Oh man.. where do I start? First off, their pizza is delicious, so is the no name cake. However, their online ordering system isn't reliable. Sometimes your pizza will be done early, on time, or late. I mean, waiting an extra 10 minutes is no big deal, but watching patrons walk in, order, then get their food before yours, sucks. Long story short, i've interacted with numerous employees and they definitely live up to their motto. They are all about pleasing the customer and will make everything alright. Because of that, I keep coming in, despite the negative experiences I've had with wrong orders, long wait times, and hair cooked into my food. Here's a tip, go in and order your food. Mod Pizza is a good place for pizza. It's especially good since it allows you to make a pizza just for you vice whatever the menu has on it. I prefer a pizza made with white sauce, pesto, mozzarella, chicken, spinach, olives and sometimes a bit of red bell pepper. No problem, they will make it like you like it for one decent price! I also like the fact that they sometimes hire people who need a little help. When I've been there they are a hard working bunch and I really respect them. All in all, a different and refreshing spin on pizzas. read more

I've been here twice. Completely unsanitary food prep employees. The pizza is good as long as you DO NOT GET THE WHITE SAUCE!!! Go with the garlic rub for a non-red alternative, at least you'll get some flavor. My problem with this place is that there is no apparent manager on duty. And during the half hour that we were there, the girl never once changed her gloves. She did however continue to rub them in her clothing, adjust her glasses, tuck her hair behind her ear - right along with making everyone's pizza. She acted as if the gloves were being worn to protect her, like in a hospital. Heck, maybe she's a nursing student, I don't know. But if you don't want everything off her face in your pizza then ask her to change her gloves before making yours! read more

I have no idea where the one/two star reviews are coming from, I LOVE mod pizza!!! Expect this place to be BUSY, but the reason it is so busy is because it's so GOOD! We've never had problems finding a place to sit and have never felt like we waited too long for how busy it was. I always get a Maddy with white sauce and then pretty much make it into a Hawaiian. Needs better time management. You have 5 employees working a lunch shift and only one person making the pizzas and one person baking while also working the registers. They can see there's a line of pizzas and people, but the other employees just keep going into the back area. Remember...your lunch customers most likely are on their lunch break...10 min waiting, 10 min cook, plus 10min travel to and from only leaves 20 minutes to eat and digest. You can easily lose customers that way. That said the food is always phenomenal. read more

Mod has become one of our favorite pizza options. Unfortunately the Walla Walla store is VERY slow. 30 minute wait at least just to order. They might consider sending a manager to watch how Richland moves the line. Tonight there had to be 40 pizzas waiting to go in the oven. Whole prep line was covered. read more

If this was my business I would have my butt there didn't see any ownership helping out they must be just sitting back and collecting there money. I ordered a pizza online and selected the dairy free cheese, but couldn't find how to select the same option for cheesy bread so I just submitted it. Someone called me to see if I would like the same cheese as I had selected on my pizza. Needless to say the customer service is always good. First off, I love pizza, and I'm particular. I was happy with the service and the time from paying to waiting., i got the "Dominic" or something. Either way i can't eat red sauce. This places white sauce was hands down the WORST I have ever had! So thick and pasty with zero flavor, and to make this first big bite even better, the amount the chick put on it was enough to make it soggy in leas then 5 mins! Terrible! The salad, wonderful! This location has come a long way since opening! I am updating my review based on excellent customer care, employee kindness and great food quality. When this location first opened and the store was getting settled, things could be hectic and some of the folks working at that time could be short with all of the stress, errors were fairly common - hence some of the poor reviews. However, they have a great process down now and the people working at Mod seem to truly enjoy making good food. Employees like John make you feel like you are eating at a friend's house. He took such care to ensure the pizzas and salad for my family were made wonderfully. When I thanked him, he told me that he likes making sure things are good, especially since it's someone's food and that is important. All of the team members working were helping each other out, greeting customers as they walked in the door and keeping the restaurant clean and well-stocked. I think this location is now equal to or probably even better than the Richland store! read more

Very disappointed in my service today. I've been to MOD a few different times, and had decent service but today was AWFUL. I ordered online at about 10:30 to beat the rush. When I arrived at 11... when the app said it would be ready, a worker was sitting at a table on his phone. It took about 5 minutes for him to ask if he could help me. I let him know I placed an order online about 15 minutes ago he let me know my pizza was no where to be found. I waited for 20 minutes while others were served when finally my order was put into the oven. Upon arriving home, toppings were put on very sloppy (only half of my pizza), and toppings were missing. There was no sauce with the cheesy bread. If I'm going to wait 20 extra minutes I'd at least like my order to be correct. Take your business elsewhere. read more

I ordered online and went in just a little early to pick up. It was a little busy and the staff was definitely working hard. My order wasn't ready yet so I happily waited. Multiple staff members checked on me and the current status of my order. They had great customer service while separately dealing with someone on the phone complaining about mod's decision to not serve cold chicken. Seems like he should be calling to thank mod. Pizza was really good, however the interior was dirty. Greasy fingerprints on the seats, crumbs all over the tables, floor looked as if it wasn't swept the night before (I went at 11- right after they open). Witnessed one employee flip another employee off when his back was turned and he thought I couldn't see him. Also, my daughter and I were the only customers in the restaurant and all the employees were having a overly loud conversation and I heard multiple expletives, including the f word multiple times. If my pizza wasn't good then I would have given 0 stars in possible. Very disappointed in this location. read more

Excellent pizza (what I may consider the optimal fast food pizza). The style of the restaurant​ itself, as well as the ambiance, is awesome,​ not to mention absolutely delicious pizza. Having eaten here on two separate​ occasions, by far the main detractor​ is the extended wait associated with it. I would estimate at least 45 minute​s from the time one walks in the door until one actually receives their pizza. Although they appear to have a plentiful number of employees their approach is utterly inefficient. I would recommend​ a more thorough training of the staff and observance of the ideals that define Mod Pizza, making them a reliable place to eat in any other location. read more
