I have been getting my brows threaded since the '90's! I love it. Wax on, wax off my foot. Threading is where it's at. I only let Shoba touch my brows because she knows exactly what I want. I have super curly brows and Shoba is able to thread them into submission. I usally just show up and put my name on the list as I am usually coming in from work. 10 min or less and I am out the door. I've seen some places that thread charge up to $15 bucks! I Too you only pay $7. Shoba is so sweet and she cracks me up talking about her cat. I have let Duli thread them but only because Shoba was on vacation or it was her day off and I had some major unibrow action going on. I love the new location, which is directly across the street from the old location (they were having issues with drainage or something). On Saturday May 23 I visited Eye Too salon to get my eyebrows threaded. I arrived at 7:15pm and waited 30 minutes to be serviced as there were only two employees working at the time. After the long wait I was finally called back to a chair. Sabina, the technician who serviced me was very slow and kept breaking the thread she was using on my brows. After 10 minutes of thread breaking she was finally finished with my eyebrows. I initially asked her to just "clean them up" because I like the natural shape of my eyebrows. The finished product was completely dissatisfying. First off, my brows were noticeably uneven. She made me look like I was raising one brow skeptically at something I disapproved of. Secondly they looked like they had barely been touched. I get my eyebrows done at least once a month at another salon and have NEVER experienced this before. As an East Atlanta resident I called myself trying to support a neighborhood business by patronizing a salon located in the Village. I will never go here again. Lastly after being completely dissatisfied with the service I received I was charged full price for a service I didn't even like. The company website has a price listing and eyebrow threading is supposedly $7, however, when I went to the register I was charged $9! I was not offered any type of discount for being dissatisfied or given any incentive to return to the salon again based on my dissatisfaction. I used to have my eyebrows waxed, but I got hooked on threading while living in DC, so when I came back to Atlanta, I tried to find a place that would meet my needs. I vastly prefer threading because a) it is easier on the sensitive skin of the eye area than waxing, and b) it looks a lot more natural than waxing because the lines aren't as straight and perfect. I Too was recommended to me by several different sources. It is also way cheaper than a lot of other options: $7, $5 if you go on a weekday and make an appointment. I have been going to this place off and on for 8 months. I started out going to Rani (who was awesome with my eyebrows), but eventually found out that she was no longer there. The next person I went to was Kimmie. I didn't have a problem with her, but it just seemed as if she didn't listen to what I wanted. I don't like my eyebrows thin and she said she understood what I wanted, but gave me exactly what I didn't want. They still looked good though, but I made a mental note to try someone else when I go back. Today I decided to call ahead and see who was there. So when I got there, I decided I would try Ruby. Ruby did exactly what I wanted her to do. She even iced my eyebrows down for me afterward-I normally have to do it myself (but that's by choice). I still took the cube with me for extra icing measures - I have extremely sensitive skin and the ice helps me not to break out. I work right down the street from I-Too, so whenever my brows get a little out of control I "take a walk" for twenty minutes. Since I'm a bit too scattered to make an appointment, I try to meet them at the door at 10am. Former reviewer is right - anytime after lunch on Friday , and you'll definitely be waiting! Salma is my regular, but Shilpa does a really awesome job, too. I'm always very happy with the shaping - no razor thin, unnatural looking brows here. My super sensitive skin gets pretty angry during any kind of hair removal (but threading is the best) - this morning Shlipa took extra time to do a little ice massage on my face to take down some of the swelling. read more

I waited and rang the bell on the door a few times. I had to leave. I went back later that evening and there was a lady getting her brows threaded and I sat patiently. BEST DEAL IN THE ATL FOR EYEBROW THREADING! I started getting my eyebrows threaded when I lived in Arlington, VA, where I was charged $12 per visit. When I moved back to ATL, I found I-Too where they not only charge less ($7!), but they do a MUCH better job! Duli is my favorite "threader," but she often has a long wait. The great thing about this place is that ALL of the girls are good at what they do. I have never had bad service, and I've been going there once a month or so for the past 3 years. I have been coming to I-Too for years and have been going to Malaika for the about a year now. She is sweet and knows what she is doing. However, during this pandemic she has not been taking the necessary precautions to at least try to prevent the spread of this disease. She continually holds personal phone conversations (which is unprofessional in itself) while servicing clients over their exposed faces. She talks, and laughs over them most likely spreading her droplets. I have never seen her wipe her chair down in between clients nor have I ever seen her wash her hands in between clients. She doesn't wear gloves, mask or any protective equipment to protect herself or her clients. There has to be some accountability. I have gone twice since they have been back open and i will not go back until things have changed. read more

Before finding I Too, I was travelling to the North Druid Hills area for eyebrow threadings. The wait times for that salon was absolutely ridiculous! I've even waited an hour with an appointment! Needless to say, I left in pursuit of an efficient threading job from a salon that respects time management. I found this in I Too. The best time to go is after 6pm during the weekday. That being said, I've been there during the weekend and I've never waited for more than 10 minutes. I should also note that I've never made an appointment. But after Kelly waxed me up in all the right places, I can say that I will definitely patronize her and the establishment every time that I'm in town! What a day I had at I Too today. First the woman who was supposed to open opened the store late and when I mentioned it to her she blamed it on traffic and began to tell me how "life happens". I made it my business to get to I Too today early because I am leaving for a business trip in a couple of hours and expect a store that say they open at 10:00 to open at that time (Especially if I called earlier in the week to find out exact hours and people who should be there). Next, the person I was waiting on (Selma) was 45 minutes late and she also blamed it on traffic after I mentioned I was waiting for almost an hour, in addition to saying how she was "never late" (but you were late today and I am here today so I don't care about other times). After this, I was told that the price of $40.00 for a Brazilian and Brows are now separate and asked if I wanted to proceed. Of course, I want to proceed, I drove all the way down here for these services. Eventually Selma gave me at least one apology after I was waxed and I was charged the full price. Let's calculate these numbers based on losing a customer who has been loyal to your business for over a year. You charged me an extra $4.00 due to the prices now being separate instead of going above and beyond and saying, "Yeah, you know what I had you waiting for an hour, I'm so sorry I'll just charge you the normal $40.00 or give you a free brow next time you come" which never happened, now you lost $484.00 ($44.00 x 11months for the rest of the year) from me because of your lack of customer service and because you wanted your extra $4.00. Also, I called the other I Too in Morrow to get the managers phone number (Quincy) only to first be given a wrong number, then when I called back only for the Morrow store to call the Atlanta store and tell them I called. Sad that I could not get a hold of Quincy and he is basically unavailable to handle "his business". Finally, as a small business owner, you are going to make mistakes but what counts is how we rectify those mistakes and in this case you are saying that your paying customers are not worth it. UPDATE: I found another place to get waxed and they DON'T double dip.
