They did come to take a look rather quickly (only saving grace), but then said they had to order a part. Weeks went by and no communication from them to me or to the home warranty company. Was told the part was on it's way...but then days later my claim was marked as completed. Had to go through the entire process again with another company and waste time and energy on something that should have been handled correctly. If your home warranty company assigns your claim to this company immediately ask for a reassignment. And if you happen upon them and don't have a home warranty - keep looking. My experience with Appliance Keep Up LLC was extremely alarming and absolutely not what any customer should ever deal with. They missed multiple scheduled appointments, provided almost no communication, and kept dragging the situation out with repeated claims that they "needed more parts," yet never actually fixed anything. The level of disorganization and unprofessional behavior I encountered was shocking. Based on what I personally went through, I strongly warn anyone considering this company: be extremely cautious and do NOT pay anything upfront under any circumstances. American Home Shield (AHS) sent this company to repair my fridge. Its been a month and my fridge is still not repaired. The first red flag is that they were no call, no show for two appointments. The second red flag is that I sent them the fridge information to order a part on 10/14 and they did not put any information into AHS system until 10/28, including the part order. The third red flag is th extremely poor customer service. The technician blames everything on the boss and claims he does know much. The boss never answers the phone of take accountability for communication issues on his part. I asked AHS to step in and assign a new vendor but they refused. I may leave AHS after this experience because they're clearly aware they're using subpar vendors and continue to allow their customers to go through this. read more

we had a very similar experience with this company as some folks here have already stated. AHS sent these guys to fix our oven. they never did but told AHS that they completed the repairs. AHS was gushing with apologies when we complained but didnt agree to finish repairs or replace the appliance. we only wound up with a nonfunctional oven months after making the claim. we now have to go a buy a new oven out of pocket. I can not recommend AHS or Appliance Keep Up as a reliable choice or good value. read more

It took them two weeks to come out and diagnose our dishwasher. They said they were going to come out the first time we called and they did not. After diagnosing, they said they would order a part. I called after a week to follow-up and left a message, no response. It has been two weeks. They are on a list for the home warranty company we have, Old Republic. They need to be taken off. I went into Old Republic to check on status and it stated that it was "closed." What?!?! read more

Appliance Keep Up was assigned to fix our fridge by our home warranty company (American Home Shield). The sent a tech out that diagnosed it and said he had to order parts. They sent another tech out a few days later that contradicted the first tech. When calling the company after they went radio silent, when I finally got through they said they had to order parts. I continued trying to call them - often having to go through American Home Shield to reach them. They consistently do not pick up the phone, sending the caller to a voicemail box that is full. Multiple calls result in an auto-response text message that the caller is in a meeting and will call back. After several weeks of being strung along, they report to AHS that the fridge could not be repaired. I've tried to reach out for a written report related to their findings but now they forward me directly to their always-full voice mail. read more

Appliance keep up is committing fraud and breach of contract and my family's contacting the district attorney to start legal action /possible lawsuit. Read the other reviews you will find the exact pattern of incompetence, no- it's willful malicious fraud. Ours is the same story as many others here, technician comes out sent by our Home warranty, (Ours is "Cinch HW") , they are being put on notice that we are getting our $200 deductible back, we were told stove igniter needs to be replaced, ordering the part. Couple weeks go by, we start calling Appliance Upkeep, call goes to a full voicemail box/ can't leave a message. I tried calling again from my cell, got a text message just like many others leaving reviews here -"in a meeting will call you back." No call back- finally did get a hold of this very sleepy sounding guy, who lied and said oh we're getting the part (after we were told they got the part - we had an appointment for a Wednesday- they didn't show), I said that's not true you told us you had the part and you didn't show up. I came to look at these reviews-didn't think I would have to do that in the first place -come to find that many of these consumers then find out appliance keep up told the warranty company that the work was completed. That's the fraud and the breach of contract because they don't complete the work,  they get their money and they disappear. i'm going to ask the district attorney to freeze their assets in lieu of a lawsuit  collecting compensation for their negligence and fraud.  Hello home warranty companies? you're on notice- you send out this company, you are complicit with their fraud and their ( no YOUR )  breach of contract. This company, and I use the term loosely, was assigned to us for a washer repair (not draining) from Old Republic Home Warranty. They showed up (unexpectedly after my husband called for an ETA or day they would come), diagnosed the issue, and said the would need to order the part. The part was told would arrive on 11/20/2024. After contacting them the day of b/c no one notified us of when and if they would be coming, we were told that the part wasn't there and it would be there the next day. This same pattern ( us calling them and them pushing the days back) until Saturday when they gave us a few sad stories on why they could not come. Fast forward to Monday 11/25/2024 when we were told by them they would come between 9-12. 12:45 came and I called OR to inform them other the lack of communication and fulfillment of the work order. The vendor wanted to complete the work order and at this point, I wanted to cancel and transfer to another company. Against my better judgement, I allowed them to come and repair the piece as they cried about not being able to return it (you're a company, that is not the consumers issue). Once they left, we ran the washer, which is on the second floor, and noticed that water marks began to appear. We immediately called OR and told them what had happened and they said they would send the company out for a priority to correct whatever was going on. This was 11/25/2024 and they never called or showed. I contacted them on 12/02/2024 after receiving confirmation that they work order was still assigned to them only to be told the job was completed. When I corrected him and told them it was not, I was told to call OR and hung up on. Needless to say, this "company" needs to be removed from all warranty companies. They are unprofessional, unreliable, and unaccountable for the damage that they caused from janky service. I would have definitely not allowed the services had I done my homework. Save yourself the lawsuit. We now haw a leaking washer and roof. A leaking washer was not the initial work order issue. read more

We were assigned to Appliance Keep Up through American Home Shield after their mix up on having our dishwasher replaced. I called AKU right after they were assigned to do the work and got a voicemail twice. I looked at the company's website and they didn't have any business hours listed. I was called back an hour later and told they could come out that same day in the afternoon to do the work. Sure enough the installers came and were friendly. They took a little over an hour to install the dishwasher. However, they left several pieces of garbage behind and random bits like screws before departing. I'm giving this place 3 stars because its value was perfectly adequate but nothing amazing if you happened to be assigned them through AHS or don't have another option. read more

Absolutely terrible service in every way - please save yourself the trouble of using them if you can. They were assigned to fix my fridge that kept freezing everything inside thru AHS. At first, they replaced the thermostat and control box. When that didn't fix the problem, they tried to do the same job. It took months for them to go through this process and it is still not fixed. In that time, they missed 6 separate appointments. They do not answer their phone consistently. More and more, they would lie when speaking on the phone. EX: I would call to ask what time the tech would be there the morning of the appointment. The person on the other end would answer, tell me the tech had already been there. I would respond that it is not possible because A) I live here so unless they broke into the house to do the work it they couldn't have come and B) why would I be calling asking when they would get here if they had already been here. So then he would agree, and call me back. When they call back, they said that the tech missed my appointment because of "human error" and that "things happen"; mind you, this was after the 6th missed appointment. Then they would get upset when I could not move my day around to reschedule the appointment they missed for a day/time that was convenient for them After the tech finally came and stated they would recommend to replace the fridge entirely to AHS, I called today for a status and the guy who answered stated that they requested the job be given to another company because their tech claims everything is fine and they don't know why we keep scheduling service - which is not what the tech actually said. Then he hung up on me. 6 months later, nothing is fixed and water bottles in the door of the fridge freezes after a few days. But maybe to them that means everything is fine. Warranty company sent a tech out that spent a whole 20 minutes to replace an ice maker in my Bosch refrigerator. Closed out his own work order (with his- not my signature ) immediately after and said to wait 3 hours for ice to recycle. I waited 3 hours and opened the freezer and the ice maker fell into the ice bin. Called him back and was told by his supervisor I need a new work order. They billed my warranty service and stated repairs completed. Repair was a total joke. Took a photo of the repair van. They specialize in washer/dryer & lawn equipment. Icemaker parts came in and technician came back said it was "fixed" and I would have ice in a few hours. 10 days later, no ice, company does not answer phone, does not even have a proper recording for their answering system, and they NEVER call back. Found out from AHS that Appliance Keep Up "forgot" to order the parts for the microwave and when called on it ordered the microwave parts 10 days later. Needless to say, my microwave is not fixed either. 5 weeks later my appliances are still not working, and I have wasted a lot of time and energy trying to keep a company accountable that has absolutely no idea how to communicate effectively or provide good customer service. This company was called by my warranty company (Fidelity) when my electric cooktop wasn't working. Customer Service rep was professional and was able to get my repair scheduled within a couple of days. They sent a text reminder the day before and the repairman called 30 mins before so I didn't have to hang out during the 3 hour appointment window. The best part is he discovered some burned out parts, replaced them, and the cooktop is good as new! Totally expected that we would have to order parts but he had what he needed on his truck. This cooktop is 22 years old and 120v which is now possible to find a replacement so I was beyond thrilled it was able to be fixed! Can't say enough good things about how effortless my interaction was with this company and it's employees. This ended up being the best outcome I could have asked for! Thank you Keepe Up! I'm honestly not sure if this company actually fixes anything, or if they only come out, make a claim, order parts, charge the warranty company and then wait the warranty company out with a total runaround. This is obviously a scam company. If your home warranty company hooks you up with them, have it changed ASAP. You will save yourself time and headache. If I could leave zero stars, I would. I was assigned Appliance Keep Up by my home warranty company to repair my fridge. Within a couple of days they came to my home to diagnose the issue. It took the guy less than 5 minutes to realize what the issue was. He said they had to order the parts which take 5 days to deliver and they'd be back. I thought 5 days was a bit long but I was willing to wait. After a week, I heard nothing from the company. I called them and received a voicemail message. I left a message and waited a couple of days to receive a call back. Nobody called. I called over and over again. I called my home warranty company and they called. No answer. I left messages and called consistently. My wife even called a few times and someone finally answered the phone and didn't like her tone so they hung up on her. I kept on calling and finally, a guy named Jacob answers the phone and says "Oh ok, I have your paperwork right here. My earliest available is Tuesday" (this call was on a Friday). I said "Fine, I'll take it" Tuesday comes and the guy comes in with limited tools and no parts. I thought that was weird but I was just glad he was there. He opens my fridge and says "Oh I've already diagnosed this fridge. I thought I recognized your house when I pulled up." Then he tells me that they must've mixed my paperwork in with the diagnosing pile. He was there to DIAGNOSE MY FRIDGE AGAIN! I told him well I need my fridge fixed then asked him when he would return. He said "I promise someone will be back within the next 24 hours". I asked him to take my number down and call me once he can confirm that. Nobody ever called back. I called multiple times again for the next 2 weeks and nobody would answer. I contacted my home warranty company and they said that the company still needed to order the part. WHAT???! I wait another few days and call to see what the status is. Finally, after numerous calls, Jacob answers again. He said "Oh we just got the part. We can be there in a couple of days" I schedule it again. I take off work again and nobody shows up. I call and nobody answers. I got so frustrated that I decided to report them to the Better Business Bureau, who also can't do anything. They were no help. I went to the Office of Consumer Protection and reported them. They were on it immediately. Within a week, a technician from Appliance Keep Up called me and told me that my case was marked urgent and that they needed to make the repair within 48 hours. I wasn't going to believe it until I saw them actually fixing it. 2 days later the technician came and fixed the main issue but didn't fix a couple of other smaller issues. I needed the handle on my freezer replaced and a vent cover in the freezer to cover the fan which would prevent the air from blowing in and freezing over the motor which was the cause of the main issue. The technician tells me that he'll order those parts and schedule another day to come back. I told him not to bother. Just give me the part numbers and I will order it and fix it myself (which I did). It took 2 months for my fridge to get fixed. Had I not contacted the Office of Consumer Protection, I would still be waiting. If you're stuck in the same bind as I am, contact the Office of Consumer Protection and they will help you out. This company should be out of business and hopefully they will be soon enough. read more

I saw the negative reviews, but Appliance Keep Up was assigned to fix our refrigerator by American Home Shield (AHS), so we went with them. We could not have had a better experience! The first technician came to our house and saw we needed to order parts to fix the compressor and the ice maker. While the parts took about a week to arrive, David keep me apprised the entire time. As soon as the parts arrived, Jesse came out to install them. When Jesse discovered that the parts didn't work with some unusual wiring (we had gotten the refrigerator used and didn't know its history), he worked with AHS to get us a new replacement refrigerator. David even called afterward to make sure the process of ordering our new appliance went well. We really appreciate their great customer service! read more
