perfect. I have been going to Simply Superior for more than 20 years. I have owned multiple Lexus, Mercedes, and Audi vehicles over the years, and hate to admit that circumstances have led me to SS around 10 times. Rich, the owner, has always been the utmost professional. Most of the repairs have been tricky. high end cars (RS7, S550, LS430, etc.) have more problems, such as difficult paint, scarce parts, and pickier owners. Someone rear-ended my mother's Lexus while parked. Although it was considered to be of minor damages, we brought it in to Husteads Auto Body in Concord, CA to discuss options. We were put in contact with Joel who answered all our questions and got back to us promptly. He was very thorough in his explanation including giving me a quick tour of part of the facility to show how they repair and paint auto parts. He was extremely patient and honest with me (telling me costs and what to expect in the finished product). He was able to pop back in the fender on the spot and we decided the car looked good enough and did not require further repairs from the accident. Upon further inspecting the car, we noticed stratches on one of the side doors. He was able to repair it like new and my mother was very happy. Just purchased myself a brand new 2019 black on black Range Rover Velar. Not even having the car for less than 24hrs I received a nasty scratch on the driver side door which was very visible do to the black high gloss paint. Needless to say I was devastated thinking geez how much is this going to run me to get it fixed because I couldn't bare looking at this hideous scratch EVERY time I entered my vehicle. Before deciding to to take it back to the dealership to get it buffed out or whatever the case maybe I decided to call around and get prices which brings me to Simply Superior Auto Body. Not sure if there's a higher compliment than superior but if so this place is it. Upon calling the shop I was greeted by the owner by the name of Rich. I explained to Rich about the scratch on the door and figured he would just give me some crazy estimate of thousands of dollars for the repair but instead Rich told me to come on down and let him take a look at the problem. Upon arrival Rich took a look at the scratch from a couple of different angles and proceeded to have me follow him to his office were he gave me 3 different options on how to fix the problem. Not once was there a moment I felt like this guy is going to try and murder my pockets. Rich was honest friendly and above and beyond fair, I see exactly why his business flourishes! A job that should of cost me thousands of dollars do to taking of panels, matching the beautiful high gloss paint etc. Rich advised me to get touch up paint from the dealership and let him try and buff the scratch out before we take further steps. Needless to say Rich worked magic with his idea!! Upon picking my car up I could not tell where and if there was a scratch ever on the vehicle. Did I also mention he refused to let me pay him for the job he did since he considered it very very minor. End up buying him and his crew lunch for the day and driving off with a unblemished Range Rover. Salute to Rich and Superior for a overwhelming GREAT EXPERIENCE!!! I was referred to SImply Superior by my company car administrator after my bumper had an unfortunate run in with a concrete pole. Uh yeah. I have no idea how it happened, the pole just popped up out of nowhere. The guys here were awesome. They did a really good job of following up on my service and fixed my bumper in only 2.5 days! They did such an amazing job that I literally did not recognize my car after it was all fixed up. It was probably because they washed it too, but it was so so clean and shiny and dent free that I couldn't believe it was the same car! I can't really comment on the price since my company picked up the tab. Also, since i haven't a clue about cars I don't even know what a good price would be, but whatever they charged, it was definitely worth it. read more

My experience with Hustead's was relatively good. They continued to update me about my car, and would call me to let me know when it was ready. They ultimately did a good job on the exterior, which is all I needed done. I opened up my backseat a couple hours later to put something in my car, and a opened bag of Chex mix was sprawled across my backseat. The chips were everywhere and I looked at the bag and it seems as though a rat or mouse had chewed into the bag. They also chewed through my sun shield so now I have to get a brand new one. Why was a rat in my car when I trusted them to work on the exterior? Does this mean they opened my door, if so, for how long? This makes me very uncomfortable with how long they left my car seemingly unattended, allowing rodents to hop in my car and make a mess in my backseat for me to clean up! I was referred to Rich by my mechanic, after I had gotten into an accident in my Mercedes C230. Having never dealt with a body shop, the insurance process, and a auto claims adjustor- I was overwhelmed. Rich was patient, up front, and explained in depth how the situation should progress. He dealt directectly with my insurance company (taking the pressure off of me) after quickly producing a fair and honest estimate. The accident occured during the holidays, and although my car did not end up being repaired, he allowed me to store my vehicle an extra few days until I could straighten everything out with my insurance. It is never fun dealing with a car accident and all of the repercussions, but Rich made the ordeal as painless and smooth as I could have asked for. Update:fixed my car and seat they damaged but they never called me giving me updates I had to always call. Friendly but poor customer service Two stars... because they did do a good job with my car took it in due a hit in run. GEICO reffered them to me and I saw they had good reviews. They were very friendly, the car took a little over two weeks. When I picked it up I saw that was passenger seat was damaged it didn't stay still. Now every time I drive it goes front and backwards. I let them know right away when I left and they tried to fix it but no luck. This was at 9am and they said they would have a manager call me. You would think a manager would call me it's the end of the day and nothing. The person I spoke to who I won't say his name told me "oh yea I saw on the pictures we took your seat was all the way in the front". You would think the manager would care and call me at least to bull**** me. But nothing. Staff is friendly but very irresponsible I WILL UPDATE IF THEY FIX MY SEAT! I can't even put my daughter in her carseat in the back without the seat smacking her. I can't even drive it because I can't see or use my right side mirror due to the passenger seat moving all the time. I hope manager sees this and takes responsibility for what his team did. I won't stop until they fix my seat!!!!!!!! read more

I had to hit a metal object on the fwy (because I couldn't change lanes) and it did huge amount of damage to the undercarriage of my car. Hustead's was amazing to work with. They meticulously fixed every part of the damage (having to hunt down some parts from as far away as TN). I drove over a rock in my driveway and messed up the car bumper. I yelped 3 auto body shops and planned to visit all three and get quotes. I knew there would be a range and frankly didn't want my insurance to go up nor did I need a new bumper or a new looking perfectly perfect bumper. I explained the situation at Husteads, and the gentleman who greeted me explained that they could remove the bumper, sand it, repaint it, etc. OR-secure the bumper and call it a day. Which Johnny came over and did, in about 10 minutes while I sat in the car. They weren't going to charge me so I tipped Johnny. I am so happy. It looks perfect. You would not be able to tell that something happened to it at all. I love my car a ridiculous amount and was super stressed out about this. In life it's pretty rare to get a fix quickly and for free. With car problems, that NEVER happens. I hope I never have a need for car body work. But if I do, I will absolutely return to Husteads. I took my car to Simply Superior Auto Body last week and had a great experience. I only needed to have minor work done on the side body panels of my Honda minivan. They were able to reshape the dent, buff out paint from a post that I hit, clean up some minor rust, and do touch up paint work. Simply Superior is okay if you have a lot of patience. Granted my car was side swiped and severely damaged it took almost 9 weeks to fix my car, however I was initially told 3 maybe 4 weeks at most. They charged my insurance company almost $20,000, when I strongly feel the car should have been totaled (it wasn't though as SS said it was fixable). I still have problems with my car they had for 9 weeks, but will not go back to SS. read more

I brought my 2004 Chevy Tahoe here for some minor body work last year and was very impressed with how quickly and efficiently it was fixed!
