I really wanted to like this place more but it is still in the growing stages. We were second in line when they opened at 1pm. The lady before us ordered ahead but didn't realize the door was unlocked when there was a line behind us waiting to get in. No one came to the door to say anything so we all just continued to wait till a bit after one when I asked the lady in front of me if she tried to see if the door was open. Which it was ‍ but again, no one knew! You have to order off a kiosk and one of the two, was out of order so the line took a while. I found this odd since the place is so new. Anyway, by the time I finished entering my order, the line was out the door! Bingsu is a milky shaved ice dessert from Korea. Usually very good! This one lacked the milky taste and we really should have ordered extra cream to make it taste better. I had the mango one and requested red bean and mochi. I did not realize that they simply give you a small container of each and do not add it to your bingsu. Again, I found that odd. Additionally, the mango was cut too close to the seed so it tasted like the seed which is not pleasant. I also did not care for the whipped topping which made it taste cheap in my opinion. Whipped topping was not complimenting and I'd rather have ice cream if they really needed to add anything. Maybe I'm just spoiled by Snowy Village in Seattle and Snow Bunny in Portland. And maybe, this restaurant just needs more experience in making bingsu? read more

They are very attentive to your order especially if your order seems allergy friendly they come and ask specifics on you item to get it right. Love their late hours and special seasonal options. IC Bingsu is a new korean shaved ice and dessert shop in Hillsboro, tucked away in a small strip mall with mostly indoor seating and a couple outdoor seats. The interior is clean and cute, with one wall lined with strip lights behind the seats to create a cozy ambiance. You order at one of two kiosks, and the menu is pretty extensive with a variety of bingsus, croffles, and drinks. The bingsu flavors range from fruity to earthy/creamy, and unique flavors like injeolmi (which normally has a nutty and slightly sweet flavor). There's modification options for the bingsu, like adding red bean, extra condensed milk, extra mochi, boba, bursting strawberry boba, bursting mango boba, or bursting blueberry boba. They even allow for a foil Sealed Bag option for take out so your bingsu stays cold! We got the Strawberry Bingsu, Mango Croffle, and Korean Iced Coffee. I really appreciated the ratio of shaved ice, toppings, and condensed milk on the bingsu because it felt like every bite had a good mix of everything and I wasn't just getting spoonfuls of shaved ice. The Mango Croffle paired nicely with the Korean Iced Coffee -- I love having some type of pastry-like snack with coffee. One of the workers came by after we finished to ask how everything was, and said we should try the Lotus Croffle next time, so I will be back to try that! read more

While the menu is impressive, the bingsu is more expensive and doesn't taste as good as in Korea. However they do offer games to play while eating such as cards, Brain Games, and Jenga so it's a nice place to hang out. read more

A friend and I were in the Beaverton area and decided to try it out. We got there around 6pm, and ordered shortly after. The order was made through a kiosk but staff was there to help with any questions. The space was nice and simple, seating inside and outside. We were told that there was a dairy free option. Rather than a milk-based shaved ice and condensed milk, the Bingsu would be made with ice (which at that point is the Hawaiian style shaved ice) and coconut milk. We ended up ordering three things, Lotus Croffle, Strawberry Bingsu and Mango Bingsu. After ordering it took about 10 minutes to get our order. I forgot how sweet Lotus crackers were but I liked the Croffle, my favorite out of the three things we got. The strawberry Bingsu was good, the shaved ice was more textured than most Bingsus I've had. It had small strawberry mochi pieces as part of the topping and strawberry chunks and cream on the inside. My least favorite was the mango, I was highly disappointed. The mango pieces weren't sweet but bitter, didn't seem like it was ripe and tasted like frozen mango chunks. Yay for bingsu on the West side! (Who remembers Sweetang?!!?) This is a counter service where you order at the kiosk. You bus your own tables. There's minimal interaction with the staff. We waited about 5-10 minutes for our order. My boyfriend got the blueberry bingsu and I got the strawberry cheesecake bingsu. The taste was great-fluffy and creamy. Not too sweet. The croffles were pretty popular. I hear they're trending in Korea and this is the first I've seen it in Oregon. I do find it overpriced for the size. As someone who has tried many bingsu places in LA and Seattle, I was slightly disappointed by IC Bingsu. Even though the taste was good, I thought the sizes were small. I also thought it was weird they had napkins and utensils behind the counter that were distributed by the staff (What if I spilled my drinks?). There were no cups for water. And they charge an extra $1 for a small container of condensed milk which is usually included at other bingsu places. It just felt like they were being cheap? The cafe had kpop music playing. There's shelves stocked with board games to play. Overall, I did enjoy the bingsu. It hits the spot on a hot summer day. I just think they should have a stash of napkins/utensils at the front, a water service station and just include the condensed milk like like every other bingsu place. read more

This place has a great ambiance, very chill and lots of seating available indoors and outside. They have a great menu of drinks and desserts :) The service was wonderful, we were greeted right away, and our food was prepared in a timely manner. They also have a great selection of board games as well as wifi! I ordered the strawberry and mango yogurt bingsu and enjoyed every bite of it. This is an adorable shop with delicious treats. Everything tasted so fresh and not too sweet. We also got a pineapple lemonade with boba and that was refreshing too and the boba was still warm. I really enjoyed their decor. It's bright and well lit. They have kiosks to order your items. This place must be new because it seemed very unorganized and chaotic when I went. There were customers waiting around everywhere and nobody was telling them to order at the kiosk. One of the two kiosks was broken. After ordering from the kiosk, it took over 1/2 hour to get my order. The trash was piled high. I think they were understaffed that day. I ordered the strawberry and mango shaved ice. They had the option for a dairy free shaved ice too. You also have the option to customize with added red bean or boba. They were both really delicious. Since my only gripe was the wait time, you should order online ahead of time and have a much better experience. read more

Took the kids here yesterday. The Korean Shaved Ice is big! One kid got the Strawberry one and loved it. The milk shaved ice was like sweet snow. They have peach and mango flavors, summery, fresh and delightful. The other child got a nutella crossant-waffle which was crispy and buttery and magnificent. My kids want to go back and split the Oreo one next time. Be prepared to wait for a while and to order off a computer screen. read more

Located across the street from Burgerville. We tried to stop by after a burger, but they were out of the ice I wanted to try. The worker was sweet and told us they expected a delivery the next day, so we were happy to return. I'm glad we did! My husband enjoyed the strawberry cheesecake flavor, but I loved the mango! It was sweet and creamy, with fluffy snow, soft pieces of mango and perfectly chewy cubes of mochi. I added a side of sweetened condensed milk, but didn't really need it. This place is fantastic! This was my first time trying Bingsu and I'm hooked! We ordered the Mango Bingsu, Strawberry Bingsu and the Chocolate Croffle. Portions were very generous and were more than enough for four of us. All the desserts were fantastic, but the mango Bingsu was my favorite. Super refreshing and not overly sweet. I can't wait to go back and try more flavors. They have a shelf with games and we had a great time playing Codenames - one of our favorite games. I will definitely be back! read more
