I've had this several times, but last Sunday at the HFM I received this burnt focaccia. Should have looked at it before heading back home. I drive 45 - 50 min to come here.

What a great find. Exotic fresh bread, locally created on the westside of the 405 fwy. Pronounce "Hazy", the owner is Austrian-Afghan, and makes the loaf with tumeric and blue pea flower from Thailand. It's beautiful blue and yellow color is not only visually stunning, but healthy, too. When you come in, you can see the people in the kitchen making the bread by hand! Quite amazing. Once you taste it, you'll regret ever growing up eating the same, average white Wonder bread. So live a little and trying something new.

Vacationing in SoCal so had to make a trip to try Hasi Bread and so glad we did ! One of the best and beautiful focaccia bread I've eaten ! Love the vibrant color from turmeric and butterfly pea in their bread and how delicious their pastries /baked good were! Staff were friendly and the little shop was darling ! Definitely a must when visiting around that area but also worth a drive

Finally stopped into Hasi after having it on my list for the past couple of months, and I'm so glad I did. I got the almond croissant and overheard the man at the front explaining how they use butterfly pea flower and turmeric in many of their baked goods, which was such a unique touch. The space itself is beautiful. You can see the production room on the left where everything is being made, and on the right there's a gorgeous counter filled with sourdough loaves and pastries. I took the almond croissant home and warmed it up for a couple of minutes, and wow. The filling in the center was so unique and delicious, and the outer layers were perfectly crisp while still melting in your mouth. I'll definitely be back!

Just amazing! Breads: tried the olive bread, baguette, and pumpkin seed-- all were delicious! It's sold at Erewhon for $15.99. Quality bread + cultured butter hits the spot for me. Loved the novelty of purple and yellow swirl (pea flower and turmeric)! Thank you to the guy who worked Monday afternoon because he was so kind in explaining their bread (no preservatives so it should be frozen or refrigerated) and took the time to share his fave (pumpkin seed). Great cafe vibes and the pastries, though I've never tried, looked delicious!

Hasi bread This review is for my croissant. I don't know what's it in. But it was so good. Outside texture was how I like it. Nice and crispy. Inside wasn't dry. Good butter flavor but not oily. Color was beautiful. I believe it's sourdough. I need to go back and try everything here

We first saw the interesting looking breads at Erewhon and were super curious. Reading about the tumeric and pea flower ingredients which is interesting, not just as it affects the color but it's health benefits as well. Used to go to Hot Cakes (in the same space) before so thought we'd go check it out on a Sunday morning... Comfy little space where you can watch them bake through the glass. Friendly and helpful service as there is a lot to choose from and it seemed everyone had questions about the bread Grabbed a loaf of bread, a bagel and a few treats to see what the hype was all about. Everything was good, but nothing stood out. The flavor profile was not any different from other breads we had tried (although prettier). The bagel was too dense which is an unfortunate trend these days. And of course, it's expensive for what it is... Quick tip: If you didn't know, everything there is sourdough

The pastries here are really great with delicious and unique flavors. I had an earl grey blackberry pastry that was perfectly crispy and not too sweet. I also tried a cardamom caramel latte, which was great!

I've never seen bread so vibrant looking. Hasi bread uses whole grains of rye, spelt, Khorasan and a mix of blue pea flower and turmeric root to bake a bright yellow and purple swirl bread. Each slice and section of each bread is an artform. Very natural products which is a great thing and even better to see that LA has upped it's game in the bread making world. We shared a kouign amann and chocolate croissant. I could taste the natural ingredients. In the future, I'll have to try their sourdough and other breads. Overall, great and healthy baked products.

The highlight of my Saturday was visiting Häsi Bread! I stepped in and of course it was busy, but the line wasn't too long and everyone, the staff and customers alike, were all so personable. It looks like the perfect place to sit and read on a weekend morning or meet with a friend, or even meet new people. The staff answered my questions about the breads and were very helpful. I was offered a few samples of the sweeter breads and I'm so looking forward to coming back and trying different loaves. I ordered the original loaf as it was my first time here and a cappuccino. The coffee was so creamy and delicious, and just as beautifully presented! And the moistness and flavor of the loaves match the presentation of the bread. I've been wanting to check this place out for a while now, as someone who loves making sourdough, it's so cool to get to try artisan bread and appreciate it as an art form, and especially bread as beautiful as the loaves at Häsi bread!

I am so excited to see that there is a Hasi bread near me in the O.C. (SoCo the Mix). I stumbled upon their Los Angeles store via the Too Good to Go app. Just outside of Venice and Marina Del Rey, it's not a spot I would have happened upon on my own. Loved being able to see the production room, and instantly knew with the amount of locals casually hanging around on a beautiful weekend day that this was a great find! Some tables outside, couches and chairs inside, cozy. Everything looked delicious! I ended up with a savory focaccia and a sourdough loaf with inclusion of garlic. Pleasantly surprised. There's no better bread than a sourdough from a starter. And the colors are beautiful! Once home I sliced up the sourdough loaf and was surprised to find garlic cloves, but the flavors worked. Paired the loaf with some apricot jam in the morning, quite delightful. I sliced up the focaccia and grilled up a tuna melt with a fresh tomato and it was oh so delicious. Looks like some online ordering may be available. Menu is online. A very eclectic variety of customers, but I can see why they all flock here. Good food, good people. You definitely don't want to miss this!

    Orange cocoa cappuccino
    Krystal H.

My boyfriend and I came here to grab a quick bite before heading to the dog park I'd give it a solid 2.5/3 stars The green apple caramel Matcha really did taste like you were biting into a caramel covered green apple. The orange cocoa cappuccino tasted like one of those wonderful balls. I had a bite of the fig and brie pastry, but I had the portobello pesto flatbread. My boyfriend had the pepperoni flatbed and wheat shared the Spanikopta Overall, flavors are great. The bread is solid, but I think the price puts this at a place. I would not want to come back. We spent almost $80 for all of our items. My boyfriend spent almost $50 buying our two drinks and two pastries and the additional pastries I purchased were around $20. Each item is priced anywhere between 7 to 9 dollars apiece a little to high of a cost to justify a return Although the food was good, it just wasn't feeling enough to be at that price point to warrant a return in our opinion

    Marko C.

What a great artisanal bakery in Culver. They have so many different types of head and pastries! The staff are welcoming and efficient. This bakery specializes in the butterfly blue flour flower and tumeric flour. The breads have a mix of blue purple and yellow. So fun to eat!

It's pretty fun to see that they came up with more seasonal items lately and most of them nailed it well when they came to cookies. Previously the lemon one and the most recent was the Raspberry Pistachio which I was impressed by as I just fancied sweet and refreshing combo of white chocolate and raspberry. The pistachio added more texture to it for sure. Same as any Levain cookies, best enjoyed warm and fresh out of oven. The Cookie Milk Latte was actually the main reason bringing me here, yet I was bit let down by it as I was expecting more malty cookie flavor in the drink. Delicious drinks and creative pastries!…read more Tried Fondry LA and the matcha vanilla pistachio drink was definitely the highlight--so delicious and perfectly sweet without needing any sweetness adjustment. Easily my favorite thing I tried! The tofu cream croissant toast was airy and light, with a creamy topping that wasn't overly sweet. The mushroom béchamel was savory and good. I only got it because my brother suggested it. Normally I would not seek mushroom pastries even though I like mushrooms. The yuzu meringue croiffin was good, but I am not used to tart flavors in croissant/pastry combination. The cafe is very tiny, with only one table for seating, so it's more of a grab-and-go spot. The only note is the pistachio cream is pretty runny, so it's hard to cut and share, as the cream just oozes out. The workers there are super friendly and kind.
