I have been going to Dubunne for years so this review is long overdue. Hey that rhymes!…read more I had the most relaxing and memorable experience for their Valentine's special with my man. We did the bath ritual, full massage, and scalp massage...and every part of it was absolutely divine. We got checked in, got in our robes and sandals and grabbed some fruit infused water and some snacks (peanut-raisin-MnM mix & dried fruit). We were offered champers but opted not to drink that day. The bath ritual was such a unique and calming way to start, setting the tone for total relaxation/sensual fun. The massages were incredible, Adelie was amazing for me. The perfect pressure, super attentive, and you could tell she really cared about my experience. The scalp massage was honestly the highlight...so soothing and something I didn't even realize I needed! The entire atmosphere felt peaceful, clean, and thoughtfully designed for couples to unwind together. It was the perfect way to spend quality time and truly disconnect from the world. We left feeling refreshed, relaxed, and already talking about when we can come back. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a special, relaxing experience..especially as a couple! The ONLY note I would give is I was disappointed that we could not get our massages together in a couples room but ultimately I guess it didn't matter all THAT much since you're just in your own "cocoon", closing your eyes and focusing on your own massage. Highly recommend!

But one little complaint is the cold room, the air smells moldy, maybe they just need to clean the ducts, otherwise this place is pretty perfect.

When you first enter, they provide you with a uniform a wristband key for your locker. The room where you get your scrub is multiple pools ranging from cold, warm and hot for you to soak before your scrub. Once they call your number, they scrub you down! I felt renewed and clean afterwards. This level is nude, no cameras and no shoes. Once you go tot he second floor, you put on a uniform so you can explore all of the multiple rooms from cold rooms, salt rooms and sauna rooms. They also have an outdoor patio for you to eat, enjoy lunch and relax. They have a restaurant where you can purchase food while you wait to be called for your scheduled massage. I opted into the private room and enjoyed a 60 min massage with my preferred essential oil. This is an all day spa so there is no time limit on how long you can stay. I loved the experience, staff were friendly and nice and I plan to incorporate this into my everyday maintenance. Only downside is they don't offer memberships.

They treated my mom with so much respect throughout the entire visit, which we really appreciated. As a thoughtful birthday touch, they even added a complimentary little gift of stones during her massage to help wish her a happy birthday, which made her feel extra special. I also loved that they spoke to her in Spanish during the tour and service explanations, which made the whole experience feel even more personal and welcoming for her. The three of us each booked a 50 minute relaxation massage, then spent time enjoying the saunas and jacuzzi afterward. One thing I really appreciated was being able to shower before heading home. They provide so many thoughtful amenities, including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, towels, brushes, blow dryers, and more, which made the experience feel seamless and pampering. By the time I got home, I was so relaxed that I ended up napping the rest of the day, that's how good it was! I'm already looking forward to coming back and am even curious about their membership options. Next time, I'd love to try their deep tissue massage. Overall, it was a great way to celebrate a special occasion and spend quality time with my mom and sister.

As a business owner, I'm always checking out businesses around Old Torrance. I've driven by this…read moreplace hundreds of times. The colorful exterior and LED lights practically scream, "Come on in!" So I finally did. I parked in the back, walked in, and was immediately asked if I'd ever been there before. I said, "Nope, first timer." They charged my card $40 and sent me to a room. The "massage" was less of a massage and more like someone trying to wipe fingerprints off my back. Then came the plot twist--I was offered a sexual service for an extra fee. I politely declined and reminded them I came for a massage, not a surprise menu. Out of curiosity, I asked how much. She said it's normally $60, but she'd "hook me up" for $40. The masseuse then told me this was "normal" and that it's what customers usually pay for. Apparently I walked into the wrong kind of massage. When the session ended, she asked if I wanted to use my card again for a tip. I said, "Tip for what?" After declining the "extras," I wasn't exactly feeling generous. As I walked out, they told me, "Don't come back here again." Deal. Looks like we were both happy with that arrangement. I paid $40 expecting a massage. Instead, I got a back rub, a sales pitch, and a plot twist I definitely didn't ask for.

The room itself was clean, but there were several things that were very strange and inconvenient as a paying customer that came to relax. Firstly, there is a sound that is made every time the door opens, and it is extremely loud. Even from inside the Massage room, I could hear everything happening outside and it was not relaxing at all to hear the dingdong every time the door opened. Second, I was not given a blanket to put over my body (just a small thin towel) and the room was fairly cold. In the middle of the Massage I had to ask for an additional blanket... and I was just given another small towel. Third, the masseuse asked for payment before the Massage, which is very unusual.... I didn't know if I should tip her before the massage as well and I felt awkward about the whole payment experience. Fourth, the masseuse went in and out of the room two times during the massage to deal with another customer... and she definitely did not give me the full hour massage considering that in and out, and her finishing earlier than the full hour mark which was really disappointing as a paying customer. Lastly, the massage itself was not great... it was very mediocre and it would've been OK if everything else that I mentioned was not an issue. Overall, I was really excited to try this place, but was very disappointed and the quality of the massage and just the whole experience in general. I truly say this because as a business owner myself, there are so many easy things that you can fix to make the customer feel more comfortable.
