Tiffany H. is the best stylist there and I am so happy I have found her. I started going to this salon almost 2 years ago and she always did my hair perfectly. I have very fine thin hair naturally and to bleach it blonde takes skill that Tiffany has. Other stylist would damage my hair because it ended up dry and breaking off but here I never had any issues and my hair remains soft and not over bleached. I saw Jay for the first time yesterday and was very happy with the experience. She took her time to determine what I wanted and then we discussed my hair type and what would work best. Worst hair salon I've been at ... It's not like I write a review every day, it's just BAD! I got a keratin treatment coupon from groupon and scheduled my appointment with jena... In total, I was there almost two hours, and I was asked not to wash my hair for 48 hours. Those two days, my hair was extremely flat. When I finally washed my hair, THERE WAS NO CHANGE IN MY HAIR! I've done keratin treatment 3 times before at different salons and I know how should the result be like , I called the salon and told them but they refused to redo my treatment, they offered 1 wash and blow dry instead, LOL ! This review is regarding Greer and my Groupon purchase. Im going to copy my review on Groupon and show you her response to it since I was shocked on how dishonest this woman is. Here is my review that I posted on Groupon: This lady is unprofessional, lack customer service skills, rude, and snobbish. I'm choosing not to discuss and share any details about what happened because its between Greer and I. But basically I purchased 6 microdermabasion sessions and I only used one of it. I will never do business with her again for reasons that: 1. Its important to have partial knowledge about your customer. Greer does not. 2. Treat the customer well and right. Greer does not. 3. Must be able to communicate properly and in a timely manner. Greer does not. Lastly, 4. Its all about client satisfaction, which Greer failed to do so in my case. These are my thoughts and opinions based on my experience. This is her response: "This woman came in with her boyfriend because she couldn't reach me for a couple days . I realized my phone was having issues . I bought a new one . I apologized , offered to make her an appt . Offered her a refund . Her boyfriend through f- bombs around the salon I work at . Some people you just can't please" First of all, I couldn't reach her for at least a week (my text messages can prove this) and I wasted my gas and time going to the salon just to speak to an insensitive individual. Second, that was a blatant lie that she apologized to me because my bf was there, and he and I swear that she did not mention or say "Im sorry" or "I apologized". Third, she never offered me a refund. I asked her for a refund and what she told me is to speak to Groupon. I don't really care for a refund, I just want great customer service. Found this place from a deal off Groupon. I bought the package of 3 facials for $100. Considering it was the best deal out there. Wrong! The facialist was rude and can't seem to work her own schedule. I was down to my last facial and contacted her numerous times to set a day and time. She never got back to me. When she did, she was going off of how I was always having to reschedule my appointment. I can't control that things happen. She was very inconsiderate and made excuses that she's booked for the entire month, but will get back to me when she gets to work. She never did! It wasn't the first time I contacted her. Every time I did, that was the same excuse she gave me. I am never coming back to this place, no matter how good the deal is. I felt so comfortable the minute I met Bridgette, not only because she has amazing hair but she's so sweet and personable. She knows what she's doing and respects the hair! If you have long hair, she knows how important it is for those that don't want too much taken off, but still can make it very stylish. I love my new layers so much better than my long, straight look. This review is about updos/air wave perm vs. beach wave perm done by Taylor. I had been into hypnotic salon a few times before but it wasn't until my past two visits that I realized I had found a perfect salon and an awesome stylist! June 8th was my senior prom. I figured I would be able to do my own hair like every other dance I had been to however this time I was not confident about my outcome. I called hypnotic very last minute for an "updo" appointment and Taylor immediately got me in. She could tell I was frustrated and stressed but worked with me to perfect the look I would want. We did sample pieces on my hair and she offered to re do it if I didn't like the outcome. That was not the case, I LOVED it first time around which is really rare for your typical high schooler who eventually goes home and changes it... My updo lasted the entire evening perfectly!!! Now for my second visit .. (Which really pushed me to write this review) For a few weeks now I had been hearing about a new type of perm called the "air wave perm" (it is from Japan). I had done a little bit of research but not much.. I found out that it is VERY expensive (150-180 dollars) and if not done by someone VERY experienced could burn off your hair... So I called Taylor and asked if she offered it, the salon had never heard of it but she said she would re search it and call me back with more information.. She found the same information I had regarding it and told me about a safer healthier way to going about the look I wanted. It's called A beach wave perm. She had gotten tips from some friends and bought new rollers for my appointment. It was Taylor's first time doing this TYPE of perm (she's really experienced though) you could tell she knew exactly what she was doing even though this was a new type if perm. I'm glad I put my trust in her, it was fun waiting to see the outcome and it was SO worth it! She even trimmed my hair up a bit at the end. I'm in love with my new beach hair and can't wait to get it re-done again before I go off to college! Love, love, love this salon and especially Taylor. A big thanks to Groupon for leading me here. I am so impressed. Let me start off by saying that this was a bold move for me. I am scared crazy of having someone new anywhere near my hair after an insanely bad experience at another salon a few years back (I won't name drop, however, I really want to). I had always just stuck with what was familiar to me. My regular hairstylist ended up moving all over the world (literally) and I was pretty down about it. I had friends and family doing my hair since that time. For the record, they do good hair, but I think that there is a hesitation there because they are friends/family. I get it, but I was definitely ready for a change. I must admit that I originally thought I might be a fool for going through Groupon to find that change, but I couldn't have been more wrong. I bought their Groupon now deal which was $85 for a cut, shampoo, partial highlight and style to use before 4pm. I called right away at 12pm right after I bought it and they were able to accommodate a 3pm appointment. Flawless. Awesome. First star. So I live in Yorba Linda, but the salon is in Tustin. I know my way around there pretty well, but still, this place was almost too easy to find and it was easy to park my car. Star number two right there. I walk into the salon and my first impression was how cute and clean it was. Star number three. Taylor was sitting at the front desk when I walked in and she introduced herself and took me back to her station right away. I knew just by taking one look at her that she was my kind of people. Very down to earth, personable and she gives a thorough consult prior to even starting on your hair. Star number four. I even had a good time while I was there just chatting. All of these girls are so nice. Star number five goes to the awesome final product which is obviously my hair. When it came right down to it, I trusted her professional opinion and put my hair's fate fully in her hands and I couldn't be happier about that decision. My hair looks and feels amazing! I am most definitely going back to Taylor and I actually made an appointment for my 6 year old daughter to get a haircut from her as well. The only downside to this salon is that they have metal roofs that interfere with ur cell phone signal. This might not be a big deal to some and it might not be so bad for everyone depending on ur carrier (I have T-Mobile) but I rely on my phone for work so I hafta have it on me with service at almost all times. It was also a bit of a pain when trying to pull the Groupon up on my phone. This is not their fault and it doesn't warrant knocking anything off the rating. It is merely a tip for anyone going there for the first time. It all worked out because I was able to leave my phone at the front desk where it got service the whole time and it definitely won't keep me from returning. I hafta give credit to Taylor once again for being so patient with me with that issue as I kept having to occasionally get up and go check it. Let's admit it.. we judge a hair dresser on how good their hair looks. Well, Victoria is always sporting the coolest and cutest hairstyles. Always unique and totally classy. I knew I had to try her out to style my locks. I only wish I had the balls to wear cute colors and styles like she does! Victoria is awesome. She really listened to what I wanted and it came out just how I asked. I got partial highlights and layers, and she's great with color and cut. She even gave me a groupon deal, so I got a free deep conditioning. My hair felt so silky smooth afterwards. As for price, I found it to be very affordable, and the whole salon seems quite professional. Sometimes I worry about that awkward conversation you have to try and come up with while the hairstylist is doing your hair, but Victoria is so sweet and personable.. she made me feel really comfortable and welcome. The salon itself is SO cute too! It has that pinup/old hollywood look and all the girls working there seem to have that style. So if you're ballsier than I am I bet they can do just about any cool color and style you like! As a side note, be really careful about where you park... watch out for any signs, they will tow you if you're in the wrong spot. Anyway, you should totally check out this salon. I was stressing the past couple weeks on to where i wanted to get my hair done. Going from red to blonde is not an easy task, i knew that coming into it, and i'll have to pay a good chunk of money. I called on a Saturday morning and they could see me an hour later, AWESOME!! I went here based on the fact I had a groupon and a co worker had mentioned that she got one too and was really happy with her stylist, Taylor, who i also ended up with.. I knew i was gonna pay a lot more for my color and even then they knocked off 10 dollars of the weaving. That in it self makes the customer feel special, they didn't scare me with prices and we're honest. Taylor was awesome! As much as i wanted to leave the salon a blonde again, she guided me in the right direction that would be healthy for my hair and keep it budget friendly. I was still scared, but who isn't in the chair. Long story short my color turned out great! I never had streaky hair, and even though i still have to go back to get my complete blonde, i didn't leave unhappy at all. Before i went in I read some yelp reviews and my stylist was given a thumbs down for a cut she had given. The complaint was that she made the customers hair to choppy. I feel the need to defend her on that because I got asked for a choppy layers and she did a great job! It really depends on the client and she took her time with me step by step on the cut. I not only love the salon, I love the quaint little setting in Old Town Tustin. I go to Hailey who is a magician with color. I'm always afraid to try new stylists because my hair is both curly and fine (an unusual combination) which makes it a not-so-straightforward task. Hailey nailed the cut on the first try. No small feat in my experience. The entire staff is friendly and the shop is cute and inviting. The only reason it doesn't get a 5 star from me is that it gets really, really hot in there before they want to turn on the AC. Sweating like a pig is not so conducive to feeling cute. read more

She is a color genius and I love the blow dry that I leave with every time I walk out of the salon. I have long hair and have never waited long or been there for over 2 hours for my color, weave, cut and blow dry. Prices haven't gone up too much over the years, and only 1 time in 9 years did I go back to get something fixed that I wasn't happy with - and it was super minor, and Tiffany fixed it with pleasure and did not charge me. All of the services I've had here were beyond excellent. Today I got a haircut and highlights from Candy, and she was great. I'm not the type of salon goer who can chat or keep up small talk/gossip. I'm pretty quiet in general. But she was cool with that and I've also never had highlights professionally done, and they came out subtle and spectacular. A haircut and highlights came to $175, which is a lot for a college student. A bit more than I had thought and wanted to be spending. This is about Greer for microdermabrasion. I'm very very disgusted at Groupon for still offering her service after so many complaints. Her ads mislead as if she offers facial with microdermabrasion but all I got is 2min scrub from an old machine that I don't think it has ever been sanitized. Her place is unsanitary with yellowish smelly bed linen and hard ruff facial towel. I can smell alcohol on her breath given my appointment is on Saturday morning. Wasted my time going back and forth. I bought a series of 4 for over $60. Thanks but no thanks because I would never go back. I may get skin infection from her treatments. So happy to have found this fabulous place. The location is ideal. The staff are all around amazing. The services are superb. Even the decor is wonderful. The atmosphere the staff create is fun, warm, & inviting. First off this was probably the 5th plus salon I'd called, trying to find a colorist willing to use my Pravana dye and touch up my roots. Alot of the OC salons around here do not like to work outside their normal brunette/blonde/red head comfort zone. Thankfully that's not the case here. The first time I called here I truly lucked out and spoke to Tara. I immediately liked her. She was so easy going & positive. She said it was not an issue to use my dye, and there was a small fee. How easy is that?! I made an appointment that week. If I thought I liked her over the phone, I was smitten in person. She was so personable, friendly, and awesome. My hair was fairly fried from bleaching and lack of a haircut. I fully expected to have to cut it really short, but was pleasantly surprised. Tara worked her magic and I left with healthy hair. I had a wedding to go to a couple days later, and the style she did actually stayed so I didn't need another salon trip. Magic! I've been here twice now, and both times I leave feeling amazing about my hair. I actually like my hair immediately, because she listens & does what I ask. My old colorist never did this.
