Always a great time here! I like how casual and chill it is. I love coming during the summer with my dog. The pizzas are always delicious. You order at the front and take a number then they bring your pizza out for you. The last time I was there, they even brought out a bowl of water for my dog!

Stopped in for Pizza night when all pizzas are $10. It's seat yourself and we had no issues finding a seat. Ordered our drinks and pizza at the bar. The drinks were delicious and the pizzas were amazing! We had the hot honey and pepperoni pizzas. It was definitely getting busier as we were heading out.

Wow! This place was delicious. We had a larger group and everything was fast and affordable. We split the banana pepper dip, the tri color, and burrata pizza. We got both pizzas on gluten free crust - the crust was so good I panicked for a moment that the order was wrong - nope! Just so good. Our drinks were all great - I got the lavender menace. Yummy! Not in Buffalo often but would make this a regular placif I was.

Came as part of my 5,800 mile 30 city food road trip. A triggering thing for me is spots that only offer full pours of drafts. I view it as a safety concern when driving is a factor and enjoy tasting multiple small pours when possible. Venues tend to make more money per ounce when that's offered anyways. I just got water as a result and bartenders seemed a bit agitated when doing so. Ordered a burrata pizza advertised with garlic oil, mozzarella, marinated tomato, basil, balsamic, and crispy prosciutto. It was fine. There was so little prosciutto though that it was a bit soft on soft. The few pieces on ther were a little soggy.

We started with a small plate caesar salad and then enjoyed the coppa and fig pizza made with stracciatella, coppa, fig, rosemary oil, mozzarella, parm and chives. Not to be mistaken for an ordinary pepperoni and cheese pizza. The atmosphere in the outside patio was perfect on a summer night. I highly recommend!

Just got into town and this was down the block from our accommodations! We loved the vibe, very relaxed environment. Tons of outdoor seating! Reinforced by the "order at the bar" service, which is fine by me. The bar service and food service were both very fast. We both had cocktails which were fine! I got the special and it wasn't my fave, but that's more on me. We got the medium Buffalo wings, the hot honey pizza, and the burrata pizza. The food was good! Not sure if the pizzas are worth $18/ea though. The burrata was my fave. Overall good experience!

Cozy, open atmosphere with good music playing. We came here while visiting Buffalo because their wood fired pizzas were evidently pretty good. When you arrive, you can take menus and seat yourself and then order at the bar when you're ready. The bartenders were super nice and understanding when I mentioned a peanut allergy in our group. We got the banana pepper dip with pita, a Caesar salad, and burrata pizza. The dip was fantastic and the salad good, but the pizza a bit disappointing. The flavor was there but the bottom crust was soggy. We expected a little bit of a crisp for a wood fired pizza. The drinks were delicious!

everytime i come here it's a pretty good time. especially when they do $10 pizzas on tuesdays when it's cold. SUCH A STEAL and i love that they don't skimp on ingredients or size when it's happy hour. we love an honest business. only critique is that the pizzas with sweet elements tend to be VERY sweet...they go heavy handed on the sweet toppings. be aware if you're not lookin for a dessert pizza lol! otherwise everything else i've had here is pretty good. idk about the drinks, though, they're okay! nothing special just ok :)

The service was great, the setting was very nice and the food was good. The bartender who took our order was very friendly and good at explaining things. We ordered a specialty rum cocktail and got a brick oven pizza. I wish I remembered the names of each, but I waited too long to leave the review for those particulars. But, I do remember the important part, the drink was yummy and so was the pizza. The only complaint I have is that they must have needed to clean their oven or something because the pizza had a lot of black char stuck on the bottom (see pics). It was nice there were water stations to help yourself to hydration. They didn't have waiters, you just got a number when ordering at the bar and they had food runners. Also, I found the pricing to be quite reasonable for Buffalo. I would visit again.

Looking for a good place to hang out and wet your whistle? Than Hydraulic Hearth is the place. The Bartenders are very friendly, and are up to creating new drinks for your enjoyment. Since Covid, you come and choose wherever you want to sit at. Upon entering the hostess gives you a menu, and gives you the what's what about the restaurant. To your left they sell specialty drinks, some condiments, and merchandise. Chicken wings- good sized wings.. I would like them more crispier though Fried cauliflower- first few bites were good. But then you get tired of the greasy taste of fried food. Salad- very very good and refreshing Pepperoni pizza (not shown)- very good pizza, especially the crust Mozzarella sticks- nice and cheesy Beer- draft beer from KCBC (stout) and it was extremely tasty

Ambiance here could not be better. So much outdoor seating, really nice porch, would return just to sit out there! Service was really friendly and fast, can't believe how fast they got the pizzas out. The spicy pep is an amazing pizza, ORDER THE SPICY PEP, they have the perfect amount of honey and the ricotta is so delish! I'd give that pizza an A+. That being said, the margherita and the vodka special was very underwhelming. The basil on the margherita had no flavor, sauce wasn't very tasty, I would definitely not order it again. And the vodka was a little better but not our favorite.

Great place for a delicious pizza and drinks! I got to enjoy their outdoor patio, which made the experience even better. You order food and drinks at the bar and the food came out quickly. The hot honey pizza was perfection. The pepperoni with the hot honey gave it a savory and sweet taste.

We ventured out into downtown area to grab a drink & hopefully find a spot still serving food. We stumbled across House of Charm while searching online info for something nearby. The exterior is unassuming but easy to spot & the delightful interior was funky, fun & welcoming. Music wasn't insanely loud but was there & the number of interesting "charms" sprinkled throughout the establishment were a total gas. My favorite was the deconstructed Barbie parts displayed on small hooks at the end of the bar. The staff was lovely & came over to greet us in a timely manner. Assured us that they still had a late night menu & then we got to have THE BEST SPICY MARGARITAS EVER!!! The paninis were also yummy & we each got a piece of chocolate & a Dum Dum included on our plates for dessert. But seriously! The spicy margarita! Was absolute Fire I love spicy & am often disappointed if I'm trying a Spicy Marg out & about. Even if I ask for extra spicy...it never really is. But this guys Spicy Margarita was AMAZING!! Both myself & my husband (who doesn't love spicy like I do) were able to enjoy the drinks. They were spicy enough that I enjoyed them & the flavor profile was still balanced & delicious so my hubby was also a huge fan. Of all the places we got to try while in Buffalo, House of Charm was by far my favorite!

Starting with ambiance.......2 full sized bars with plenty of tv viewing if that is what you are in to while there. The seating area is well lit with natural light and comfortable, well spaced seating. We were greeted by our quiet, yet smiley server, Raymond. He was warm, efficient and also gave us great recommendations (coupled with personal stories as to why they were recommended). We ordered drinks (their craft cocktail menu is one of the best I have seen) and then perused the menu. We went with Raymond's recommendation to order 2 cinnamon rolls for the table (we were leary as many places whose claim to fame for having the "best" cinnamon roll, fall short). We also ordered 2 of the multigrain breakfast sandwiches, a smashburger, Brasserie breakfast sandwich, and the biscuits and gravy (highly recommended by Raymond as well). Everything was OUTSTANDING! Phrases like "seriously the combination of this breakfast sandwich with pancakes as the buns is the best breakfast sandwich I have ever had." And, the cinnamon rolls!!! Raymond wasn't lying when he said they were the best. All 5 of us agreed that they were the best cinnamon rolls we have ever had, and lo and behold then had a conversation about what makes a good cinnamon roll - these check ALL of the boxes. We are still talking today about the great atmosphere, service and drinks/food at this establishment. And yes, there may STILL be talk about the cinnamon rolls. Don't sleep on this place!

First off, I was greeted and found staff friendly and efficient! You have plenty of options for seating .. dining area, front bar, back bar, even an outdoor patio bar. Although it is dive bar-esque, it was nice and clean (let's be honest .. some dives have a stench and stickiness that can definitely ruin your appetite, no matter how much you may love them). They have a set up for bands to play, as one was playing while I was there for their 2 year anniversary (congrats!). What was nice is although I could hear the band (it was playing in the back and I was up front), it wasn't over whelming me. I have eaten places where, no matter where you sit, it's extremely loud, and I appreciated that you had a choice here. Now onto the food: The food should have been doomed to fail; my tastebuds were prepared to eat sweet, buttery, syrupy French toast with a mocktail at brunch elsewhere. But wasn't hyped about the menu because of this (which is not dog and pony's fault .. I had to work and didn't have time to research where else brunch was available). I settled on the umami smashburger by a suggestion of my waitress. Now once again, could have been doomed to fail as I'm not a French fry person and my favorite cheeseburger is one I make on my own. BUT WOW their food blew me away and made me forget all about my brunch let-down. The French fries were fantastic and had a great seasoning on them! The smashburger was great to the last bite .. and I was NOT expecting to finish it as it was a really nice portion (I ate lunch now 10 hours ago and didn't need to eat again it was so filling!) but it was so dang gone good I sure finished it! Smoked cheddar .. chimichuri aioli ... kimchi bacon jam .. oh ya that bacon jam was EVERYTHING!! Thank you to the staff at Dog and Pony for making my long drive worth while!

This was their first time here and admittedly I was happy because they haven't had many pleasant food experiences in Buffalo. I was nervous that we'd either a) be turned away or b) not get the best service since it was so close to the time that they closed. Let me be the first to say that that was not the case at all. We were seated in the most perfect little nook tucked away near the door. Dimly lit but cozy for good vibes and good food. Our server Megan came over and she was truly delightful. Special shoutout to Megan again for offering a one of a kind experience. Misc: There's a parking lot next door to the building never knew. Prices are a tad steep but the vibes are good.
