We have now gone there twice and enjoyed their Chinese foods very much. First time we dinned in and the service was amazing. Everyone was kind and helpful. Food was absolutely delicious! Big servings sizes and brought out nice and hot. None of us ordered the same items and everyone was happy - there were 7 of us that night. Second time we did a pick up order, Chinese food again. Portions were good again, I guess the only issue was they put the family meal in a large tray and the sweet and sour sauce was in a different container. Made it just a little challenging to get all the sweet and sour chicken mixed into the sauce. Next time I will plan better. Everything was once again delicious. If you don't feel like driving out of Bonney Lake, this place has variety of sushi rolls just like a regular sushi restaurant because the restaurant has its own sushi bar. My husband ordered like 5 - 6 rolls from this place for Mother's Day 2025 (how sweet of him), and though I didn't think they were cheap.... These rolls were sufficient to satisfy my sushi craving at the time. The prices are fair due to today's expensive prices in the market, and this restaurant isn't 100% serving only sushi. So they don't exactly have "happy hour" like my other favorite sushi restaurant in Lake Tapps. Their beef was more flavorful than the chicken, but man that flavor stuck around for a while if you know what I mean. Truly a disaster. It had been a while since we last visited and we decided to try a few different items this time around. We ordered sesame chicken, mongolian beef, and yakisoba (veggie). Let me start with the sesame chicken. Dont even taste the chicken. All you taste is the breading with sauce. It's that type of breading where it's hard to chew. The breading sometimes pokes at your mouth as you chew or pokes at your throat if you dont chew enough. The sauce was the only highlight. Mongolian beef was very chewy. It has this odd vinegary taste mixed with oil. Didnt sit right that I honestly felt like throwing it up rather than swallowing the piece of meat. The veggie yakisoba was odd as well. Had a taste that almost is described as a sharp tart teriyaki sauce with noodles and vegetables. The vegetables had more of this flavor than the noodles. Literally the cucumber pieces were soaked in it. Overall, we had to throw away our dishes. Could not even finish them. We will never come back here again. I loved the cashew chicken! It had lots of vegetables, cashews, chicken, and great sauce. It came with 2 scoops of rice. The portion was large enough for two! DH ordered sweet and sour chicken. It is deep fried, breaded chicken. The sauce was good. He says he will order the cashew chicken next time, as he prefers chicken dishes that are not deep fried. My daughter was craving orange chicken and I use to love this place when I was a teen. So no orange chicken but my daughter got the sesame chicken... our server was a younger girl super nice. Crab ragoons tasted like the frozen ones just deep fried. The food my daughter really liked... the breading was fresh and their was plenty to share. I want to start this by saying my husband and I moved to Bonney Lake mid-pandemic and haven't been to ANY restaurants since it started. Now that cases and risks are lower (June 2022) we walked in to this place since this business is rated "great" and the other teriyaki joint on the next block has the lowest rating possible without being shut down. On to the experience. We walked in and immediately were greeted by a server and who I believe is the manager or owner. They were super friendly and made some suggestions. We decided on a t-12(chicken teriyaki with egg rolls), combo friend rice, and the cashew chicken, all to split so we could just try things. They brought us egg drop soup (which maybe could use a pinch more of salt, could just be me) and the eggs were perfectly thin ribbons. The food came in probably 5-10 minutes and was super hot and fresh. The cashew chicken was a nice blend of about 5 vegetables with a sauce that wasn't too sweet or salty, which I appreciate. The veggies and chicken were all cut really small which is kind of weird, but I assume it's to cook faster. Of course the teriyaki was amazing and the salad dressing was that perfect teriyaki joint dressing. The combo fried rice was *good* but I recommend skipping. I'm a textural eater so the beef being kind of fatty was a huge turn off for me. I'd recommend just going with the chicken or shrimp fried rice. If you're not a textural eater, the beef may be fine for you. I stopped into the bathroom first just to wash my hands (duh, pandemic) and the soap was full and paper towels were available. The restaurant was well lit, very spacious, and music was not too loud. The cooks came out to chat with the other front of house workers a few times and everyone was generally really nice. I hate leaving bad reviews but the meal we got served today was just not good at all. The 3 stars is solely for great customer service. I ordered the chicken teriyaki. While the sauce flavor was good, the small amount of chicken I received was completely dry and burnt. My 5 year old LOVES teriyaki but she couldn't eat this. This is hands down the worst Asian-style food I've ever had. My boyfriend and I both got the combo fried rice. Our food was ready in three minutes. The prawns were frozen, old, and floppy, the beef was slimy and the fried rice had zero flavor. Thank goodness they gave us free sauces.
