The Spring Rolls were OK but if you didn't dip in peanut sauce they leaned toward bland. The Vrolls were small but tasty. Tish thought her beef stew was a little bland as well. After she added several things to it - she liked it much better ... a little thin we both thought. It certainly was not "bad". Sometimes I wonder if it is fair to judge a particular restaurant to others like restaurants. What else can you do and still give an honest review? "Love Pho & Crawfish" serves a medium tasty meal with good service. It was funny when as a new employee (I assumed) passed our table and started to serve the #3 table - we were the fourth table, counting from the front. What seemed to be the owner told him, "#4" and pointed to our table, much to the embarrassment of the server... I piped up, "Hey buddy, where are you going with our food?" Relief ensued and everyone in the restaurant laughed. It was an honest mistake, which I believe will not be repeated by that server. It was a pleasant experience. First time here and we highly recommend the #2 pork sandwich but keep in mind there's jalapeños inside so if you don't want fresh jalapeño make sure you tell them in advance so your mouth doesn't catch on fire. Also highly recommend the #12 pho soup. I Love that they play Blues music. Nice atmosphere and very clean bathrooms. New restaurant as of 6/16/18! Yay, a Vietnamese restaurant close by! They have a few different classic Vietnamese dishes along with seafood boils like crawfish and crab cooked Louisiana style. My husband got the chicken pho which is your typical pho. The broth was good and all the veggies and herbs were offered. What my husband really likes is they have two different chili sauces - one that's more vinegar based and another that's oil based. Typical Vietnamese restaurants only offer the vinegar based one but this restaurant has both! I got the vermicelli with pork, shrimp, and egg roll. I really liked it and the portion was large - I wasn't able to finish it all. So far so good with this restaurant - we'll be back! read more

This place is okay. I'd give it a 3.5 if I could. We came here because the Panda Pho and Boba House was closed and we were determined to have pho for dinner. My boyfriend and I came in, there was a family of 5 sitting in the middle table, two workers, and the cook were standing towards the back. We took our seat and I ordered the Thai tea with boba, but they said the boba was old so I took the drink sans boba. It took a while for us to be serviced, to be honest. I can't remember how long we waited, but it was long enough to where I was contemplating calling the server over, especially when there's only one other party to worry about. I almost always get pho with meatballs at any pho place and this place was no exception. We also ordered spring rolls with our meal. So I was really happy to give this place a try and honestly I was very disappointed because on one of my dishes that I got it does not give you a description on what the plate has, and it turns out it has Italian sausage so the plate I got it was crawfish fried rice. I called the guy at the restaurants and I explained my situation and he would told me to pick out my Italian sausage. I was very disappointed by his response he seem like he was not interested to help me out. But I would say the spring eggrolls were delicious and the penis sauce. I liked this place a lot! I ordered takeout today...a vermicelli pork dish and a shrimp spring roll. It was easy to order over the phone, ready when I got there and the cashier was very pleasant. The food was good! I like that the vermicelli was hot like it should be. Some other restaurants serve the pork hot on a bed of cold vermicelli! Portion size was good as well. Spring rolls were huge! I drove an hour to this place from North Dallas. When we got there, we where not even greeted and instead we where shouted at "dining room closes at 8!". There was no indication of this on google maps or Yelp or anything. Ordered to go instead. After I was done giving my food order, I went to the beverage page of the menu and started looking at the shakes they have. The guy said not to order a shake because it was already 8:15 pm and he wanted to get out of there by closing time at 9. He literally said that to us. The food is great but, the positions are really small. I ordered chicken pho and seafood pho. The food is good, portions are small, customer service is terrible! I was embarrassed with my date. I've been going to this place for years and love it! Their pho is delicious and has an amazing flavor. I love the steak pho with steak on the side. I always have to get the egg rolls.. they're so good... but I've had the pork spring rolls before and they're super good too. My boyfriend always gets the pork dinner and always enjoys it. I LOVE their crawfish. Get the house special sauce it's thick, citrusy, garlicky and amazing. I've had the crab legs too which are good but crawfish is my fav there.... when crawfish is live I find myself there every week. Just ordered some crawfish and a banh mi (Vietnamese sandwich) from this place. The banh mi wasn't all that. I honestly thought I should've bought more crawfish then the banh mi, I didn't even finish it. I took 2 bites and just wasn't impressed. The crawfish on the other hand was VERY good. This place is actually really good. They have Pho, banh mi's, vermicelli and typical viet food. But they also have crawfish and seafood. Like if you pho and crawfish. This is the place to come. I was iffy about it when I past by it multiple times but I thought why not try this place out. The crawfish has good flavors. Like a little salty for my taste but still edible. The vermicelli is very good, the grilled pork has really good amount of flavor already before you add the sauce to it. I would come here again for sure. read more

UPDATE - Crab legs and XXX hot with all the seasoning was fantastic! The seasoning was full of flavor and heat factor wasn't anything you can't handle if you like hot. I was very impressed because we visit Shell Shack often and it's very comparable AND different in flavor! Wow! So after reading some of the negative reviews we almost didn't try this place. I'm so glad we did! I typical start with food and then go to service ... but I'm going to do this different! From the moment we walked in I could tell it was going to be good. I didn't know how good, but I was about to find out! Service was on point, the gentleman that helped us was quick to our table, we ordered and our "pork spring rolls" were delivered quickly. They were delicious, very clean, great flavor and their soy is Knorr (which I've never had)... peanut sauce was on point with the red chili paste and the Knorr soy. YUMMY! My husband I both had "eye round steak" pho, regular mind you... and it came it a HUGE bowl. What would be a large at most places. The flavor was just right... sometimes I like a robust broth and other times more clean w a hint of sweet. This was seriously in between and very clean. Not a lot of grease floating in it. Vegetables were fresh and a VERY GENEROUS serving of meat. We will go back! They have crab that I want to try as well. Finally tried this place after we keep passing it all the time. Another good place to eat in Rowlett. We had the beef stew noodles and I love the broth. Then we also tried the crawfish with shrimp. Their special sauce was really good!!! My only suggestion is put more extra sauce on the bag so it will be good to slap it on the rice and have a more reasonable price on the sacks. Found a new pho place via Yelp, decided to try it out with my family, and am glad we did! This restaurant is relatively new and in a nice location. From the name and menu it definitely has a viet-cajun vibe. I had the beef stew with bread, the smaller portion without noodles. Aside from the great taste of the stew itself, a nice surprise was that the bread offered wasn't traditional french bread, but instead was a slightly buttered wheat bread. My wife had the meatball pho with rice noodles. Simple, but delicious broth that she split with our kiddo. My son also had the sweet potato fries. I nibbled on a few and they were fluffy and sweet on the inside while crispy and salty on the outside. Next time I will have to order my own. And, we all split a grilled pork banh mi which was also served in a wheat bread. A nice surprise to the taste buds was the lightly buttered insides. We had never been to a place that did that, but now we can't imagine a banh mi without it. The food was hot and fresh, service was good, the place was clean (including the restrooms) and the price was decent. We will certainly be back during crawfish season. read more

I don't live too far from this place so I'm surprised I haven't been here before! It's located in a quaint shopping center and the place itself looks fairly new. The tables are already stocked up with all the things you'll need to enhance your pho. My boyfriend and I tried both an appetizer and a pho. We came here at 11:30 and they don't sell crawfish until after 3:00 so we didnt get to try it. I definitely recommend getting the egg rolls (No. 5 I believe), they're super fresh, and crispy! We got a double order since we were in love. The pho is good too, but it's not my absolute favorite pho spot, I live close to here so I will definitely come back to get a quick pho fix and try other options! read more

Honestly i was very disappointed, came in to eat and it was closed only for take out, then placed an order for take out while I was at work and honestly the food was cold and had little meat and lots of noodles that didn't even fit in the cup to take out.
