Or if there were major issues to expect down the road, I could look into getting a new car instead of fixing this one. Ethan V. greeted me on his lunch break but made sure to listen to why I was there and gave me an idea of how long the wait would be and what to expect. Fortunately the car had a nearly clean bill of health. That is to be expected because I kept up with regular maintenance on the car. But they did recommend a few items to address to extend the useful life of the car: (1) Control Arms and Bushings had moderate wear, (2) my second set of tires had 3mm of tread, (3) the cabin air filter was a little worse for wear. My main concern, and why I brought it to this shop, was for hybrid red flags like battery issues. As Ethan explained to me, without taking apart the hybrid battery, it would not be possible to give a comprehensive health check for it. But since there were no error codes that came up that would indicate a problem with the hybrid system, the battery was still in good condition. He mentioned an anecdote of other Niros he's seen that that had 200k with the original battery to allay my concerns. He mentioned that I should also consider replacing the spark plugs probably due the mileage of the car. After giving me an estimate on what the cost would be if I decided to have them work on the issues, he said he could apply the paid inspection cost on the work if I decided to proceed in the next 30 days. Overall I had a great first visit with Electron and would consider returning if I decide to move forward with the recommended upkeep repairs.

Cesar said they skipped the rotation because my car "didn't need it" but tires should be rotated every 5k and I was due. My car still had OEM tires with wheel locks, and the dealership had neglected to give me the key to remove the tires, which I didn't know at the time. Bad on the dealer, bad on Electron, they almost certainly noticed and could've flagged it instead of the brush-off. Months later I had a blowout and couldn't change the tire because of that missing key. Would've saved me from being stranded. Friendly staff, mystery oil change, phantom rotation.

They were super responsive with the best customer service I've ever encountered, clear communication and consistent follow-up throughout the entire process. I originally brought my car in after getting a warning to stop immediately. I called around and got multiple quotes and they had the best deal. Andrew who answered the phone was incredibly friendly and correctly diagnosed it as a battery issue right away. He walked me through the difference between a refurbished and new battery and I chose the refurbished option which came with a one year warranty. Unfortunately the battery failed shortly after but never in my life have I experienced customer service like this. They offered to pick up my car and drop off a loaner. That alone is exceptional. Owner Ivan took full responsibility without hesitation and the turnaround time was phenomenal. 10/10 would recommend to anyone. I don't live nearby but I will absolutely be coming back for all future service. They really take pride and joy in making sure that everything is done well and will provide a solution with the utmost customer service.

I went in for an A1 service, and a full vehicle inspection (oil change, tire rotation, and full car inspection with notes). I also added notes when I arrived based on what I experienced with my car on the way there. (vibration at certain speeds/ odd thunk). When I came back, I was told that they did not do the car inspection, and that they drove the car around to try and recreate the notes, but said they didn't hear or feel anything. Christian also realized that they missed something with my car and rushed my car back to the shop cuz they forgot to do the tire rotation. So I had to wait another 20+ minutes after the initial 1.3 hrs. they've had the car. Other than that, no notes about the car's wear & tear, no other notes with feedback on anything else my car may need. We've had the car 6 years and I brought it in for the inspection so I could see what needs done, and save up for it. This shop couldn't even be bothered to give me any other notes about the car. Not even the windshield wipers or suspension which other shops would have been happy to point out. When I pulled away and left, the car's low tire pressure light came on. This was now a huge red flag. I came back asking to see if they checked my tire pressure. They said they didn't cuz I didn't ask for it. This is the most BS thing I've ever heard. I have never had a shop tell me that they don't even check for your pressure, and that I had to ask for it. This also tells me they didn't check any of my fluids cuz they didn't include any info, even tire wear levels in my receipt. I rely on my vehicle for my job, and with my life for safety. When they finally got this tatted guy to come to the car to add air to my tires, he gave me the dirtiest look as he walked past. I was not rude at any point, stayed calm, and asked nicely and politely. I left quietly as soon as he finished adding air to my tires. So yeah, not for me. I was nice, kind, patient, no Karen moments, just polite. They were careless, stand-offish, and dicks to me. I got a lot less for my money, I feel ripped off, and now I have to go to Americas Tire Co. to have them double check my tires before I drive from Irvine to Lake Elsinore and back, something I do for work a few times every week. Don't fall for the hype. William saw me a few times and heard my concerns, but never stepped up to help out. Great show of leadership and customer care there William. I got charged a premium only to do the bare minimum with no care for the customers. Such a disappointment and waste of time and money.
