He did my speakers in the first car I took to him and they were amazing and he gave me such a great price for a full install and speakers. My next car, I got the windows tinted and my pod lights put on by Kevin and he did such an amazing job. My windows have never looked better and he made sure to make it so the back windows were almost limousine tint so that when I go camping no one's gonna be looking into my car. He also gave me a great install price for my pod lights and no wiring is showing and even installed a switch to turn them on and off with. These guys are crooks. I had a problem with my touch screen center console and the dealership was going to charge an arm and a leg just to replace it with the OEM parts so I brought it here and Kevin said he can fix it and it would look nice with the kit he offered. He recommended all these expensive gadgets, and i agreed only because he said he could fix the problem. He also said I should buy an amp for the speakers so it can sound better. I didn't want to fork up anymore money, but he kept insiting, so i did. They had my car for a full week, and when I got it back, it was worse! My center screen still isn't working, and on top of that, they damaged the corners of my center dash. I told him the issue wasn't fixed, and he tried to tell me I don't need all the options in my center console to work. Who the fuck says that to their customers!? Some of the speakes arent producing any sound now and he said the amp would make it better! So, all in all, I'm still having the same issue with my touchscreen and now damages to my center dash! I paid over $2000 for absolutely nothing! and as I was walking out pissed off, he had the audacity to say, "Come back if you want more custom work done" because he had another custome waiting and say how unhappy i was with my car! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. Save your time and money and go elsewhere. read more

I called to see if I could get my bulbs changed to LED on my Mazda 3. They had the bulbs in stock and was able to bring it in first thing in the morning... a. Hour later both my head lights and fog lights were changed and work amazing. I will come back here to do tinting on my car as well. Very quick, friendly and profesional. read more

There are only a few places in San Diego worth trusting your car to and I-Tech is one of them. I needed a USB port moved so I wouldn't have wires cluttering up the front dashboard. It was tricky work because the dash and glovebox needed disassembly to accomplish the feat. The car is only a year old so I was worried about marring a still pristine-looking interior. However - Kevin not only did a great job, but he did it at a price that made it worth doing. Now I can enjoy a clean dashboard while having special USB devices hidden out of site. I was looking to upgrade my sound system and get a subwoofer, and recommended me to get a Kicker sub comp R sub with a rockford fostgate 250w amp, and got everything done the next day and let me tell you, he did a really clean job with the set up and the system hit really hard. Kevin from i-Tech responded back to my quote request within an hour on Yelp for some window tinting. I called him directly and he gave me a great quote for a tint that was much less than a few other places I spoke with. When I arrived at the shop, I mentioned that I needed to get new tires soon. My dealer had given me a quote earlier that week. I showed Kevin the dealer quote and he got me the same tires and service for almost $200 less than the dealer quote! This was an awesome bonus! During all communications Kevin was very friendly and courteous and genuinely looking to save me money. The tint came out great and he balanced all 4 tires for no additional cost. If i could give 0 stars i would . I am the owner of two show cars . Lexus ls430 and a Chevy s10 . I brought my vehicles in to Kevin's shop hoping to get some good work done but things took a turn . First for my Lexus i brought it in for my stereo installation. Everything was hooked up but my air conditioner did not work . As well as my backup camera . Before install he said he would not be able to retain my backup camera but will install a new one for free . When i went to pick up my car i noticed the camera wasn't working and i asked about it , he said i was trying to trick him and he had never said anything about a backup camera installed , whatever . When i go to turn my car on my Apple car play did not work . Instead of pulling the usb to the front where i can plug it in he tucked it behind the stereo and claimed i don't have a usb and my stereo dosent have Apple play. Which was wrong . I ended up fixing it myself at home As im pulling out of the shop i noticed a coolant leak (remind you i am a mechanic and work at a shop) He hit a bump pulling into the shop causing a coolant leak and again claimed it was my fault . Whatever . The next morning when there was light out and i was inspecting everything i noticed a huge crack in my dash kit . I texted Kevin he told me bring it in the next morning . I did so and he had the nerve to tell me all i do is complain . I pay big money the job should be done right. Again i set up another appointment for him to fix my air conditioner. Took my car in and the same day i go to pick up not only was my ac not fixed , he blew a fuse in my car preventing it from starting and of course it's some how my fault . Arguing with me that my starter when out when it was just a fuse he blew . Again another problem . My radio does not work . My cd and Apple play works but i have no radio connection and he also did not connect my antenna so now i can't talk on the phone through my car . The list goes on. Cracked dash cam . No ac. No camera . Bolts missing . Panels not put back/ covers not put back . Terrible business man. What bugs me is i thought we were friends. Now for my Chevy s10. I purchased a new dash cam . Dash cam was installed . Go to pick up and bring it home only to noticed my panels were cracked and not put on all the way . And the wires for my viper alarm were cut preventing it from working and of course he says all i do is complain so whatever i will never recommend this shop to anyone . read more
