Solid choice to satisfy a craving without having to drive into Chinatown and prices are actually pretty decent for the serving size. It wasn't amazing wow but good. Between the black garlic and the creamy tonkotsu you could actually taste the broth differences which is great. They both were very rich and flavorful, I love the topping options that already come with the bowls. Noodle texture was good, nice chew. I do prefer the wavy noodles over the skinny ones though. The thing that really separated this from being a 4 star is that the egg is not marinated & I feel like the broth could be a little hotter coming out. I also had a shrimp tempura roll, it was good. I was a little nervous going in, but everything turned out better than I expected. I had their signature ichi roll and shoyu ramen. Which feels like the safe option, but as a girly who doesn't usually like sushi or trying new things, I enjoyed it. What really made the experience stand out was the service. Decent spot in the Centennial area for ramen. The service was excellent, and the food was as good as you can get for a neighborhood ramen place. We got the chicken karaage as an appetizer and it was a lot of chicken for a great price. We even ended up taking some home and ate the rest for dinner. Same with the ramen. I got the miso ramen and the flavor was good, although not the greatest. The noodles could have been a bit more al dente, but overall it was a good bowl of ramen. CUSTOMERS BEWARE ESPECIALLY OLDER FOLKS!!!! Our waitress ignored us for 10 minutes after we sat down and took the order for another table that sat down after us before I stopped her to asked if we could place our drink and food order. She never apologized for ignoring us and she took her time coming back to take our order. There were 5 of us including my elderly parents and my 10 year old daughter. My dad asked for a separate check for their bill when he ordered. When I asked for our checks so we could go home, our waitress brought both bills and said nothing about adding an auto-gratuity to our checks. My dad added a tip and the waitress took back his receipt. I then noticed the auto gratuity on my check and told my dad he didn't need to tip more. The waitress had already taken his receipt so I asked the cashier for it back twice and she acted confused (intentionally I believe) and kept giving me another copy of my check even though it was still sitting in front of me signed. I asked the cashier a third time for my dad's check and the waitress chimed in to tell me she added the auto-gratuity because we were a party of 5. I said yeah that's fine but my dad tipped on top of the auto-gratuity and he wants to remove the additional tip. She smirked at me like the whole thing was funny to her and she was hoping to take advantage of my elderly parents. I then reiterated the service wasn't even any good and we definitely were not going to tip on top of an auto-gratuity. As I was leaving, the waitress was still smiling at me like she often gets away with taking advantage of people. I ordered the vegetarian ramen bowl but I do the fried broccoli instead of tofu. My boyfriend got the black garlic bowl and we ordered two sides of the crispy rice tuna. They honestly have the best crispy rice tuna we have eaten. The rice is super crispy, the tuna melts in your mouth with the sauce and the jalapeño gives it a nice kick. I would just order the fried broccoli and eat it with the sarachi all by itself. The broth for my dish was okay. I did addd the Karachi and some shoyu sauce to give it a little more kick. Went to Ichi Ramen on a last-minute whim and WOW..we do not regret it one bit! The food was absolutely amazing and bursting with flavor. We were seated right away and the service was incredibly fast, which made the whole experience even better. We started with the popcorn shrimp which was crispy, perfectly cooked, and topped with a delicious sauce that added just the right kick. The curry ramen was hands-down the star of the night. We've always enjoyed the food and service at this location....until today. I received an Uber Eats gift card for the holidays. I was taking advantage of the buy one, get one offer on their Tonkatsu Ramen. I placed the order on the Uber Eats app. When I received the message that my order was ready, I proceeded to the counter. I was asked for an order number. There was no order number. I showed her the phone screen to confirm the order had been placed and was ready and she was flustered. She didn't ask my name which would have clarified everything. The order was actually sitting right in front of her. I asked for a garlic oil for the soup and I got told I had to pay for it. That's like walking into a Burger King and being charged for ketchup packets. BOGO or not this is a sure fire way to turn off your loyal customers. The rolls were really tiny but the flavor was good and I asked for low sodium soy sauce and the server told me they don't ever have low sodium soy sauce. The salad, which was free with the ramen and tuna, was lettuce that didn't taste clean and some dressing drowning in what tasted like store bought balsamic. A little weird, but cool. A deal is always nice. When it arrived, it was pale white. It looked like a hot bowl of milk. And, it tasted like a hot bowl of milk too! Incredibly unappetizing. No flavor and no spices. I asked if that is how they typically prepare their tonkotsu and they stated yes. Furthermore, it was rated as one of their top ordered items. Always our go-to Ramen, been coming for years. You can really taste the quality in all the ingresidents. Tried the yakitori for the 1st time and WOW! That is not your ordinary BBQ on a stick. Its so soft (chicken thighs) and has a thin layer of crisp that's just so easy to bite. It almost pops with flavor as you bite. The sauce compliments the entire experience so well. I also was not aware that shoyu Ramen came with 2 slices of I think it was pork? When I read the description it said vegetable broth so I assumed that it was a vegetarian ramen. My 2 girlfriends and I were first impressed when we went inside. Tho small, it was clean . We looked at the menu and we were going to order when we saw that they had placed on the menu a combination special photo of the ramen bowl, pot stickers, sushi role and salad , so we all ordered it. It looked like a good deal. When the bill came, we were charged extra for the pot stickers, the sushi rolls and the only thing free was the little bowl of salad. Well, we talked to the manager and told him we would not pay the extras because it was fake advertising. After much argument on his part, he did agree to give us a discount and we took it.
