    I will never use them nor would I recommend them to anyone. I contacted them via Yelp messages…read more Knowing exactly what I need to repair the oven part of my gas range. I needed an igniter. So he comes and charges $99. And it would go towards the repair if decided to move forward. He comes and takes about 5-10 minutes and tells me it is the igniter and it would be $347. for total. I already had done my research and know that the part is $35 and I could pickup from a local appliance part store in Montgomery County. Or order directly from Whirlpool for under $50. So when I asked him how much is the part, He said $149. Then I asked him if he had the igniter already or would he have to order it? He said he's prepared & has it in his box. I had then asked him to see what it looked like. That's when he tells me " I cannot show that to you, I have already told you too much information about it." That's when I put an end to it. I will not put up with shady business people, businesses allowing this. I paid the $99. As first agreed and told him to get out of my house. He is an older man that needs to realize that people ( no matter the gender or race of their clients, potential and now-Never). Do not assume that the general public do not research before they reach out to you from online!!!!! The only good thing I will add: The early on communicating about eta arrival. That is the only thing he was good about. And he used my paper towel on the counter, and left the dirty used ones on my counter. The nerve! I would have NO stars, if allowed. So this is the only reason why it has a one. I shouldn't have even paid the $99. In my opinion due to the whole dishonesty. But he was in my house already.

He was efficient and did the job in only two hours repairing my washer so it no longer leaks water out front door; repaired my dryer so it gets hot to dry clothes. I highly recommend Doctor Appliance. (Samsung upright washer and dryer).

    DO NOT USE. I don't think these guys are actually pure scammers, but their quality of work, level…read moreof professionalism, and customer service is extremely poor. I actually was connected to them for a dishwasher and wine cooler repair by scheduling via the www.appliance-pros.com website, which I did not realize is actually a subcontracting service and not an actual stand-alone appliances repair service because it's in the fine print on their website. If I had realized, I wouldn't have hired a business with such bad online reviews. I was supposed to receive a call 30 minutes ahead of time to know when the technician would arrive. Never received the call. A technician named Sam showed up for the appointment - I didn't notice at the time that he was just wearing sweats and not a uniform - fiddled with some buttons on the dishwasher and unplugged it, all the while speaking very quietly with someone on his cell in a foreign language, and then pressed me to remember the error code it was giving because he couldn't get it to show on the panel. I said I didn't remember and he kept pressing to the point of being rude. After thinking for a moment I said I thought it was either X or Y, and he said ok based on that a certain part was needed. He correctly diagnosed the wine cooler issue but that's just because it was a door seal issue so pretty obvious (I already knew that). He took a $450 deposit for both. He said they don't accept card and only take check, which struck me as a little odd but not totally abnormal in my experience - lesson learned. The check was cashed that day. He said he didn't have the part for the wine cooler and would need to order that, and said he didn't have the replacement part for the dishwasher on hand so would need to pick it up from their warehouse and come back to do the repair another day. Without asking whether it would work for me first, he said he would return the next day, which was Saturday. I said I would be out of town for the weekend and he found that irritating, both visibly and in his tone. We settled on a weekday. The morning of the second appointment, I received the error message again on the dishwasher so called the phone number on the invoice because it was a different error code than what I originally told Sam. I explained the situation to the man on the phone and asked if they needed to reschedule since it would require a different part. He was extremely rude from the start, arguing with me (I was not arguing with him) and first saying that the technician would need to come anyway because they can't tell anything over the phone, then switched to saying he would need to talk to him first and call me back, then switched to saying that he would not be coming at all that day, and then switched back to he would talk to him to find out if they had the part in stock and then call me back. l didn't receive a call back so I followed up and this time Sam answered. I was told that the original dishwasher part would still work but it actually wouldn't arrive for a couple more days so he would call me when it came in to schedule a time to come. At that point I'd seen all of the reviews here and on the BBB, and I said I'd like to just cancel the service and he said "ok" and hung up. I honestly wonder if the parts had even been ordered yet even though he was supposed to complete the repair that day. It's too late to stop payment on my deposit check. What's worse, it felt like a lot of their rudeness, dismissiveness and condescension was a result of me being a woman - something I've never experienced with the dozens of repairmen from all over the world that I've had in my home over the years. My fault for not seeing the red flags of a poorly operated business but these guys are pretty lousy. Stay away!!
