As I had no other way to verify this, I took them at their word and accepted their explanation. For full transparency, however, it is worth noting that this communication came less than 24 hours after I had posted my initial review. The repair technician arrived at my home the same day, and spent approximately 90 minutes going back over the previous repair work and going much more in-depth in this second go-round. After completing the work, he explained what he did, what he found, and then ran a cycle through my dishwasher. The next day, I ran another cycle, and the leaking issue had been fixed. As I am someone who does believe in giving people and businesses second chances and opportunities, and because I have seen them perform excellent and professional work before (see my original review), I am likely to give them my business at least once more to see that this experience is an outlier and not their typical course of business.

So he comes and charges $99. And it would go towards the repair if decided to move forward. He comes and takes about 5-10 minutes and tells me it is the igniter and it would be $347. for total. I already had done my research and know that the part is $35 and I could pickup from a local appliance part store in Montgomery County. Or order directly from Whirlpool for under $50. So when I asked him how much is the part, He said $149. Then I asked him if he had the igniter already or would he have to order it? He said he's prepared & has it in his box. I had then asked him to see what it looked like. That's when he tells me " I cannot show that to you, I have already told you too much information about it." That's when I put an end to it. I will not put up with shady business people, businesses allowing this. I paid the $99. As first agreed and told him to get out of my house. He is an older man that needs to realize that people ( no matter the gender or race of their clients, potential and now-Never). Do not assume that the general public do not research before they reach out to you from online!!!!! The only good thing I will add: The early on communicating about eta arrival. That is the only thing he was good about. And he used my paper towel on the counter, and left the dirty used ones on my counter. The nerve! I would have NO stars, if allowed. So this is the only reason why it has a one. I shouldn't have even paid the $99. In my opinion due to the whole dishonesty. But he was in my house already.

Robert knows exactly what needs to be done and he's thorough, and takes time to explain what went wrong and why. In our dishwasher, for example, he gave us tips on extending its life/ efficiency, and the wisdom of using dishwasher liquids like Cascade - at least every other wash- instead of pods, due to tendency of the platinum pods use, over time, to inhibit proper drainage. Chris came to my home the very next day, which I greatly appreciated because I needed the repair completed as soon as possible. My gas fireplace kept going out, and I frequently had to relight the pilot light. Chris performed a thorough cleaning and noticed that the burner appeared to be very dirty and clogged, even though I had the fireplace cleaned and serviced in January 2026. He also checked my outside vents and found a bird's nest that appeared to have been there for quite some time, blocking the airflow. This could have created a very serious fire hazard. The fireplace is now working perfectly, and I am extremely happy and appreciative of Chris's work.

They did come to take a look rather quickly (only saving grace), but then said they had to order a part. Weeks went by and no communication from them to me or to the home warranty company. Was told the part was on it's way...but then days later my claim was marked as completed. Had to go through the entire process again with another company and waste time and energy on something that should have been handled correctly. If your home warranty company assigns your claim to this company immediately ask for a reassignment. And if you happen upon them and don't have a home warranty - keep looking. The 1-star reviews are not wrong.
