For shaved ice it's meh. The syrup is watered down and has no flavor except SWEET. Went on a weekday mid-day, the child behind the counter employed the long observed delay tactic of pretending to clean instead of serving customers. The counter wipe as f you is new to no one. The shaved ice was packed down and a tired straw was taken from a dingy container and put on my order. There was no hint of wrapper. Blech. All of the surfaces in this place need serious cleaning. I absolutely loved it ! I honestly didn't know it existed but was so happy to head there to try it out. Its a small little ice cream shop, but it has a super cute photo wall as well as a couple of tables to sit at to enjoy your ice cream. It's cute and small, so definitely don't expect a super fancy shop - but the experience and ice cream is so worth it! They have rolled ice cream & shaved ice. All four of us got a different rolled ice cream. You can get it in a waffle (yes, like a real waffle!!) Or in a dish. The presentation and toppings are fabulous. Every time I come to Ice N roll the employees are beyond rude and are always rushing us out. I understand going to get food before closing is a burden, but going over an hour before closing time, I shouldn't be rushed or rudely looked at. They also locked the door and closed the register early so they were only accepting cash and continued to say "I don't know why the door was locked" when I know she just wanted no one to come in. The idea of of this place is worth five stars, but I think they could use some intense customer service training! I'm giving 3 stars because my strawberry rolled ice cream was delicious, and I think this business has potential if they can get customer service right. I ordered the Mangonada drink which to near shock was $17.50, but I was willing to give it a try for novelty and vanity. I was very specific in saying that I did not want the spicy version at all, and the gentleman at the register assured me that I could get a drink with no Tajin, and no spicy flavoring. Well the rude woman who was making the order still drenched the entire cup in the syrupy spicy sauce and a portion of it got into my drink. I tried to drink it, but instantly got heartburn because the syrup got inside of the drink and sunk to the bottom. Usually I don't complain but because this drink is the cost of a meal I decided I ought to get what I asked for. When I made the request to have it exchanged or refunded to the cashier , the woman who made it interjected and tried to correct me stating loudly "I PERSONALLY MADE THIS DRINK, ITS NOT SPICY. I DIDN'T PUT IT IN THERE." However, I am assuming she did not taste my actual drink, and I showed her how the whole bottom of my supposedly mango only drink was red and speckled with Tajin. She offered to re-make it and made a spectacle of training the other staff on it. When I got the new drink it was the same sloppy job, and the red Tajin syrup STILL GOT INSIDE MY DRINK! It was all over the rim and seeping down inside. I don't know why she put it on there again. I can only assume it was to make herself feel good, but the entire rim and outside of the jar was covered and the red sauce was dripping into the cup. I left because I am pregnant and don't have the mental space to process her prideful behavior but God bless her and this business because other people will not be as nice or calm as I was. Also, the second drink was watery in flavor instead of tasting like mango. $17.50 for a non-alcoholic beverage with immature customer service is NOT WORTH IT. I simply never have to return. I don't believe that customers are always right, but when they are, it pays to be humble!!! read more

This place is absolutely disgusting! All the tables, pans, where they top the ice creams, and where the bases are, are filthy! My daughter worked there and used to tell me how the rags they used always smelled bad and were never washed, the dishes were never done correctly, were all washed in cold water and the back room was absolutely disgusting. She was treated incredibly poorly by one of the owners. The owners and manager used to talk about all the employees behind their backs and make fun of them with other employees. Her and several other employees weren't getting paid when they were supposed to or what they were supposed to. The owners must pocket most of the money they make because the employees don't get it in their checks and then they don't even spend it on the store. Most of what was advertised they never had because they never had the ingredients and supplies for them. The checks my daughter received bounced and now no check from them will clear. This is absolutely ridiculous. Please don't waste your money or take the chance of getting sick due to the uncleanliness of this establishment. Also, know that every dime that comes out of your pocket goes to the owners, not the person working and making your order, and not towards their stores. My daughter no longer works there because I won't allow her to continue working for free, continue to be told lies and excuses as to why the checks bounced, won't clear, or extremely lower than what they should be. Four months was long enough! UPDATE: So to date my daughter received another check that bounced! She's owed 4 checks that we honestly do not think she will receive. Please, if your teenagers even think about working here, deter them. They will not get paid. Again, investing any money into this establishment is a waste of time. Not only are they overpriced, disgusting, and unsanitary, they DO NOT pay their employees. Next call is to the labor board, and the Board of Health. read more

They were out of everything at 5pm on a sat night. Then my niece had to use the bathroom cause she's 5 and has to try out every restroom any time we go out. THE BATHROOM WAS DISGUSTING. Now, I see what the employees used and I'm afraid to eat ice cream. We had already ordered and it was easily a 45 min wait. I've never seen a bathroom smellier or dirtier in my life. Cute concept. I ordered the strawberry milkshake with fruity pebbles it was sooo good! The staff was pleasant, answered any questions we had and was willing to allow me to record the ice cream being rolled. My only issue is the cleanliness I know it gets busy and can be hard to keep up with the tables and chairs being cleaned between customers. The chairs by the backdrop were a little dirty, the tables and the seat. Menu is great, staff is pleasant the ice cream and milkshakes are actually elite. Every cone is beautiful! Flavorful. In the rush hours you may have to wait a bit, can be 30min or more. But it's so worth it! The staff is nice. The place is clean and pretty.
