Staff was friendly, inside is basic but was clean, and food was great and prices are affordable. I will be back for sure.

Man, I love this place! Cool vibes, great sushi and the staff of servers were very friendly. If your ever out in the daybreak area give it a try or even make it a point to go there if your craving great sushi. They have some classic rolls and fun creative rolls unique to this spot!

Waitress was super nice and friendly! A bunch of tables got sat all at once so the kitchen was really slow. That was my only reason for three stars. But the service was great. The sushi was great. It just took a long time. They did give us complementary dessert due to the long wait times. I would definitely try this place again!

Good ramen & good sushi! Tried this place in Murray and realized I'd been to the South Jordan location as well, didn't realize there were two. This is a cute Japanese restaurant and the staff is very friendly! Tried the veggie ramen and it comes with shrimp &veggie tempura on the side for the same price as the other ramens. Last time we got sushi, and I liked it as well. They seemed a little understaffed, so it was a teeny slow, but a good vibe inside the restaurant and the servers were very nice!

The Sashimi Bento lunch at Sikhism's was a real treat and priced a few dollars lower than other places nearby. The restaurant features a clean, contemporary interior with new furnishings throughout. The two sushi chefs worked efficiently behind the counter and my server was pleasant and courteous. The sashimi was really fresh and I'll certainly be back to try some of their other dishes.

This place is affordable. Our bottle of sake was only $21. It's a solid spot to satisfy your sushi cravings, especially if you like rolls that are saucy and topped with lots of extras. They also have a kids menu, which is a plus for families. The servers were attentive and checked in often. I liked that it had a more low-key vibe, and it wasn't busy at all on a Thursday.

I think this must've changed hands, not sure, but the layout was a lot different! At any rate that didn't matter, it just looks better! The food was excellent, and the waitress was just so sweet!

New sushi restaurant in holladay in the same shopping center as sprouts. It's beautiful decorated but what's even better is the quality of their sushi. They have an extensive menu and everything we had was delicious! Service was quick and attentive but we also came when they weren't too busy. Great place to satisfy your sushi craving without having to drive downtown and waiting in line.

food quality: 5/5 service: 5/5 cleanliness: 5/5 value: 5/5 Don't skip on: The Caterpillar Roll (if you like eel!) First time trying Sukihana and we had a great experience! Shout out to Farrah for being one of the most attentive servers I've had in a while - she was fantastic and made sure we were informed of where our food was at and also kept us very hydrated! The restaurant was very clean as well and had a nice and inviting decor. We ordered agedashi tofu, mussel shooters, seaweed salad, and a couple of rolls. Everything was priced reasonably as well! I don't know what was in the eel sauce for the caterpillar, but it was addicting! The fish was fresh and the rolls came out fairly quickly. There was a lot of variety on the menu and I can't wait to go back and try more.

Quickly became one of my favorite sushi spots! I love the decor, with plants, natural woods and artwork its a cozy clean spot for a yummy meal. The handrolls were delicious and i loved all our sushi rolls. Filling but not too heavy and filled with fresh veggies, well cooked rice and perfectly prepared proteins. A little on the pricey side but ill definitely be back thanks to the quality!

This is the all-new sushi bar in the mini mall that includes the Sprouts grocery store that replaced the old (and somewhat tired) "Red8" Asian food location. Although there is an interesting hint that it might be a subsequent reincarnation of the former restaurant, it really is almost nothing like the previous restaurant in terms of food quality. (Hint: when we received the ccard charge receipt, it somewhat strangely had "Red8" printed along the top of it! ) Also, it was apparent that the server was having extraordinary difficulty reading and ascertaining the menu items for purposes of order taking, being neither a native English OR Japanese speaker. Nonetheless, she worked hard to understand our orders and didn't make any errors. So we received exactly what we wanted. That being said, and notwithstanding the odd looking flat screen tv with the taped down strange looking antennae thingy hanging down below the tv that was showing taped Christmas movies (??) on the wall, **THE FOOD WAS GOOD!** And really quite moderately priced- (even for Salt Lake City). Here are the top items we sampled: 1) a REALLY tasty spicy tuna hand roll. I'd call it a second best alternative to the one at Miyazaki at Fashion Place mall in Murray, UT. (This is the Best sliced spicy tuna roll I've eaten anywhere in the world!) I'm sure you don't believe it. What are the odds? Here's a challenge for you- go down there and try it. The owner's name is King. You'll thank me! The green salad- really quite tasty- looks like Japanese green salad with classic dressing. But the dressing is a little sweet. Where are the fish flakes you might ask??!! Missing- Oh well. Still pretty tasty. And crispy lettuce! My dining mate ordered sautéed shrimp on a plate with some yummy looking sautéed veggies on the side, since she doesn't care for raw stuff. She said "it was good". It LOOKED pretty good! Overall, I wouldn't take a date here unless you were already married. There's no decor or ambience to speak of. Except for the tv The service is functional The pricing is quite reasonable. The seafood, with the possible exception of the octopus, is quite good. The hand roll and scallop- I'd drive across town past a half a dozen other sushi bars just to get either one of them. I had the usual assortment of hamachi, yellowtail, octopus, and scallop. They were all fine. (Octopus was a tiny bit dry-- and thin) but hey, this is in Salt Lake City, 600 miles inland. What do you expect?? But, guess what? The scallops are extraordinary! How often does that happen? I also noticed, BTW, that the scallops were $2-4 higher than the other sushi items. But considering how zesty they were... well... fine! Worth it! So, on a date with friends or someone who already knows that you're good person, and who you don't need to impress... Go for it!!

The food was really great! Will definitely be back! Ordered the ramen and had to try a roll just for fun.

We Googled this place and said let's give it a try. We walked in and to note we are not Caucasian. There were a few people people at the bar and ooh the looks we received as why are they here. However, the girl at the counter was pleasant to us when we walked in. We decided to sit inside since no one was at the tables and they were a few people outside, not buy at all and it was around 8:30pm We sat down the waitress, Asian lady was not rude but not friendly. No greeting, asked if we wanted water. She got the water, placed it down a little hard and that was that. We looked at each other and said oh lord, here we go. We sat for about 20 minutes before our order was taken. I mentioned it was not busy. Once we ordered it had taken another 20-25 to get our food and you CA. See below what we ordered it shouldn't have taken that long. Anywho, we received our food, then you can feel the Asian lady energy started to change for the better. She talked to us and was engaging. However, interesting experience. We ordered the following: Chicken Karaage - 5/5: This was good and the sauce that came along with it was good. I needed more for the amount of chicken that was given. Miss soup 5/5: it was good and not salty, just enough flavor. Salad 3/5: the salad was good, I should have ordered the salad dressing on the side, it was bit much on the salad. Shrimp tempura maki roll 5/5: fresh and good. Nice size cuts not too big or small. Veggie Maki roll 5/5: fresh and good. I would return if ever back in Utah.

I was amazed by how bustling it was during lunch on a week day, even more impressed by how many office people showed up. I would say it was a good experience but not a personable experience. We got our table, we got our food, we paid the bills. No one would check if there were any special occasions or if the food was okay. Now that I think about it, people who showed up was not for an intimate laid back meal, it was for efficiency. Our large sashini combo was great.
