Clint is a good mechanic, however his listing skills need to be worked on. The work he does is a 4 to 5 star for sure. People at times do not value are time as a paying customer. I will not give him a lower rating, hoping that he realizes or hears my point. It takes my time to take the motorcycle to his location and get a ride there and back, each time. He shows up late 30 minutes, then I go to pick my Motorcycle up and he is closing early? So I need to rearrange and find another ride for the next day. Yeah I sorta understand things happen. But when you take your motorcycle to drop off and explain to him (twice) about what happened in details, about the indicator lights being on, and what happened to cause the main issue on why I was taking my motorcycle in the first place. He sorta fixed my issue only for me to ride home and the issue happened again, realizing he did not fix anything, he took the easy way to fix a simple issue, yeah even I can replace a fuse! Result was me having to take the motorcycle back and again taking my time away from my day. Later, for him to tell me the indicator lights are on and he read the codes! And told me what was wrong, I thought to myself "Did I not mention this twice? Looking at me like I did something wrong. Yeah I felt my time was wasted, I did not spend a lot of cash, my credit union replaced for me, yes he got bent and was not happy when I went to pick up my motorcycle, I could have got my refund after the fact, but it was about making the point, he got his money, but maybe now he can give a little more attention when spoken to about the concern and what is wrong with a problem instead of having me running around. Im not sure if this guy Clint would be understanding and work on my motorcycle again, but I need a mechanic that listens and gets it done correctly the first time. read more

Highway 66 Choppers, at first Clint seemed to be a nice guy. had him work on both my bikes, in fact my Lowrider had them paint it with their guys.... SUPER GREAT JOB!!! , I also have a Road Glide Special which when i got it rode it out to Scottsdale AZ. and had then put a 131 /4stage kit in it and it runs like a champ. i thought i was feeling a bit of a slip in my clutch so had Clint up grade the Clutch for me, and $1000.00's of dollars later (even at one point he had to pay himself cause he messed up). I finally get the bike back after I go out get the correct springs to use and he installs them the clutch is good to go..... BUT HE GIVE THE BIKE BACK WITH NO TRANSMISSION FLUID IN IT GOES OUT and now needs a new trans. HE WILL NOT WORK ON IT CAUSE HE THINKS I ARGUE TO MUCH..... FUNNY DO THE WORK CORRECTLY THE FIRST TIME AND YOU GET ZERO FLACK! NOW IT WILL COST ME ANOTHER $5000.00 ...... HE SUCKS AND IS VINDICTIVE PERSON ! picked up my Lowrider last after a scratch fix on the paint its running like crap and I am sure he did something to it cause of being vindictive! read more

Great shop to take your motorcycle. About a year ago I brought my Buell Firebolt that had some issues starting and they were quick to find the root cause. First and last time using this workshop, I took my motorcycle for 20k service, when I went to pick it up I asked them how much life the tires have left and they showed me a pressure gauge and they told me to buy one of those and so I would have that information, It was missing a screw that holds the frame, the cluch cable was too loose, the fuel crossover hose was worn and had cracks, so I asked for the 20xxx service, to solve those problems that I previously knew and was the main reason for the service, but apparently they only made the motor oil, transmission and primary oil, without fix those points, after paying $ 640 dls I expected a better service and more information, in the end I had to take the motorcycle to another workshop and pay another service to rectify and repair what this workshop could not do ..... read more

He could have told me a plethora of things were wrong with my bike and charged me "up the wazoo" but he evaluated my bike and told me exactly what my issues were. He made the entire bike "right" instead of just fixing it and charging me. You know I usually don't take the time to write reviews, but after spending over $1700 dollars and my bike is now running worse. I'll take the time. Guys at hwy 66 had my bike for over 4 weeks (due to powder coating) when I got my bike back. Magically the clutch rings were worn. (Weren't like that before I dropped it off) also my dash wasn't assembled and almost flew off on the freeway. I asked for a full tune up for summer and point by point inspection. After getting my bike back I took it on 2 rides both about 5 hours long. Ran decently fine. On the 3rd ride my clutch no longer worked. I can get it into gear but she doesn't go anywhere. Also now theirs an electrical issues. It's a pretty weird coincidence that all this happening after I dropped it off. Especially since I asked for a inspection. I called them up and ask what oil/primary was used for the clutch and told them what happened and pretty much got laughed at. I wish there was more I could do but now I took a $1700 loss and have to find a new shop. read more

Just bought a chopper and the guy I bought it from highly recommended them so I dropped the bike off there and they did awesome custom work at a good price and within good time. I like to weld and they even did some custom fabrication and the welds were like perfectly stacked dimes. Clint the master mechanic is awesome and did great work on the fabrication and hiding wireing through tubes of my bike and pointed out allot of details I wasnt catching even on the work I was going to do myself. Butch who is a jack of all trades helped me pick better parts than what I was thinking when ordering and saved me some money. A friend of mine had worked with this guy Clint at his dad's shop years ago. Clint has his own shop now so I thought I'd give him a shot hoping to get a good deal. On everything I love this guy straight ripped my off. I took it there and brought it back 2 more times. The bills cam to around $1400.00 in total. With the problem never being fixed. I had a guy from the bureau of auto repair go there and told him I was gonna take him to court. He called our mutual friend who told me if I got cops, court's involved then he's no friend of his. He believes you take care of shit yourself always. He offered to mediate and I got back 350 dollars. So I got beat out of 900 bucks by this punk Clint. He did shit to my bike. Don't let this guy beat you to he's a crook. With that all I can say is you been warned. Just called this shop to get a quote about installation of a new tire for my HD. I asked if it would be cheaper to buy the tire and have the shop install the tire or have the shop buy and install the tire. He stated it would be cheaper for the shop to buy and install the tire. He quoted me $70 to install the tire and $5 tire disposal fee. I get the disposal fee, and even the $70 dollars labor if that's what the shop charges. What I don't get is the inflated price on a Scorcher 11 240/40-18 tire. The shop's price was $375!!! That's full retail or maybe even more! What a ripoff $450! I explained to the guy on the phone that he was way out of the ballpark from other quotes that I have received today. His attitude and comment said it all..... " Oh well, good luck"... was his response. Obviously they don't need my business. I'm taking my business to Cycle Rider in Montclair, CA where I was quoted $271.10 mounted balanced out the door. Using the reviews found here my husband took his motorcycle to Hwy 66 to have an oil leak repaired. After dropping it off we had to continually call the shop to find out when the bike would be ready because they did not think we were important enough to give us a heads up on the progress. A week after taking it to the shop we finally go to pick it up. My husband rides his bike home to find out the leak is now 10 times worse than when he took it to Hwy 66. In addition to a them not fixing the problem they took a large amount of our money. I'm not posting this to agree or disagree with anyone else's review, but as someone who checks out yelp before going into someplace I don't know, I wanted to post my opinion of this shop. I went in two weeks ago to look at a certain motorcycle I had seen posted, and was greeted by the shops GM Mike. He walked me around the bike and did everything you might expect a salesperson to do. But then outside of offering and then letting me take it for a ride, he sat for about 30 to 45 minutes and explained to me the various functions and things to look out for on a bike while riding. (I'm still learning) Now I came in when the first opened on a Saturday morning and I had the advantage of having all the customer service I wanted. But after expressing my interest to purchase, Mike told me he'd like to put a new battery in it to make sure I wouldn't have any problems because the current battery seem a bit faulty. With what I felt was full disclosure and honesty I picked up the bike a week later and am now riding a beautiful machine. I can't really say enough about the service and courtesy provided to me by Mike and the guys at the shop. Even though I'm 40 plus miles from here, I still will be taking it out to get any future service I need. read more
