I went on a 6 day African Safari in Tanzania in October 2025. We went to Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater Conservancy Area, and Serengeti National Park. It was an incredible experience. We saw the big five animals (Lions, Leopard, Elephants, Rhinos, African Buffalo) and more (Hippos, Cheetahs, Wildebeest, Zebras, Giraffes, Topi, Elands, Gazelles, Hyenas, Crocodiles, and on and on. We got to see the migration of the Wildebeest - crossing the Mara River. We saw beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The highlight was a hot air balloon ride over the Serengeti. The "rock 'n roll" landing was one of the most exciting experiences. The Ian Taylor Trekking staff (Athumani and Edwin) were the best. Whatever we wanted to see, they seemed to bring our wishes to life. Very knowledgeable and a delight to share our experiences with. I've been lucky enough to use Ian Taylor Trekking successfully on 6 trips to date - Kilimanjaro, EBC/Island Peak, Aconcagua, Mont Blanc, Cayambe/Chimborazo and most recently Denali and I can't recommend them highly enough.
