This facility is clean because it's brand new and the staff is friendly but proved to be INCOMPETENT while I was there. Failed for SEVERAL MONTHS to provide me with receipts which I specifically asked for at the time of signing up. Every month I had to go in or call to get my receipt. Each time either Linda or Maureen reassured me that they would fix the problem. I finally had to move because I have enough work to do without tracking down a receipt for my expense report. How hard can it be to print and mail a receipt?? One month they double billed my credit card. So make sure to check what they are doing if you are on auto pay. This month, June, received several emails and letters saying my rent was past due even though I went in in MARCH and told them I had a new credit card and filled out the authorization form. Had to call them so they would look in their own file to charge the correct card. They keep their carts locked up so you have to go into the office each time and give them your driver's license and get a key to use them. Very inconvenient if you use it for work and need to go there a lot. You have to punch in a code at the elevator too and the elevator is SLOW. For those of you using your storage unit for work I say, stay far away from this place. read more

Finally got the last of my things out of i5 Storage facility. It is very clean and secure and also has neat car themed "streets" and bad ass classic rock just loud enough to enjoy and be able-bodied. The employees are friendly and for such an upgraded facility it is very reasonably priced in comparison to most other out dated facilities in the area. My only cons are the distance from unit to loading /unloading area which has just one way in and out, and the parking area is quite small and can get crowded and very frustrating to work around. Some inconsiderate tenants back their vehicles so that it blocks most of the entry way which can make moving large items difficult at times. Some take more of the parking space than is needed and outside of the yellow area is towing and fire zones...anyway, I try not to let the small things get the better of me. I would definitely use these facilities in the future if needed and I would also recommend it to friends and family. Thank you. read more

This a new facility so everything looks pretty nice and new. It is a hassle to get in and out, but it only creates a false sense of security I have entered without entering a code and the same is true of the gate and the elevator. If you want to use their carts you have to get a key at the office, which likewise is a pain, then you have return the key, likewise a pain. The prices are very high, you get a discount if you do an online reservation, but the price is only good for six months. After six months, they will jack up the price with no notice. It was sticker shock for me. I am paying over $200 a month, so needless to say I have to move out as quickly as possible. In short i would describe it as a nice, but very expensive and inconvenient place. read more

This place is awesome. We had to move out of our apartment rather quickly (6 days notice due to rat infestation) and decided to put all of our stuff in storage. This place had a deal going on and was close by so we reserved a spot. Checked it out and let me say WOW. I've only been to a few storage units in my life, but this was hands down the cleanest, best customer service, best security I've ever seen. We have had a really crappy week, this was the easiest thing to handle and honestly the only good thing from this past week. The 1 and only down side is the place closes at 7, so when you're moving and your bf works til 8pm every night he has to take a day off of work. But I would still recommend this place to EVERYONE. I've rented storage about 6 times in the last several years, each time somewhere different. This was the best experience I've had with a storage facility. Their special pricing on the size unit I needed brought me there, and their great customer service, excellent security, extreme cleanliness and great location will keep me there for as long as I need it this time. Overall, a great place for self storage! It is pretty clean, very secure, and the staff is nice. The office area has a clean bathroom to use, water after a hard day of moving, and drinks to purchase too. They even have hand sanitizer - yes, it is the small things that matter sometimes. The rates are fair, they aren't the cheapest or the most expensive. My only suggestion thus far is to upgrade the moving carts. The ones provided aren't the greatest, on the smaller side, and are not that heavy duty. I'd suggest upgrading to more industrial grade, heavier duty carts that makes the lives of storage renters more easier when moving. Great deal of first months free too is a great bonus! They also have a free move-in truck to use, and another cargo van to rent anytime should you need it. I highly recommend this place whether you are storing stuff for short or long-term. Their 1 restroom was nice, clean, and stocked well. They advertise the use of their internet for their customers, just don't get too comfortable using it. They will run you out. I-5 Storage was so helpful from the phone call we made yesterday to the setup of our storage unit in person today. They were willing to answer all of our questions honestly and provided great service throughout our interactions. The rates were competitive with local facilities and we were able to use the $40 for $100 Yelp deal to help out with our finances as well. The storage facility is in a business park in Tustin which seems like a very safe area, they have a gated facility with a unique code for each unit owner to get in and out of the gate and also at the elevator. They sell a lock that is less likely to break into than a typical Master lock (harder to pick/break) for only $12. They have 24-hour surveillance cameras, access only during business hours so typically the location is staffed while people will be accessing units (except some corporate use can access at night). The entire facility is clean and well lit and very organized with a computerized map of available units so he could help find us the most convenient unit to the elevator on the 2nd floor. They guarantee the rate for something like a year, they set up monthly payments based on the day you start and do not prorate if you stay too long (they will tell you this up front if you ask). So if you start on the 29th of the month and move out the 30th of a month, you will have to pay for a full month. This makes sense but just be smart about it and don't complain later on if you didn't realize it. I-5 Storage was so helpful with the setup of the storage unit and I hope for a good experience when I go back to pick up my belongings later on. Thanks guys! read more

We couldn't go with an average run of the mill storgage facility becuase of the value of what we were storing in the unit. This place is super secure. Pass codes to get in and out. Cameras everywhere. This let me rest assured that everything that I was storing was going to be ultra secure. I like how the place is clean. The staff was always accomodating to us. There were times when I needed late access and with one phone call, they took care of giving me late access. It was not temperature controlled, however, I visited my storage unit almost every other week for 5 months and it was always a mild comfortable temperature perfect for storing anything. The lobby has a childrens area with a dvd and toys. You can buy supplies on site. They were better priced than U-haul. (I don't know about anyone else because I just looked at the two places.) This is an upscale storage facility and if I ever needed storage again, I would recommend it and would go back in a heart beat. Keep up the good work: Linda, Spencer, and Catherine. We've been with this wonderful storage facility for about two years now. Linda and the other staff members are delightful to work with and they gave us a 50 percent discount off our first six months' rent. Then they gave us another discount for referring a friend! The place is very clean (even the bathrooms!) and you can actually key in your code to enter the gate from the comfort of your car. Unlike another storage place we had used before in the same city, we don't have to run out of our vehicle to punch in the numbers and then hurry back so that the gate doesn't open and close on us. When you first rent your unit, they provide a truck so you can move your things in and don't have to borrow or rent another vehicle. The office is high-tech and even offers Wi-Fi and a children's play area. I-5 Storage in Tustin also provides a convenient online payment method.
