What an awesome buying experience and this is coming from an out-of-state buyer. I flew in on a Monday and drove my brand new Telluride home and logged a little over 1k miles. First off, Dom was the point of contact from the get go. Online forums, specifically Telluride ones, have raved about the I-25 Kia and specifically Dom as the go-to guy. Boy were the highly positive reviews right! I initially PMed Dom in one of the forums and eventually transitioned into emailing/texting/calling him with all the questions I had and placed an order for a Telluride in the exact specs I wanted. I got my car in 1.5 months time. Wow! Other dealers were quoting a wait time of 4-8 months. If you want a Telluride or any Kia for that matter, go with I-25! I hate buying cars. And buying out of state? Ugh... That feeling of something going the wrong way..? Well I sure am glad I risked it because it was very well worth it in the end. I would do it all over again. Dom was responsive to all my inquiries and still is after buying the car. One of the few dealers with NO MARKUP. That in itself is rare considering that this car is marked up by 8-16k here in SoCal! Please purchase with I-25 Kia and you will not be disappointed. Mike was also working extra hard that Monday to keep all customers happy despite some waiting due to unforeseen circumstances. I even got got a free ride from the airport to dealer right after I landed. Definitely appreciated the extra little touch! The ONLY con is that I wished I-25 Kia was closer to me!!

11 minutes agoNEW A 5 star rating for a car dealership is almost unheard of and these guys did not disappoint! Being the third largest KIA dealership in the country by allocation means you get the most competitive pricing and quickest factory order delivery time-frames. Our sales rep Dominic Carrillo made the ordering process easy and provided weekly vehicle status updates. The finance department doesn't use high pressure upsell tactics which is a refreshing experience. All the documents were processed remotely and the they even sent a driver to pick me up at the airport as I live over 1200 miles from the dealership. You've earned a future repeat customer!

Sales process via text? A helpful attitude at every turn? Delivery of the vehicle to my home? Friendly and capable staff? Thanks to Johnny and his colleagues, I'm holding the key to my new 2018 Kia Soul... the last alien-green manual one in the state! This dealership made the car buying experience completely convenient. They'll even deliver a vehicle up to 1,000 miles away at no charge!

I travelled 1200 miles to buy my new Kia Telluride from Dominic @I25 and I couldn't be happier with the experience. The specific model I purchased is in high demand and is quite hard to find at a reasonable price. Found out about I25 on an online forum. No gimmicks with these guys. Nothing but straight and timely answers to all of my questions. Flew into Denver airport and Dominic sent a car to pick me up no problem. Really got to learn about and enjoy the car on my 1200 mile drive home. Tested the car in snow, rain, sun, and wind. Would do it all over again without hesitation. Turns out, buying a car out of state is really very easy. Best part is that I saved nearly $10k from what I would have paid at the local dealer!

Have been here a few time for service on my Kia Soul. The other dealership were really busy so I took the long drive to this location. It's very modern. Awesome waiting area compared to the other Kia dealership. Free wifi, water for the four legged friends and much more. The scheduling system is very quick and you can get in on pretty much the same day.

There was a problem with the communication surrounding the tow transfer so I started my experience with Hands on Auto Tech with some trepidation. Tom handled the situation and we moved onto the real problem with my truck. The diagnosis was the clutch so I approved the repair and waited a few days for the parts to arrive and the repair to proceed. After the clutch was replaced another problem with the operation of the clutch was discovered so I agreed to the additional repair and another day for repair. After a week I was reunited with my truck. The repair was costly, lengthy and unexpected but coming out the other side of this experience I learned a couple of lessons. 1. If you have your vehicle towed to a shop follow the tow truck to the shop and verify the transfer. 2. Communication and follow up throughout the repair are key Tom was great to deal with and I feel that he was honest with me about the repairs needed and the cost of those repairs. Having recently moved to the area I feel my vehicle maintenance and repair needs can be checked off the list. I can recommend Hands on Auto Tech to anyone needing an honest repair facility and Tom as a good guy to deal with.

Got it back after a few short days and will be getting some further work done as time goes on. This truck had belonged to my former landlord whereupon his daughter sold it to me as the old boy had gone to a retirement facility. In his later years maintenance and repairs had been let go but being sturdy and strong running, I bought it and am slowly bringing it up to snuff and it is good in the event I should need to do any long distance traveling with it. . Attended the new shop opening, located just off I-25 and Colorado route 66, where I met Mr. Maggio's family and some of the other customers who call Hands On Autotech their home for vehicle repair and servicing. I first went there based on the recommendation of the Martino troubleshooter show on 630 KHOW AM radio; 10 AM - 2PM, M-F. My opinion is that Tom's shop takes something of a scientific approach to vehicle repair and will go more in depth with an analyses than another shop I had been to for an issue with my '99 Tahoe. As an EV owner himself I gather that Tom is up on the current tech, perhaps more than some other places who would have men of my age (68) from the "dinosaur era" of automotive tech working at their shops.

Here are 4 situations that made me see new mechanics: 1.) 8 yrs ago, I overheated the engine and cracked the block on my 1984 Landcruiser. They rebuilt the engine, for about $8,000.00. While in the process, Tim claimed the bottom did not need rebuilding. So they closed up the engine. But I was now burning oil. 2 Qts/ 500 miles. They refused to fix the problem. Tim blamed that I told them to not rebuild the bottom end of the engine. (Ask him about it!) 2.) Just last month, Feb 2026, the catalytic converter on my Landcruiser started to fail. They installed that about 6yrs ago, for about $1,200.00. 3.) 2006 V70,Volvo had a small radiator leak. I brought it in each of the 2 times the Low Level light went on. Each time, they could not find the leak. The 3rd time I brought it in was because the radiator blew and the car overheated. I told them to check that I had not cracked the block before repairing the radiator. They repaired the radiator first., about $1,200.00. Then determined the block was cracked. (Rebuild by Swedish Motors was $6,000.00.) 4.) 2009 S80 Volvo. Had them look at this car to see if it was safe to buy, for my 17yr old daughter. The results of their inspection was "it's in great shape". 1 yr later the transmission went. And I found out that this was the one yr Volvo used a Ford impala transmission. No replacement parts, used or rebuilt transmissions were available, per Swedish Motors. I had to scrap the car. When I confronted Tim and Tyler that they should have known this about this model they said that was something I should have known about the car. NOTE: These guys do not deserve those big stickers on their front window that say Toyota and Volvo. Call me .... Dave Longmont, Co 720-745-9460

After receiving an outrageous $8,500 estimate from a Denver mechanic while stranded on Mother's Day, I had my 2017 VW Tiguan towed to Carbon Valley. Their inspection was detailed, honest, and thorough. They discovered the noise I heard was caused by a rock stuck in the driveshaft -- not a broken turbo as I was told. They removed the debris, topped off fluids, checked all systems, and only found that the brakes needed replacement -- which they completed for $1,270. This shop treated me with respect, transparency, and integrity. I'm a senior woman, and I felt completely at ease with their service. I now know I can trust them with any future repairs. BG Automotive? More like "BS" Automotive. The one star is for an oil change (since 0 stars is not…read morean option). BG Auto IS SHADY, smooth talking for sure, but A RIP OFF. STAY AWAY. This is a lengthy description, but it's not half the story. To all the glowing 5 star reviewers - check your invoices. The problem started with their "courtesy inspection" accompanying the oil change, where half of their recommendations (deemed red flag "Requires Immediate Attention") ultimately turned out to be mostly unnecessary and absurdly expensive. That became apparent only after paying. My bad, of course, I obviously should have asked to see a detailed estimate prior to the work. The initial estimate did not provide parts or labor detail & appeared to indicate the work was part of a "complete tune up." Upon dropping off the truck, "Service Advisor"Jesse stated that Champion copper spark plugs had been factory installed on 2013 RAM 2500s, so that was best & what BG would install. Classic BAIT & SWITCH: BG charged $508.48 for a set of 16 plugs! When I challenged the bill, asking if "kryptonite plugs" were installed instead, Jesse indicated, no, the copper plugs were used... then he checked his computer & stated, actually no, in fact the [far] more expensive NKG iridium plugs were installed. "They're much better because they last up to 100,000 miles," he emphasized. I replied, "Great. BG just changed out NGK iridium plugs that had been in the engine already, with only 60,000 miles on them." The WORK WAS COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY. Also on the bill was a "TOTAL FEES" charge of $175.77 (yes, that specific), but with ZERO DETAIL of what those fees were for or how they were calculated. Jesse couldn't provide that detail either, "It could be shop supplies, or hazardous disposal - you know, those state regulations - it could be almost anything." Note there were no hazardous materials involved with this work, such as a tire or battery disposal fee. (Google search indicates: In Colorado, shop fees are usually calculated as a percentage of the labor cost (e.g., 5-10%) and are often capped at a maximum amount (e.g., $25 to $50). Also, Colorado statute requires the repair invoice to have some kind of description of these fees, and further, "a description of each part by name and identifying number." Nowhere on the invoice was the type of plugs installed specified, either. You get NADA DETAIL from BS Automotive. Finally, while repair shops typically mark up parts 70-100% of wholesale price, BG is marking up parts in the ballpark of 100% of retail price. (If you can pry out of them the parts brand they say they'll use, you can easily verify this with a Google search at their counter.) They should be ashamed and embarrassed for what they're charging the hardworking folks of Longmont. When pressed to justify the charges, Jesse insisted they were competitive, "within 5% of other local repair shops." More BS. Comparing apples to apples (parts & labor only), the local dealership quoted over $200 less, the Loveland repair shop I've frequented in the past was over $400 less (obviously, checked after the fact...). If the handful of other shops Jesse quoted are actually within 5%, they are ripping us off too. Jesse would not budge on the final bill, but he did offer to comp me an oil change. As if! I had already told him I would never set foot in BG Automotive again. However, I would take a call from the BG Automotive (Owner) to provide the rest of the story about this pathetic BG encounter.
