We come here often for the great taste of food in our neighborhood. When we are seated the waiter gets back us to order at a quick time. Food comes out in a timely manner! 4/5 - Bun bo hue - broth is savory and beefy to our palate. Good amount of meat cuts to noodle ratio 4/5 - Cream cheese wonton - Huge portion size with lots of cream cheese filling. Dipping sauce goes well with it or without! 3.5/5 Pho dac biet - The broth is great for my palate. Not overly sweet and has a great herbal taste to it. Noodle to meat ratio is portion well, I really want them to add ( Tendons ) to their Pho but they do not serve that here . Expect to have tripe though! I love that they have a kids size pho to xl large size. It helps out depending how much Pho I want to eat that day. Recommend to try this place out if you haven't, the FOOD HITS! Especially if you are in the neighborhood. I really wish the seating for comfort was better and the overall design/ paint was more fresh.

Small but mighty! I just discovered this place through a friend and I've already been back twice! It was first time trying the Banh Mi Vietnamese sandwich and now I'm hooked! I also had the jalapeño cream cheese wontons- they were so crisp and served hot right out the fryer! I'm so happy to add this place to my list of go-tos! The owner also came over and spoke with me, she was very sweet!

Came here on a weeknight and it had a decent crowd. We got sat immediately. Service was fast and the girl who took our order and checked us out was very nice. The pho here was great! Clean broth and flavorful. Definitely will be coming back here if I am in the area again. The ambiance is meh, I mean I am there to see if the pho is legit or not (which it is), not to stare at the walls, lol! It wasn't horrible but wasn't the classiest ambience. There is a lot of parking as it seems like it shares a parking lot with a Hmong market next door.

This is the usual spot my friends and I go to when we want some casual pho. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Will always come back and enjoy.

Staff there are super sweet and friendly. Felt very welcomed! Food is amazing as always. When you need something fast, this is the place to go. Food came out so fast, got out of there pretty quick after dining. Definitely my to go to!

I'll tell you why I couldn't give it five stars at the end. The food is unbelievable! The pho broth was light, layered, yet rich. Honestly one of the best broths I've ever had. The spring rolls were bigger than other places. The sauce could have been more sour than sweet for my taste. The service was fine, but very fast. The reason I gave it four stars and not five is because I didn't like the fact they had chopsticks and spoons just sitting in a container at the table. Like anyone could have put their dirty hands all over the utensils you're gonna put in your mouth. Ick.

Grabbed a bite here with the volleyball team after our game at the community center. Food was great. I'll be back for sure

We were able to find free street parking nearby, because of parking lot renovations. As soon as we sat down, our waitress made sure we had everything we needed, including chili oil and sriracha for us. She checked in on us throughout our meal without being overbearing and made us feel very welcome. Since it was our first visit, we appreciated that we never felt rushed to order and had plenty of time to look over the menu. The pho was really solid. I loved the clear, deep flavorful broth, and the Vietnamese coffee was perfectly balanced and not too sweet. Unfortunately, they were out of bánh mì during our visit, but honestly that just gives me another reason to come back. Between the good food and excellent service, I can definitely see why locals love this place. I'd recommend giving it a try if you're looking for a great food and a welcoming dining experience.

Proteins all served at correct doneness in the Pho Dac Biet so you get the tougher cuts well done and rendered and the thin steak raw so it cooks in the broth. Great side accompaniments, Thai basil still on the stalk and living, fresh bean sprouts, Sri Racha and chiles in oil depending on your tastes, squirt bottle of hoisin. The only tiny nitpick I have is I wish they had bigger spoons available for those of us who like to mix sauces and soup in the spoon instead of muddying up the bowl. Also Vietnamese coffee is prepared old fashioned, not in a boba cup where you can't tell if it was made just now or weeks ago. Great service. This is a tiny little joint which is exactly what you expect from a world class Pho place.

However despite what people say I think it is too pricey for the food and service that you get. You go in and take a seat, eat your food, then walk up to the cash register on the left side of the restaurant when you're done. Oh and it's cash only, no check or credit card here. So I had the House Special #2 Pho whoch included beef steak, flank, tripe, and meatball for $13.95. I also ordered a side of egg rolls for $4. And the Bubble tea for about $4. I'm not sure why the price all of thar somehow became $26 which annoyed me that the fees weren't transparent. Pho: 9/10 Solid option and the broth was rich and flavorful, noodles were thin and tasted great. They gave lots of meat and honestly makes the trip here Egg Rolls: 8/10 Crispy and delicious, my obly gripe is that the sauce that I got was kinda mid. Must have just been old sauce because the flavor wasn't there. Bubble Tea: 7/10 More like dessert and a slushie texture so keep thar in mind. The taro is fine but not something I'd go out my way for. Now despite expecting hold in the wall prices, Pho Ca Dao is pricier than expected. I could compare to Lotus which I had a month ago for about the same price but they provided a far larger portion of sides including chicken wings compared to here, not to mention superior service. Overall if you're in the area I guess this works but note there are better Pho options.

I lived in the Houston and Garland Texas area all my life where there is a large vietnamese population... and for the past 5 months, I have just been exploring Minnesota and Wisconsin and Illinois for vietnamese food. This evening... I was just craving pho. lets start with the ambiance. Its a pretty hip place once you get inside. I do like the cultural blend of modern and old school, and you see it with the different type people that come in. The staff there was prompt, and unlike my old school favorite in Richardson Texas... the staff to customer ratio was high. So the service was quick and attentive. Now for the pho. I went with the Dac Biet because I never know sometimes if I will get tough precut preprocessed meats... not in this case. I felt that all the ingrediants were fresh...and catered toward the old school viet palette, which I thank you. I understand a lot of pho house have to stay in business and cater to the local palette but this one was spot on. You can just breath in the right mixture of ingrediants. The bowl was reasonably priced, and the portions were similar to what I am used to having in Houston. It was fantastic as I scarfed it down to quick and forgot to take a picture. However, all the pictures that I have seen associated with this location are accurate. Overall, I would come back here. I am interested in trying their Stone pho next time as th emenu advertisement made it look tasty.

But their banh mi is where they hang their hat, and I get that. I've had the Banh Mi Bo Nuong with pork, and I loved that pork in there, very nicely cooked. I think I'll get that again for sure. We also tried their "Vietnamese Roll Roll" which is, I kid you not, a full fried egg roll INSIDE an oversized cold spring roll! And it works! I would get that again! But like, definitely split it with at least one person as an appetizer. I've also gotten smoothies both times, and I REALLY liked the taro one. The manager that has been here for both of my visits is so nice, you will definitely love her if you chat with her. And she's really honest about her menu, she will tell you if something isn't as good or popular as something else. Specifically, if you get a smoothie you should ask for her recommendation about adding boba bits. But don't get me wrong, she is very proud of their food. This is a really cute, homey neighborhood Vietnamese place that I look forward to visiting with some regularity.

The restaurant was clean, quiet, and welcoming. I also appreciated the simple, thoughtfully curated menu. Instead of pages of choices, they focus on what they do best--noodles, curries, and appetizers--and it shows. I ordered the Pad See Ew at the "Shy" (Level 1) spice, and it was perfect for me. It was just the right amount of 'bite' for my taste buds. The spice levels are cleverly named, progressing to "First Step" "Brave," and "Native." The Thai tea was excellent--freshly steeped and clearly a labor of love. It took a little longer to prepare, but it was absolutely worth the wait. The mango sticky rice was to die for and the perfect way to end the meal. Combined with our friendly server and relaxed atmosphere, this was one of those unexpected finds that makes traveling so enjoyable. I'm so glad we decided to stroll in. Highly recommend!
