I'm very disappointed with my experience with this company. The price they quoted me was around $3,000, and I've included some pictures below. What concerns me most is the lack of trust I now have in their recommendations. I previously hired this company to do tuckpointing work for me. About three years later, I contacted them about touching up a few areas, and I was told the work was already in bad shape. When I reminded them that they were the ones who had performed the original work, the response was essentially, "Oh, we can just repair these couple of bricks. It's not a big deal." After that experience, and now being presented with what I believe is an unnecessarily expensive repair, I simply don't feel comfortable doing business with this company anymore. My father was hit by a speeding dump truck which broke his entire pelvis. Stopping is more difficult while you are hauling a heavy truck. We've also had a few fatalities now on this street. Its generally understood that you slow down a bit when crossing bike paths and are respectful of the areas you require travel through. I would believe that someone who operates a biz in Lombard would be more mindful of this. Apparently not today.

Vertical did an excellent job cleaning my chimney. I felt confident the fireplace was safe to use…read moreafter their thorough inspection. They started the inspection with an internal view using their video camera technology which they shared with me so I could see the condition of the chimney. Then they climbed up to the roof and inspected it externally. The chimney sweep took photos from the roof that allowed me to see the state of some flashing work that had been done at the base of the chimney several years prior. Vertical also gave me a quote to convert my wood burning fireplace into a gas burning fireplace as I don't like the messiness of managing the wood and I want to be able to quickly turn off the fireplace when we are done using it. I recommend Vertical if you need to get your Chimney cleaned. Their prices are very reasonable and the technicians are knowledgeable.
