Eye dr is nice although they "thought" that I was going to purchase my contacts through them so they billed my insurance for the benefit. When I went to use my benefit at another location is when I found out about this, when called out on this they reversed the order and the office staff was pretty rude about me questioning them charging for something that I did not authorize. They have lost my business! Won't be going back nor will I let my husband go back there! read more

Eye doctor doesn't care and doesn't follow what your eye prescription. They don't like to adjust accordingly. I need multifocal because that's what I want. I got the same prescription based on my old prescription from a different eye doctor. Took 4 months to finish and done but still didn't get the correct prescription. I end up taking the contacts from the old prescription. Not happy, not going back again. I'm the one using the multifocal , not the eye doctor. read more

Great experience with Dr Valenzuela. Had an 8:30 appointment and was in and out in less than an hour. The staff was very friendly and the doctor was extremely knowledgable. I appreciate someone who is efficient, respects your time, and is eager to help you understand the process of the exam and what they see throughout the exam. I enjoyed that she was able to sneak in a bit of healthy food tips to keep my eyes healthy as I get older. Will be back to get a pair of glasses for nighttime driving when I have a bit more time to browse. I was pleasantly surprised with how it all went. You should definitely give them a shot. read more

I came in on June 27, 2015 ,first time coming in to pick out a new set of frames. Nobody asked me if I needed any assistance! Probably because the whole staff was watching this poor girl at the front desk get yelled an cursed at by "Daisy". Such unethical behavior coming from an ADULT in the medical industry! My husband and I recently had appointment here and the doctor and staff were amazing. All of the tests they performed were easy (and pain-free) and the staff took extra time to explain them to me. The doctor was equally polite and knowledgable. She explained my condition in lay-man's terms and gave me s number of tips on how to protect my vision and care for my contact lenses. My husband gets uncomfortable when people contact his eyes and the doctor was incredibly patient and kind while examining him and putting in eye drops. The staff also worked hard to keep our bill down by checking everything against our insurance first. I would certainly recommend this office! read more

I walked in for my appointment and was greeted with a warm friendly welcome and smile from Jessica. Throughout my entire wait time I observed her high professional work ethics. The performance of her multitasking abilities were outstanding. She greeted every patient, tended to phone calls, she checked patients in and out in totality. She addressed their questions, concerns and any needed direction which included myself AND performed eye testing prior and after our Dr. visit. Whew! Aside from all that she never once made you feel as if she were rushing and she was completely present for you. Jessica is dynamite and her kind cheerful demeanor is a radiant bright light! Seldom do I receive outstanding service from a care provider these days it seems. I had gone to several eye care brick and mortar offices on the search for one who accepted Cigna insurance, and had ultimately given up, opting to purchase online. An eventful weekend changed all that when I lodged a piece of metal into my eye unknowingly whilst operating a grinder, and come Monday I called the I Care Vision Center, and was promptly scheduled to be seen by Dr. Valenzuela. I was a 250lb bearded weirdo in tears sitting in that office, and was treated wonderfully by the staff, and especially by Dr. Valenzuela. After removing the foreign object, I was back to see her 3 separate times, which included a thorough eye examination, as well as prescription fitting and I even bought some frames. Every time I dealt with the folks here was a pleasure, and I have recommended the doctor to several people since. Reading through most of the negative comments on here, it's easy to see people get caught up in complaining about the insurance system as a whole, and not focusing on the treatment given by their care provider. I can tell you first hand the care I received was top-notch, and Dr. Valenzuela took the time to explain everything to me in a manner I could comprehend, and was genuinely concerned for my well being and follow-up care. Kudos to their entire staff, and thank you for the treatment and care. You've gained a life-long patient because of it. read more

I won't get glasses from here. The eye appointment and getting contacts have been fine. But, my appointment was 3.5 weeks ago and I still don't have the glasses I ordered. They were originally supposed to take 5-7 business days, not 4 weeks! They haven't called to give me an update, I had to call twice and got the run around of where my glasses actually are. I have had Dr Pat Fowler taking care of my eyes since I was in my early twentys, I am sixty seven now and would never even think of going elsewhere for my eyecare. I had something in my eye last week. It caused headaches, my eye was swollen and I couldn't sleep. My M.D. insisted it could be taken care of with eye drops since he couldn't see anything. After insisting I get to see Dr.Fowler he found the calcium deposit and took care if it immediaty. I Care Vision Center is where I get my eyes taken care of, that's it, I wouldn't even consider letting anyone else look at my eyes, they are too precious to me. Thanks Dr Fowler!! read more

Went to this place for a new prescription and glasses for the first time. The optician technicians are poorly trained with fitting my glasses. They did not bother to take the measurements to ensure my eyes were aligned with the optical center. It was shocking to find out that I have been wearing these glasses for 8 months not knowing that I was having eye strains and fatigue due to the lenses optical center being off. I had to go to a highly qualified eye clinic to get it fixed. I would never go back to this place again. I recommend LensCrafters due to their highly trained staff and precise procedures. read more

This was my first and last experience with this clinic. The office does not communicate well, or at all. My first appointment I waited nearly 30 minutes before a nurse saw me then it was another 15 before the doctor came is after I had my tests (The office didn't look that full or busy, mind you, i did take that into consideration).The first contacts didn't sit in my eye well, ok, we'll try a different brand. When I tried to pick up the second set after work one day I arrived at the office at 5:32 pm, they close at 5:30 pm. Yes, I was late, but I was only picking up contacts with no other paperwork. I knocked on the door and the 3 ladies at the counter looked at me, then turned back to each other like I wasn't there. No "sorry we're closed" or any other form of customer service. When i finally did get those contacts I was given the wrong prescription, which required another trip to the office and seeing the doctor. Third set I had to scrounge together other samples because i was leaving on my honeymoon and they had not bothered to tell me that my contacts were in backorder until I called them after there '7-10 business days' turned into 3 weeks. When I got back from my honeymoon in October (we are at over 2 months elapsed time from my initial appointment at this point) I called to see if my contacts were in and, by some miscommunication, they weren't even ordered. So, i had them order the contacts again and was given the '7-10 business days' line again. At this point i'm pretty frustrated because of the delay and lack of communication from the clinic. So i decided to just wait and see what happened. 2 MONTHS LATER (now December) they called to let me know they have my contacts. I've already switched insurance because of this poor service and had written off my appointment as a total loss as I had paid for the appointment and had nothing but 1 box of contacts for my left eye (pretty darn useful.....). Luckily (i suppose) they had already charge my former insurance company for the contacts so I just have to pay the difference. You would think a business would inform a customer that their order is delayed by three times as long as quoted, but nah, they don't need to do that. That's my review: horrible customer service and weariness of a doctor who took 3 tries to get my prescription right (and I'm not talking about brand here, the actual prescription). Save yourself the hassle and time and choose someone different. (I dropped my vision insurance after working with this clinic as they were a "Preferred Provider" and this was some of the worst customer service I have experienced in my life.) read more

I was referred to this location from a friend and left highly dissapointed. I came in to get a quote for my vision benefit plan to see what was covered as i just moved to CO. The biller Daisy was short with answers, her demeanour was unpleasant. She seemed irritated and unwilling to look into my vision plan. Due to her unfriendly customer service i left and went to look optical and was helped got an exam and a box of contacts. I do not recommend anyone to this office. read more

Insurance/billing fraud! BEWARE! When I asked what they charge for an eye exam the lady in the office told me it would be $99 if you didn't have insurance to help cover that. I have insurance, so I should be able to expect some coverage. Well, no...when I saw my bill, they charged me/insurance $166 for the general exam portion + an extra $55 for the refraction (which is the prescription) + are attempting to bill me an addtional $60 and claiming that that is for the contact lens prescription! 1st, I never asked for a glasses prescription (only wanted contact lens prescription), 2nd they didn't do two separate things to generate the glasses prescription vs the contact lens prescription, 3rd I didn't even have to have a fitting for which contacts I needed as I knew exactly which brand I wanted! When I called the office to ask about this Amanda in billing couldn't answer my questions for what exactly in my visit these extra charges were for, she passed the phone to someone else who also couldn't answer the question. I asked why they charged for the glasses prescription then if I didn't want it or know it was "separate" they said "Well, your insurance allows us to bill it" and kept going in circles while you could hear them almost laughing. I guess with them it's probably better to say you don't have insurance! They'll apparently charge you $99 as opposed to a total bill for you and insurance to split of $281!! I've turned them in to the BBB and reported them to my insurance company for insurance fraud! read more
