My friend got the chicken based ramen broth and said she would probably go for the pork base next time because the chicken broth was too lightly flavored for her tastes. This place does not disappoint, the appetizers and food is very tasty and well cooked. The service here is good not very long wait times and food comes out fast. We got the Tori kawa chips (chicken skin deep fried) and corn ribs and also the gyoza. These were all great choices. The main course was miso ramen and classic tonkatsu. The broth was very rich and thick just the way that I like it. The miso comes with thick noodles wow it was so good and chewy. The classic came with thin noodles also good but I prefer the thick. Now into dessert we got the mango kakigori (shaved ice). This was amazing. The portion is big enough for two people to share. Highly recommend getting this dessert. This place is where "it's at". I didn't know this just thought I wanted to try a different Ramen spot. Very short wait time seated and off to the races deciding what to get. Plenty of options and also very simplistic menu. Front and back large font so didn't take long to find my jam. Staff was really nice and courteous ready to assist with any questions and make recommendations. Small dinning area so high energy which helped make it feel a little exclusive. Love the colorful and RGB decorations on the wall as well. Pretty cool that they have merch too. My wife and I enjoyed a nice bowl of Truffle Shoyu and their RB Signature Ramen. From their menu, they have plenty of starter dishes such as gyoza, tempura, etc, pretty standard from any ramen shops. They also have rice dishes, vegetarian options, and adding toppings cost extra as well. -- Truffle Shoyu -- ($18) Amazing ramen dish, the mushroom dashi surprised me as I've never seen mushrooms in ramen like this before. Give the truffle a good mix with the bamboo shoots and it becomes a whole bowl of flavor. Noodles were easy to chew and very flavorful. Broth itself is strong but not too salty. Highly recommend if you like mushroom based ramen. (9/10) -- RB Signature Ramen -- ($16) A great dish for first time visitors. You can't really go wrong with their signature dish, comes with chasu pork, eggs, spinach, onions, nori, all mixed with chicken broth was the perfect combination. The noodles mixed with the broth created a very flavorful bite. Pretty addicting overall. Broth is great, not too salty as well and not as strong as the Truffle Shoyu. Didn't really have much high expectations for a local ramen shop but my wife and I left the restaurant pretty happy about the experience as a whole. The ramen had really solid depth of flavor -- rich, savory, and actually tasted like it had been simmering for hours. Dined here for a late lunch yesterday with my daughter and we had an amazing experience. We had been roaming around Chinatown and wanted ramen so decided to give it a try. We ordered the truffle shoyu ramen, kuro tonkatsu, takoyaki, and mango shaved ice dessert. The takoyaki was crispy and savory with a perfect inner gooey texture. The ramen was full of flavor and texture. Our favorite of the two was the truffle shoyu as it balanced earthy mushroom flavors with bright crunchy vegetables and fresh chewy noodles. As amazing as all of that was, the mango dessert was insanely delicious. The shaved ice melted away into a sweet creamy mango slush and it was spectacular. Came here on a Monday lunch break and it was not busy at all. Upon coming in, the place is decently sized with plenty of seating. I got seated right away with my fiance. The girls working were friendly and nice and immediately came to us and got our drinks right away. We got the corn ribs, and chicken skin which I forgot to take a photo of but both were pleasant. The chicken skin appetizer wasn't oily and it had a great crunch to it. The corn ribs were fantastic too and the flavor on it was great. For 5 pieces, not sure $8 was a good price since it was basically not even a full corn if you deduce it, nonetheless the flavor made up for the cost. I got the spicy tonkotsu and my fiance got the RB signature ramen. We both got extra butter on it which I think we could have gone without considering one slice of butter was $2 each. The RB signature was definitely good and had deep flavor. The noodles were also bouncy and the meat was tender and fatty in the best away. My spicy tonkotsu was a little too spicy but the flavor was still great. Big bowls for both orders as well. I originally wanted the spicy mala ramen but I do not eat pork so I wanted to switch it to chicken. I was told no unless I paid for the extra protein. I tried to explain that I don't want extra just to simply change the protein option. Ultimately, I changed my order and added the mala paste to my ramen. The food was delicious. I mean mouthwatering. Originally came because they had kaigori and ended up getting a bowl of ramen. First of all, love the menu with the super cute drawings of the food - it was a nice added touch, especially as I was choosing what I wanted. I ended up getting the kuro tonkotsu which is a tonkotsu broth with roasted garlic oil. They loaded it with the black garlic oil!! I personally like thick ramen so I did wish it was thicker, but I get that they put thinner ones because the broth is so heavy. The garlic oil flavor did overtake the broth but it was really decent flavor and was a good addition to the broth. The chashu was pretty good and fatty with a good fat to meat ratio. Its flavor is on point and the way it's fried. We've tried a lot of appetizers and shared the classic ramen also. Portion sizes are decent, reasonable, and definitely can fill one person up - Pork Chashu is not the best ever, but they give you 2 to 3 thick slices that are pretty soft and flavorful - noodles are also pretty good! Chewy, thin, quite enjoyable with the broth, but don't go expecting the best noodles ever Overall, a pretty solid spot in Vegas for Ramen. Broth was creamy and flavorful without being overly salty. I love green onions, but there was a bit too much for me where I was just getting spoonfuls of onions when trying to sip broth. The noodles and woodear were the perfect texture. Most toppings you want are additional costs to add on, which is where I feel they fell short. The base dishes doesn't have many toppings to begin with. Shaved ice was HUGE but a little lackluster in flavor. After having Ramen Boys bookmarked for a long time, we finally had dinner here tonight. Perfect rainy night for some ramen to warm us up! We arrived at 7:30pm tonight (Saturday) and it was packed with a line out the door. The host was super friendly and took our name down; we waited about 30 minutes for 2 spots to open up at the bar. Once seated, our waitress quickly greeted us and took our drink order; I opted for their iced green tea and my husband had the yuzu soda - both really good, especially the tea as it tasted freshly brewed. The restaurant was lively with minimal, but fun décor. Since we were seated at the bar, we had a unique view of the chefs working nonstop to fill orders. When our waitress came back with our drinks, we were ready to order. I was super intrigued by the Yuzu Shio chicken based ramen, which is what I ordered but with no green onion. This was a fantastically unique ramen flavor and I'm already craving more. The fresh pieces of yuzu in the broth really amped up the flavor. My only complaint was the lack of meat; I only had 3 bite sized pieces of chicken. Although it was filling and I did thoroughly enjoy my dish, I would have been much more satisfied with some more chicken. My husband opted for the Truffle Shoyu Signature Ramen with chile oil added. He really enjoyed his dish and the added heat from the chile oil. He said the truffle added a unique flavor to his ramen that he really liked. He had a similar issue as I did though with protein lacking; he found 2 small pieces of chasu pork and wished for more. Despite our feelings of the meat being skimpy, we really loved the flavors of our ramen dishes and the quick, yet friendly service.
