Actually, Brian at HVDC came highly recommended by the first company I'd called to get my dryer looked at. From my description, it sounded like the slow dry time was a matter of the dryer vent requiring a deep cleaning. Brian, I was told, was the guy for the job. Our dryer was taking longer to dry clothes that it should have and cutting out early. Some research showed that clogged ducts were probably the culprit. Our appliance repair man suggested HDVC. Great suggestion! The technician was professional, polite, efficient, and clearly knew what he was doing. He not only cleaned the ducts, but also cleaned lint from the inside of the dryer. Today was the second time I had these folks out to make our dryer functional again (it had been a couple years and long overdue). Kind of a long, underground vent run for the dryer with no way to change it. Brian came out and got it cleaned out, flowing like crazy good and even got to the collected lint and yuch inside the front panel of the dryer. I highly recommend them whenever there's a need... Or even just for a tune up! Jenny is very affable and returns phone calls and is quick to schedule you in (especially in urgent situations like mine was!). I called HVDC after a handyman recommended I seek the assistance of an HVAC person regarding my dryer vent. After reflooring my laundry room, the dryer was venting inside the house instead of outside. It turns out that the connection in my house was one of a kind (in a bad way). When I called HVDC for help, the woman was extremely helpful and allowed me to text her photos of my laundry room to get a better idea of what I needed. She went above and beyond. We just moved into our new home, and the clothes dryer was not working properly. I did research, and found that a clogged dryer vent was the likely cause. I checked around, and found Harris Vent and Duct Cleaning. The rep from HVDC came at the time he was scheduled, and within 30 minutes both vacuumed and snaked the vent to make sure it was clean. We could not be more pleased. Brian was running a few minutes late and he called to let us know. He is a very nice guy, personable, energetic, and professional. He cleaned our dryer duct and removed a fan that was not working and explained everything along the way. And he left the place cleaner than he found it. Boy, are we glad we called. I HIGHLY recommend these guys for your vent and duct cleaning needs. They were timely, incredibly friendly, and very efficient in their work. I had all of my AC ducts cleaned, along with the dryer vent, all of which only took 2 hours. I even got a discount for having found them online! My ducts had been smelling funny post-remodel of the house, which is now gone. And apparently the dryer vent in my house was VERY dirty, which is a leading cause for house fires due to the large flame employed by drying machines. My new gas dryer' check vent light kept turning on after a few minutes of drying. The installer checked dryer was fine and recommended me to have someone inspect the house.
