After going to the same lash place for 8 yrs, my work schedule was changing & I wanted to find a place that had openings on my days off. This place is open 7 days a week which was great. I saw the work via Yelp & IG so I decided to give them a try. They prefer you to text to communicate & they were quick to respond. I made an appt to remove my old lashes & start fresh. I booked with Emy. I came in 15 mins before my appt thinking I had to fill out some paperwork. No one was in the front so I rang the bell. Someone came out & told me Emy was on her way & just to wait. I then asked if I needed to fill out anything & she gave me a clipboard with a questionnaire. Basic questions about your lash & eye history. Filled it out. Emy arrived a few minutes before my appt time & she introduced herself. Super nice. I told her I like them full & showed her a wispy like set from their IG page. She spent 30 mins removing my old lashes & then an hr & half to do my set. After she was done, I looked in the mirror & I didn't think they were as full as I wanted but then also thought my next fill they'll start to look fuller. It wasn't the style I was use to but it didn't look bad. I felt things poking my eye the first day & later in the evening when I would blink hard, it felt like something was poking my waterline. I thought the lashes just needed time to settle but like I mentioned I've had lash extensions for the past 8 yrs & never have a felt something like this. After a few days I started to look at my lashes more carefully. I had lash extensions under my waterline & that was what was poking me. The glue was very thick to where when I brushed from the bottom up, I couldn't really get the brush to go through the bottom. Then when my lashes started to shed, I saw 2 fans on 1 eye lash. For volume it is 1 fan per lash & I started to realize why my lash line felt sore. Then I also had some lashes fall off with 2 of my real lashes, so the isolation wasn't there. I ended up popping off majority of the lashes myself & then getting the rest removed. I really wanted to like this place & make it work bc of how close it was to my house & overall customer service, but I think they need to go over more training with their employees. They do offer a free fix up to 3 days after your appt but with what I saw happening to my lashes, I figured to just let them fall off & try another place. See pics for examples. Just know lash extensions aren't supposed to hurt or your eye feel any type of discomfort. If they do, then something wasn't done right. read more

The services have increased, but they have become lazier and cheaper with their procedures. I always liked coming here for eyelash removal. They used to wash your eyelashes before and after to remove any debris, and it was $20. Now, they've increased the price by $5 and don't even bother to wash your eyelashes before or after! Now all they do is dry-wipe your eyelashes with a Kleenex, which is just nasty because it doesn't fully wash off the chemical removers on your eyelash extensions. Recently, I booked an appointment for eyelash removal, and the technician didn't even bother to wash my eyelash extensions with water and soap. She just applied the remover, and after removing it, she dry-wiped my eyes. My eyes were stinging and burning because the technician didn't wash my eyelashes after the removal. All she did was wipe my eyes dry with a tissue. When I told her my eyes were burning, she just told me to go wash my eyes at the sink. The service prices have increased, but the quality has dramatically decreased. I had to pay someone $25 just for them to tell me to wash my own eyelashes -- that's crazy. I would say avoid this place because the quality of service doesn't match the price you're paying. I'm moving on to another place. read more

Unfortunately I realize most of the 5 star reviews here are for eyelashes, NOT brows! This review is specifically is for Xa? The gal that does microblading and eyebrow tattoos. The manager claims I was never here, but I was indeed here (see pics). They have numerous workers. So this review is for eyebrows only: Pros: Xa is really sweet! She has a good eye for beauty and is really gentle. Cons: She is TOO gentle! I've never needed FOUR sessions to get micro blading done properly. I probably won't be back... here's why. - Doesn't use current techniques (like measuring for precision or use upgraded blades). - After THREE sessions (someone else also needed 4 here!), my brows still need to be drawn in, and they're not even. - Poor, inconsistent after care instructions and she ran out of ointment - She doesn't draw your brows in or get approval before she starts tattooing. This part is really important! - Very unorganized. We booked weeks in advance; yet I got triple booked. I only learned after texting her first, and driving 30 min in traffic! - They use quality ink but she really needs to blade deeper. My eyebrows completely disappeared and faded after the first session, but I did follow all instructions. No UV, no touching it, ointment, etc. After 3 total, they're still not 100% done! I'm still drawing them in... - Bad communication. She takes days to text back All in all, my experience wasn't good. I'm sure this place is great for lashes, but not brows. read more

I've been here several times now for classic/wispy eyelash extensions and three week refills. I have to say that I really loved my most recent visit with Daisy. She was very nice, welcoming, and knew exactly how to execute a three week refill of my classic eyelash extensions. I definitely see myself coming back here as her ongoing client and would highly recommend her! I also had an encounter with Tu during a prior visit but she wasn't my lash technician. I had some lash style questions which she was able to answer and was also so nice and super personable as well! You can book appointments online and have the ability to choose your eyelash technician based on calendar availability. They are competitively priced and sometimes there is promotional pricing. When you go into the salon, you will be asked to wash your lashes with the eyelash wash and there are makeup wipes too. The appointment times may vary based on which lash style you choose and if it's it a refill or new set. Unfortunately, I need to update my review based on my last experience. I have been going to Sarah and loved my lashes that lasted 3+ weeks and really didn't need refills, but I went in anyways to maintain. But for my last appointment, Sarah was out of town, and Tu was fully booked, so they offered 20% off to try a junior artist. So I tried it. Left eye, great. Right eye, not great. She accidentally glued my top lash to my bottom lash, so I couldn't open my eyes when she was done. She then uses a q-tip or something with a liquid to separate them and it BURNED, she apologized, and eventually got Tu to come help fix it. Both ladies were nice and apologetic about it, so I was fine and went on with a smile. Now the problem is, as soon as I got home, I was losing lashes on my right eye without even touching it or getting it wet. One week comes by and I've lost more than half, I haven't even reached two weeks and about 80% of the lashes are missing. Left eye, losing at regular pace. I contacted them regarding this right eye situation, assuming my loss of lashes was from that liquid she used to separate my top and bottom lash at the END of my appointment. And their response was to come in and pay for the 2 week refill ($40), with 20% off to go back to a junior person again. I've had lashes by Sarah last 4 weeks with barely any fall out, but paying for a junior at 20% off requires me to come in and do 2 week refills??? Am I the only person who sees an issue with this? There is no customer service with Tu and her staff. I made an appointment with her and drive 30 minutes to see her. When I get there I'm told by the guy who handles her front desk that she left to pick up her kids from school. I asked if I could wait for her since I drove so far and he told me she won't be available till after 7pm. This is not how to do business. Even in the past she is always running late to the appointments and I have to wait around for her! I suggest you go to Beautiful You in Koreatown! They are much more professional and value your time! L Beauty Studio has only been opened for a little over a year. Don't let that deter you from going there because the lash quality and customer service is amazing. You can book an appointment online and pay a small deposit that will go towards your service. I love that they are open 7 days a week with early appointments starting at 9am. If you're like me and would like to take care of maintenance and errands at the beginning of the day, then this place is totally for you. I've had two volume fills here. My first with Tracy and my second with Tu. Both are nice although I like Tu's technique a little better. She's fast and precise. I didn't have to say a word to her. This was my first time getting lash extensions, and unfortunately I was dissatisfied. I told the lash lady (who didn't bother to introduce herself) that I wanted natural-looking lashes. It was clear that she didn't listen to me nor offer a consultation. She went ahead and robotically did her thing, putting on 2 layers of what did look like drag queen falsies. It looked horrendous and completely unnatural. At least she offered to take 1 layer out. After it was done, she proceeded to tell me that she had shorter extensions but did not offer the choices to me in the beginning, even though I told her it was my first time getting extensions. When I went home, I went ahead and trimmed the lashes myself. Even though this place seemed cheaper than others, to be honest, maybe I should've went elsewhere and paid more to someone who actually listened to me and took the time to give me a consultation and used their expertise to decide what was best for me, rather than get my lashes from someone who robotically put on drag queen lashes for me. EDIT: laughing at the owner's reply to my review. Does 5 seconds even count as a consultation? The lash lady asked me what I wanted and I answered natural-looking lashes. Then she did what she did. Imagine 3 sets of drag queen falsies layered and glued like you're about to give a stage theater performance of a lifetime. I didn't just get lashes, I received wings to fly myself away! Quality of lashes and glue is questionable especially since my lashes fell out alongside extensions. Took me a long time to regrow. Some of the worst lashes I ever got. I reserved a 1h 30min slot for a classic full set. It took in total less than 1h including check in and signing a waiver. Tu asked me what I like. She did not clean my lashes - that's requires to remove natural oils, otherwise the glue does not stick. The lashes looked good at first, even though they had equal length and I asked for longer in the middle. Same day they started falling out and I discovered that Tu just placed fans of 8-10 lashes everywhere!! No wonder she was so quick, that's not only a lazy shortcut. Also it damages almost everyone's natural lashes, the weight is much too heavy. No educated lash technician would do that. 5days later I lost all my lashes and they took the natural lashes with them. I got lashes many times all over the world, knowing these were bad quality technique, I still tried to maintain them - no way they can last with fans of 10! read more

Sarah communicated all the steps to me, and although it was a 50 minute process, it went by quickly. Tu does a wonderful job on my lashes! She's quick (1 - 1.5 hours for a fill) and my lashes typically last 3-4 weeks before I need to come back. IBeauty is also accommodating to my schedule by booking appointments starting as late as 6pm - do keep in mind it's best to book evening appointments in advance since it's a popular time. I usually book one week out. The shop is also super cute and clean. The parking lot is small and can sometimes be full, so I like to leave myself a time window to park in case I have to wait or park in the lot by Starbucks. This place is reasonably fair and very up to date with tech. Making Online appointment has just made it so much easier . Click, confirm and bam. You're in. They have a lot of beds with different technicians. I like to stick with only one technician, unless she's on vacation. What I appreciate about this spot is, the loud music they play so I'm distracted when I'm laying down and the speed! My fills? I chose the classic set (very simple& natural) I'm out of there in 30-45 mins. And the retention? Well.... rule 101, you gotta know how to take care of them. The lashes aren't gonna take care of themselves no matter who does em! I brush em, wash em and brush em light again. She's a great lash tech and always puts customer satisfaction first. My new review is due to the fact that they are unorganized when scheduling clients. I had an appointment scheduled back in May (writing this review a little late) for a trip I was taking. I had scheduled my appointment about 3 weeks in advanced and asked for Sarah, as always. The day comes for my appointment, I made my 30 minute drive, and when I get there the lady at the front desk tells me that Sarah is out of town. She also tells me that they have been trying to reach me, but I never got any texts or phone calls. They didn't even confirm or ask for my phone number when booking the appointment, so I'm not sure what number they are calling. No apology or anything. Just a simple statement that Sarah was out of town and I was unable to get my lashes done the day before my trip. I was incredible frustrated with their service and this place would go down the hole if it wasn't for Sarah. Their customer service sucks and they always talk behind client's backs. The only person who truly tries to make a difference and honors dissatisfied customers is Sarah. read more

They always have appointments and try their best to accommodate you into your schedule which is super nice when you're planning your refills last minute like me. I've had lash extensions for many years now and tried many difference places, but hands down the best retention on your lash extensions. Even if you rub them, shower, and sleep on your lashes, they still stay on! In addition, the prices are not as high as the other places. And they have great service! I have been going to Tu for 4 years now (after meeting her at a prior salon). She has always done a fantastic job on my lashes (I get compliments all the time!), and has always been great about accommodating my schedule since I work out of town and have limited availability. I have been getting lash extensions for about 6 years now. My first stylist was in another city (no affiliation with this salon!), and did a fairly good job- but my eyes would burn and water during the entire appointment. Since that was the only experience I had ever had- I thought it was all part of the process. I was so wrong! Thankfully Tu explained that I must have had a sensitivity to the other Salon's adhesive- and she took care to make sure that NEVER happened on her table. As I said- it has been over 4 years now, and I have never experienced discomfort of any kind during my appointments. (In fact, on several occasions I have fallen asleep because I was so relaxed!)
